Eigenaar gaf een code voor nachtelijke toegang en de passen voor de kamers lagen al klaar.
Fijne, schone handdoeken elke dag.
Badkamer volledig uitgerust
Ontbijt niet uitgebreid; 1 keuzegerecht maar; buffetje was wellicht wat vriendelijker geweest
Kort bed

Our check in was easy, our room was clean and comfy and the bar and food were excellent !
It is on a very busy road and woke us up very early but there’s nothing the hotel can do about that and wouldn’t stop us from staying there again

Visiting relatives so location was good. Staff were really friendly and super helpful - waitress in the bar was exceptional.
Room was clean, basic but for one night more than adequate. Food was absolutely amazing, super hot and super fresh and no long waiting time. Breakfast basic but cooked breakfast lovely.
Shame it was for one night only.
Would only say for some reason Sat Nav sent me to the other side of the A1 but was dead easy to come back to right side of the road.

Amazing stay. Close to family, food and staff friendly and polite. Full 5*

Food was super tasty and staff very pleasant, in very quiet village this hotel and restaurant was a recommendation from a friend and it was as nice as they said would be.
Bed was a little hard for our liking, bathroom great shower. Felt that it lacked a full length mirror in bedroom to do hair etc, the mirror on wall was nowhere near a plug point to dry hair, this being our only criticism, we would stay again if in the area.

Good breakfast plenty of choise
Road noise

Breakfast was spot on,the eggs i had tasted excellent and were cooked to perfection. The staff were very friendly and helpful.i would stay here again no problem.
The only problem we had was with the lock on our room,it was a bit tricky to operate particularly late at night,i could be just me.

We chose this pub for 2 nights to attend a wedding in the area. This is THE pub for food in the area! It was truly really good pub grub with an extensive menu to suit every taste and budget. It was packed out on a Wednesday evening, which is always a good sign. The bar and restaurant staff were all delightful, helpful and efficient. My husband enjoyed a good full english breakfast each morning served by a friendly humorous gentleman. Large car park and great outdoor space, although the weather didn't allow us to use it on this occasion. I can imagine it is a great space during warmer months.
Our room (3) was spacious, comfortable, nice bathroom with good power shower overlooking the main road below. Lovely quaint room with fireplace (non-working) still in situ. No problems with traffic noise - aware of it on occasions but nothing to lose sleep over. Bed was huge but just a bit hard for me.
Just one niggle in this room - it could do with a full length mirror. Ideal spot and useful would be to remove the chair and have the mirror next to the plug point.

I hope Angel Inn Blyth will now respond to my countless phonecalls, emails and booking.com messages.
I orignally contacted them to extend my booking an additional night. However i never managed to make contact with them, neither via phone, nor booking.com. as such, i had to book somewhere else. Angel Inn lost out on additional money, and i spent money on a fake stay with them. Makes you wonder if its all a scam? Book with care.

We had an excellent stay at Angel Inn, enjoying every aspect from the location, to the comfort levels of our rooms, to the friendly staff and excellent restaurant. Would highly recommend anyone to go here for some calm, great moments!!
Nothing, everything was beyond perfect!

Fantastic place. Really was nothing to dislike. Large carpark, and upon entry greeted straight away by manager/owner. Bedroom was great, lovely large bed, lots of tea coffee & biscuits on offer too, bathroom good with the best shower I have ever had in a room. Drink prices very reasonable compared to what we pay near home, and the food was fantastic. The wait staff were very good at their jobs, very attentive. Breakfast again was lovely, would not hesitate to recommend. All in all, one of the best nights away I've had in a very long while

I was very pleasantly surprised by the rooms at the Angel Inn. They were tastefully decorated and very welcoming. the beds were comfy and the shower room looked as if it was newly installed. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the pub had a very nice atmostphere. Breakfast was very good. I do like a full English. We stayed for one night as we were going to my neice's 10th Wedding Anniversary. I would definitely stay there again. A lovely find.
My only critiicism is that my room could have been a tad warmer. My friend who had the next door room said his was very warm. Mine was on the end of the building so maybe that's why it wasn't as warm as his. However, it wasn't a big problem as everything else was so lovely. A delightful

The breakfast was fine and adequate. The room shower was OK but the small wash basin a bit awkward. It's a small room, so perhaps can't be helped.
The room was very small, a bit cramped, and the lighting too dim for comfortable reading. May I suggest you install LED ceiling lamps (low wattage but good light output) and provide bedside table lamps?

The food was exellant ,Loved the fact that they did smaller meals for Adults. The staff worked swiftly & were friendly, the parking was plentyfull & the place was very busy both evenings we were there wich was 2 mid week nights.
We didnt have a bedside lamp & no hand towel.

Good food, great service in the bar
£100 per night for the room was a joke. Poor standard of room, draughty windows, mirror balanced on radiator, shower took so long to get warm the shower tray was overflowing by the time you could get in it. I travel and stay over a lot, i WONT be going back.
