Really great location, comfortable bed, amazing shower and straightforward check in with really kind staff

The location and value was great . Room and Bathroom excellent. Roast meal Excellent. Daughter was friendly just unfortunately we didn't really have much contact with her as she's a very busy lady in the kitchen
Check in contact lacked a certain warmth with a lack of greeting chat with info on the immediate area and parking info as mum was busy behind the bar.
Found Contact with the host difficult as either busy or closed.

A bijou style accommodation tastefully appointed. As the inn operated restricted hours it was a peaceful location and little annoying noise. Everything one needs provided. Central location in Devizes close to Avebury and Caen Hill Locks.
Lack of own parking spaces but pay car parks close by. Need coins!! The central location did attract some undesirable characters in the neighbourhood, but the accommodation was relatively secure.

No problems. Good compact accommodation at rear of pub but very quiet. Located in centre of town.

The host was a lovely lady very tentative and informative, the room was absolutely spotless and very cosy. Excellent location with a cheap long stay car park around the corner. We stayed at the Pelican on st paddy's night but unfortunately we didn't join in with the celebrations because we were so tired, however it sounded like a great night. We will definitely be back again.

the room was so modern and still comfortable and warm despite it being freezing outside
the bar closed early midweek. however there were plenty of other bars with throwing distance

Great location in middle of market Square area. Very good walk in shower. Easy parking in public car park opposite.
Room was freezing cold on arrival as heating not on (well below 15°C). Electric heater took until the next morning to warm the room and no other portable heaters were available. Pub closes at 6pm which is understandable if no customers but needs mentioning in listing. Cleanliness average at best. particularly in bathroom. Like to support independent listings but sorry to say we would not stay again.

Amazing little rooms very quirky and very clean shower was amazing
It was a Friday and we got back from shopping at 5.45 to find the bar closed we waited half hour to see if staff was on a break but when we went back the bar was still shut and was disappointing as we didn’t have anything to drink in the room other than tea and coffee both of which I don’t drink so had to get ready and go straight out…. We wud av loved a couple of drinks in the pub connected to the rooms

Clean, well looked after and comfortable plus in a convenient location.
I was disappointed the kitchen was shut; local options weren’t so good.

Secure storage for bikes.
Style of property with pleasant courtyard.
No window, only roof light which I was unable to open, so no ventilation in room. Very stuffy overnight.

Stayed here as part of a King Alfred's Way trip. Newly fitted rooms. Safe and quiet space to keep bikes during our trip. No breakfast but plenty of options close by.

Very central and good value, easy to check in and out.

Excellent room in the courtyard, accessed via a side alley by the pub. Breakfast was not provided, but Devizes has lots of options for breakfast - Brogan's in The Brittox is highly recommended!
Parking can be an issue in the centre of Devizes, but that's not the pub's fault.
3.5
Good location, clean and spacious room, value for money.
