The staff were so friendly, I will stay in this hotel whenever I go to Arona , it's my best choice.
6.0
Exceptional staff. Friendly and very helpful.
Uncomfortable bed.
8.0
Location at train station and facing the lake
Bath fixtures are old and shower is falling apart.
6.0
An outdated hotel but professionally managed and with a customer-oriented staff (for example: ordering a breakfast package late at night and collecting it early in the morning from the night watchman at the Reception was no problem, the attentive waitress who was preparing the breakfast room , came quickly to ask which patisserie I wanted). The reception area / lobby has very comfortable seats. Everything is neat and well polished.
Arona is a pleasant town on the lake, with a lot of local tourism, so the hotel industry is very limited. This hotel is outdated. The rooms in particular are very plain and unattractive, but well maintained: (the four stars of this hotel are a reminder of a past glory).

The renovation was 50 years ago
4.0
Close to the train station
The hotel lacked good energy. Hotel room had dirty chairs and dust on the floor and it was also too cold. Blankets were too thin and the pillows and bed too hard.

The breakfast was really good
the installation and decoration are a bit old, and the staff is not very friendly

Location was good and breakfast was included. Actually the breakfast was good.
Very basic and dated. No air conditioning in the room. The hallway carpets were marked. I think the whole hotel needs a makeover
7.0
Good location, close to the train station. Big room with balcony.
Problem with the AC who is very old. It stopped working during the night. There is a big humidity problem in the bathroom, you'll see mold as there is pretty much no ventilation.

a bit outdated in general. Seems like nothing have been done for at least 20 years. But, still an ok choice to stay in Arona

The hotel is very good located.
Old hotel. Should make some investments. Not really a 4 star. Old furniture. I booked and then breakfast was not included and my mother in law did not get a room next to ours, as it was confirmed.
8.0
The staff was so nice and always smiling and helping out. The rooms were clean and big and have a great view. The location of the hotel is perfect, close to the trains station and on the Main Street with a lot of restaurants and coffee shops near by.
The hotel is a bit old and the walls are thin, so you can hear a lot between the rooms, like when people are watching tv at night. The interior is a bit old fashioned, but the location and the nice staff make up for it.

Great location, friendly staff.
Beds were quite hard and the shower/tub too narrow for my feet to stand flat.

All perfect. I booked a single room but my room was a big double room

Both bedroom and bathroom was pretty big, breakfast provided enough choice
Rooms and furniture require renovation, provided towels were not clean
