We travelled to Marrakech in February 2024 and what surprised us from the very moment we set foot into the Riad, is how we immediately felt at home. Everyone went out of their way to meet our every need, we felt safe, secure and well taken care of. Our heartfelt thanks go out to Mohsin and Abdou and all the lovely people behind the scenes. It was an absolute pleasure to meet you all and we will never forget our time with you.

We liked everything about the place. An Oasis amongst the tight and crowded streets of the Souk area within the Medina. There were three staff members, and all were delightful. A massive thank you to Zakaria, our host. A lovely young guy who went over and beyond his duties in assisting us during our stay. This was service at its best.
Nothing, all was perfect.

The staff was soooo helpfull and kind.
The room was beautifull.
They offer you if you want a traditional Tajine on arrival, it is very good, much better then is other tourist restaurant traps.
You cand book different tours with them also.
Delicious breakfast.
The pool is deep and refreshing.
The air conditioning was a bit noisy, but worked efficiently

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Riad and cannot speak highly enough of the young gent who took care of everything for us. Nothing was too much trouble, from organizing tours and taxis, to keeping us supplied with water and offering recommendations.
The riad is right in the thick of the Medina. Using the GPS app provided by the riad was an absolute god send! We’d have been total lost without it …literally! The Ben Yousef school is an absolute must see and is only a few short minutes walk away.
We were a little disappointed that the plunge pool on the roof terrace wasn’t filled. It would’ve been perfect to take a dip after long days site seeing in 37 degrees heat :(
Although there’s nothing particularly wrong with the riad, we felt it was a little tired and didn’t quite live up to the published photos.

Breakfast was delicious and served beautifully. We loved the pancakes and the omelettes and the chocolate cake we had one day was divine . The cheeses and fruit salad were amazing .
For us it was perfect , everyone was so kind and couldn’t have done enough for us .

it’s in a great location, close to the souks and loads of shops nearby.
the plugs are a bit loose and shower head a bit old, would be great to get this fixed.

Everything except what I didn't 😂
Only one thing: you could hear everything from outside the room and for sure everyone could've heard everything from you inside of the room too

Very calm in the mist of all was great. Very fresh room naturally, in spite of the heat. Spacious shower.
The bed was comfortable and clean, but a bit dented. The room in the ground floor room was a bit dark, even with the lights on. Not a lot of storage space if you go for more than 3 days. Since all rooms go towards the patio you can hear everyone around with their windows open , but I suppose this is something that all riads are alike, so careful if you are looking for zero noise: dont choose a riad.

Excellent hotel with very helpful staff - the manager Mohsin was great and very helpful. Hotel beautiful and lovingly restored. My tip would be to take advantage of the hotel airport transfer as the Medina is a bit of labyrinth.

We’ve just returned from a lovely mini break at Riad Cinammon. The riad has a great charm about it and was a good experience embracing everything it had to offer. Our host Mohsin was incredibly welcoming and very hospitable, and we were provided with a huge and wholesome breakfast each morning to fuel us for the day. It’s amazing how quiet and calm the place is given its location in the middle of the Medina. Overall we had a pleasant experience and would be pleased to stay here again!
We struggled to locate the riad when we first arrived as there are no sign posts anywhere to direct you to it - this was even despite switching on data roaming (which is not cheap!) and using GPS. Further we were slightly confused why our room did not have a lock on it (the doors could be locked from the inside using a bolt but not from the outside). We were however provided with a padlock to lock from the outside once we had expressed our concern. Finally if you are a light sleeper then be prepared to be woken up bright and early by the call to prayer due to the proximity to the mosque nearby.

We really enjoyed our stay in this riad. Lovely place with spacious rooms. Breakfast everyday was fresh and bountiful. The service was excellent. It was also impressive how this riad was an oacis of quiet and calm despite being located in the middle of the souk (although you will still hear the morning prayer!). Location was amazing, walking distance to all of the main tourist sites and great restaurants. Highly recommend!
Minor detail: shower heads and faucets could be updated.

Our stay at Riad Cinnamon was wonderful. Our host Mohsin and cook Zahira made us feel very welcome.
The room was lovely and the rooftop was a relaxing place to catch some sun and sunsets.

We loved everything about this property. Because there are only 5 rooms and we occupied 2 of them we felt like we had the Riad to ourselves. The food was sensational home cooked food and plentiful. The rooms were large and cool. All the staff were friendly and helpful we was made to feel part of the family.
We would also like to make a special mention to our guardian angel Mohsian, with out him we would have been completely lost, nothing was too much trouble for him, as a group of 4 ladies who felt apprehensive about walking around Marrakesh at night he would come and meet us to walk home safely. He also arranged transportation when needed and would help maps and general advice.

The property was kept extremely clean and tidy, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the breakfasts each day offered such variety and were absolutely delicious, kept us full until dinner time! I would highly recommend this riad, it has a family and welcoming vibe to it that makes you feel at home straight away.
Nothing not to like!

What I enjoyed the most was how helpful and genuinely nice were the hotel staff. Mohsin was always ready to help us - he even taught us how to make Moroccan mint tea in the hotel's kitchen! We had the best time here - will definitely come back. I already miss this place!
Honestly, there were no negative aspects to my stay at Riad by Cinnamon.

The staff members who were exceptionally amazing. They gave me free dinner during my 5 day stay, as am a repeat customer. The breakfast was great esp. the freshly baked cakes every morning. I would go back again in a heart beat.

Abdou and the small team were ace.
We were sat down with mint tea on arrival, map and pen and got lots of info. This is what I like about hostels Vs hotels and it had that vibe...
The rooms, breakfast and space were great. The terrace a bonus too. Tucked away from the madness but convenient location 8-10 mins from the square and close to some ace restaurants (cafe es spices, nomads, Le Jardin, LE14)
Sunrise from the terrace is on point. Pictured
Honestly nothing to dislike. We can list what we'd like to see but that takes away what's there. It's a great place to stay

The room was very nice and the breakfast was good with different choices. (I booked the superior suite Casablanca)
I booked one of the most expensive suite in the Riad and from the pics the expectations were high. However…the air con was not working, the remote control for the tv had no batteries and the double bed was made by 2 single beds. No kettles, coffee or tea or water in the room. (I have been to different riads before where I paid a third of the price of this one and the appliances were available)
I reserved a dinner for my anniversary and we were looking for a romantic dinner on the terrace and I had it in the lobby instead on low tables that you could not fit your legs. the food was not good either unfortunately and the main was burnt.
the pics of the roof terrace look amazing in the evening but the reality is that there are no lights to enjoy the terrace.
the price is insane if there are no attentions to these details.
Unfortunately the lobby and outside don’t look like the pictures on booking.com

We spent 4 nights at the riad Cinnamon. On our arrival the Riad organised a transfer (which I recommend) on our arrival we were met by Mohsin who was super helpful during our stay. Great mint tea! The structure is well located in the centre of the souk from which you can easily reach the square and all the attractions of Marrakech. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff was very kind and always ready to help you. You can also organize excursions directly there. Mohisn will be ready to give you all the useful info. The breakfast was always different and served according to our requests and directly on the terrace of the room. Perfect location with super staff!

Great people! Delicious and varied breakfast. Definately, a riad that I would suggest staying.
Moreover, the app runs perfectly and is very useful.

The riad is truly beautiful! The staff were so attentive and helpful and could not do enough for us. If your looking for a pice of heaven amongst the chaos of the medina this is the place to go!
Absolutely faultless!

Best stay since many years. The whole location is just amazing and staff extremely helpful despite the Covid limitations.
We had an amazing stay.
Nothing else than Covid restriction.

Our stay at Riad Cinnamon was outstanding from start to finish. The courtyard area was beautiful and peaceful, and our room - Essouira - was simply gorgeous, with beautiful locally made decorations, an extremely comfortable bed, and a cool little lounge area upstairs. The staff were friendly and helpful, assisting us with booking local restaurants and a hammam and guiding us to/from our taxi to the airport. Breakfast was included, and very tasty. Cannot recommend highly enough!

From the minute we have arrived to the minute we have left, we have felt nothing less than royalty! Very humble and hospitable staff, feeling like family, words cannot describe how welcomed and safe we have felt. There is no room for negative feedback and would definitely recommend anyone to come and have the experience we have had, and we are sure they would do above and beyond 😊
