Very close to the beach. In this area of Corfu, the beach did not seem very nice, ful fo seaweed, but in front of the hotel, it was cleaned regularly.
Small bathroom, rather old, problems with water pressure and hot water in peak hours, although it did not seem that there were a lot of guests.
3.5
Location was perfect, air con worked well and lovely pool areas
Small shower with curtain a bit dated, no hairdryer, cleaning staff arrived at different times each day so had to organise a time for them to come when we were out and had to request fresh towels and sheets for them to be changed

In the centre, close to everything. Pool and beach access. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Very poor insulation which with all the noise outside will make you feel as if you are right on the street. Being in the middle of it all happening won’t help your sleep.
Water interruptions or lack of pressure can make it difficult to shower. Also, tiny bathroom.

- good location
- decent pool area and private beach
- decent rooms
The hotel is alright but make sure you leave the room completely perfect or else you will be charged damages which you will not be able to contest. My girlfriend and I attended the local paint party and got the tiniest bit of paint on the mattresses and were charged €480 in damages. We weren’t allowed to attempt to clean it or attempt any solution. When we came back to the room we had been locked out and then forced to pay €480 in damages. If we didn’t they promised that they would make sure the police kept us in a cell over night and that the airport would prevent us from leaving the country. Furthermore, after using all our remaining spending money for the holiday to pay their extortionate damages pricing he tried to force me to pay in euros so there would be no way for me to request a chargeback with my bank. The staff were rude and dismissive from our arrival but we didn’t realise how sly, money-grabbing and vile they were until this incident. He told us he’d send us a receipt of the purchases he was making for the new mattresses which of course he never sent because he obviously never ordered them and just cleaned it after we left! Completely ruined our holiday and as we had no idea of our rights were forced to pay a price which we know would’ve costed less than €100 with a cleaning company. If you choose to stay here beware because they will take any opportunity to take as much money from you as they can with no remorse or understanding!!

My second time staying at ammos and the hotel still met my expectations . Rooms are spacious and cosy. The beach bar was lovely, and there was a great choice of options on the menu. The food and drinks were amazing.Great staff members that make you feel at home. Great location, easy access to the beach. Definitely my number one hotel when I visit kavos.
The mosquitos in the rooms

The apartments were beside the beach
The staff were not very helpful I asked for towels on day 2 and I was told I wasn’t getting any until day 3 that was the rule. If a customer asks for towels they should get them. Also the cooking facilities were poor, there was no basics eg, bowls, cutlery, the staff kept turning off our air conditioning also and told us we were “ using too much “ even though it was 30 degrees inside.
In no relation to the apart, Kavos in general is very run down, the staff in shops and hotels were quite rude, and the food was very poor, we had a bad experience overall. Also the area smelled like sewage. I would definitely not recommend Kavos.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
The whole thing is a scam, the worst thing is actually that the host was super rude, unhelpful, and totally unexperienced in hosting business. The last day of our stay he told us that he "let us stay at his place, although we were bad guests" and bad guest according to him is to one who is not buying 10 drinks in his bar next to the pool to the price of 8 euros (you are not allowed to bring own drinks or food to the pool). The room was simple, the problem was that the shower was flooding the whole bathroom, no hair fan in the room, no plates, no basic stuff to survive the day... no kitchen at all, no dishes and it's not a room service place. AFTER 4 DAYS we DID NOT get clean sheets, we had to complain 3 times before we got it, after 4pm!
KAVOS IS TO AVOID in general, but this place is the peak of rude, unpolite, money-stealing attitude allover present in Kavos.

The pool by the beach is amazing.
The general mood of that area was way too hard-party for us. That's not on the hotel fault, but you must bear that in mind if you plan to travel there.

The pool area was very nice.
The bathrooms need to be renovated. The room is okay for the price paid.

The location was very good, very close to the restaurants, supermarkets, bars and all.
Breakfast and coffee were good. Recomend you to try the greek omlette and the club sandwich.
It was clean.
The pool and access to the beach is restricted after 19:30-20. Which was very annoying cause i would like to be able to access the beach in the evening to hear the waves and have a walk or just stay there, not to have to walk 5 min to a street that had access to the beach.
Also, if you are a morning person, the access to the pool/beach starts around 8-9am. And breakfast starts from 10:30(only the food, you can have coffee and drinks earlier)

right on beach away from the strip .

- Location - center of Kavos (a bit loud at night, but in the middle of all the clubs, souvenir shops, markets and actually in the middle of the long beach)
- Room size - no wardrobe, but had a pretty handy bench and a toilet table
- Retractable anti-mosquito net on the balcony door!!!
- Cute balcony with view of the sea (we had a room that specifically had that feature)
- Fridge was pretty spacious
- Pool with cozy seating around it
- Right next to the beach, less than a minute and you're there (sunbeds included for the hotel guests)
- Working AC
- Fridge was defrosting before our arrival, so the first time we opened it a lot of water poured out (got cleaned pretty quickly though)
- The cleaning personnel probably didn't have specific hours, they surprised us at an odd hour in the afternoon when we came back from our trip and didn't really speak any English. They also didn't feel like it was weird that they were disturbing us and tried to chat us up.
- The kitchen didn't really feel like it was made for actual use - no place to dry the plates, no piece of cloth to dry it either, very few utensils, which also didn't feel very clean
- Bathroom door had a 5 cm GAP under them

Ammos apartments have a very good value for the price. The location is perfect, however, you should keep in mind that Kavos in a party area. There are many great restaurants nearby. Staff is very nice and helpful.

Near the sea, fantastic pool
Noisy parties in a neighbourhood, missing kitchenware (sponge and saponate to dishwashing, breadboard)

The room was big and clean, the location was also good-right at the beach. The staff was helpful.
Kavos is for young party people (didn't know this beforehand) so be prepared to wake up when drunk people come back from the bars. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay!

The Ammos Pool area and beach was a great place to relax, have a drink and snacks, there are 2 hotels quite close either side which run 18/30 style pool parties which we didn't mind. When we booked there was only 2 rooms left which was economy and very basic they were, shower head wasn't the correct one for the holder so basically either had to balance it or try and shower 1 handed. The 2 single beds were hard mattresses so by the end of the first few days you could feel it, so if they were available I would have upgraded to another room. The Location was great, very close to all the bars and restaurants and tried quite a few. Terry's, The Steak House and the Chinese on the lower street all had great food. The Shack was a great place to get a full english breakfast which we did on a few occasions and a very nice clean place to eat. Marie's karaoke bar was a great night if you like a sing song or 2, drinks were very reasonable and draft lager at 3 euro's a pint ( 500ml ) was good also as some were 4.50 in other bars. Roussos greek restaurant was also very nice for a couples evening by the beach, but found drinks were alot more expensive with a bottle of wine varying between 20 euro's and 45 euro's if you wanted the nice stuff. We are both 50 so we didn't go for the Kavos nightlife but around the pool or beach beds until 7pm ish, shower etc, change and out by 8.30pm to have an evening meal around 9pm, then a few drinks if we weren't to full from food. Streetz had a few live singers throughout the week and a great drag queen which was a good evening, I also think certain cocktails were 2 of the same cocktail for 5 euro's which again was great value. I'm not one to complain so we didn't as we knew the room was basic. So top tips, take some ear plugs or turn air con off, maybe think about what you can lay on at night instead of the hard matresses. The rest you'll enjoy..
Room very small, bathroom even smaller, would have upgraded if any other rooms were available. Beds were rock hard, uncomfortable, noisy air con... Dont let this put you off, the pool area and beach is were you'd most likely spend most of your day.

Ammos Apartments is a great place to stay in Kavos. We enjoyed the pool and beach just few steps from the apartment. Bar on the beach with served drinks and food.
Spyros and all people were friendly, helping with our requests.
The apartment was tiny but cosy, with balcony. Great value for money.

Fantastic location with great facilities, lovely pool right on the beach and happy helpful staff. We sadly booked into the "wrong" room and the stay was not the most comfortable, we did see into the other rooms and they looked great so avoid the economy room. However despite the room facilities not being great it was very clean and tidy with regular room service throughout.
We booked into the economy room and it really is economy, Small rooms, with rather uncomfortable beds and a tiny shower but it is a case of get what you pay for.

absolutely everything. went there for the second time!
3.0
it was pretty clean and the pool was nice
they have their own beach up front and the sunbeds are included as long as you buy from the bar.
prices were kind of expensive at the bar , at night it was extremly loud , so much so as a i could not sleep due to screaming and bottles being broken. this part of the island is really ugly and tasteless i would say , more suited if you are 16 and looking for a hangover rather than a nice peacefull vacation.the bathroom in the rooms we had was so small that you had to shower with the door open so you don t sufocate. I assume the morr expensive rooms were nicer , all in all it was nice but really loud , this is more to do with the crowds coming here rather than the hotel.
