Room is absolutly great, the breakfast buffet was very good with lots of choises.
The dinner buffet and the swimming pool lunch quality are far below par and, in my opnion awful.

Our stay was amazing. The hotel is new and very modern. The rooms are spacious and clean (big thanks to Mercy for cleaning our room so professionally). The stuff is friendly and helpful . Breakfast was very good, there was a big variety of food. Dinner was fantastic and very various too. Every day there was a differrent cuisine like italian, canarian, asian, etc.
It would be nice to improve the quality of WiFi in the rooms, because the connection wasn't very stable. Also for the breakfast, scrambled eggs could be better - from the real eggs, not from semi-finished poducts. Everything else was perfect, so we definitely recommend this hotel.

Comfortable bed, delicious food, helpful staff.
The wi-fi signal strength is not good.

Excellent staff and very clean. The hotel has probably the best views on the island. Used the sauna and massage which were both great. Stayed in room 538, which i recommend, as a very quiet and comfortable room.
Could do with some guest water refilling stations in the hotel. We went thru so many plastic bottles of water.

Lovely building & pool. Great bar and service. Nice rooms for the money with balconies.
All beds are twin beds pushes together and are on wheels so they move above which is annoying. I would have preferred a double bed or at least a double duvet.

Big spacious room overlooking pool, clean, good bathroom, big TV, decent size balcony.
Great location, 5/10 minute walk to bars/restaurannts and Cita shopping centre with a Spar (which is also where the bus stop is for local buses including to the airport)
5/10 minute walk the other way to Playa Ingles with bars/restaurants etc.
Reception staff helpful and friendly - especially Begoña who was very helpful with local recommendations and had a bit of banter with us!
Good pool with poolside bar, plenty of sun loungers.
Pretty solid breakfast buffet spread.
Was a birthday trip and the hotel gave a bottle of nice red wine and a happy birthday note from management which was a nice touch.
Very much a positive experience in general, only a couple of minor criticisms:
1: Went for buffet dinner in the restaurant one night, was way overpriced at €22 per person without drinks, and the 'international buffet' was no good.
2: Staff were very strict on the policy of not taking things away from the breakfast buffet! Usually take a coffee and pastry back to the room after breakfast and haven't had any issues in any previous hotels. The staff here quite strongly informed me that this was against policy, and was somewhat embarrassing.

everything was perfection, location is wonderful and room with sea /dunes view is worth it
rooms are well equipped, spacious and isolated from neighbors
the pool garden area is a piece of heaven
nothing except the homogeneity of clienteles, older and very quiet

1. Our gastronomical experience. My boyfriend and I enjoyed and savoured the dishes that were served for dinner. They have different menu every night that will satisfy everyones hunger. I remember looking forward everyday for dinner. A round of applause for their buffet 👏 The breakfast buffet is also a delight. I love that they have an enormous fresh orange juicer.
2. The friendly atmosphere from all the staffs that work in the Hotel👍👍👍
3. The location of the hotel is just amazing. After checking-in on our 1st day there, we went direct to see the Sand Dunes just in front of the hotel. The vibes of the hotel is also very relaxing.
4. The facilities and our room were clean.
The internet connection is not that stable. But it is very easy to connect again and I did not use my internet that much, so it was also okay.

All the staff were lovely and very helpful.
Couldn't do enough. Wished we could stay longer.
Absolutely nothing. Peaceful and relaxing

The cleanest Hotel we've stayed in in a holiday resort
No coffee or tea making facilities in the room

Beautiful hotel, in a magnificent location, with stunning views and the friendliest and most accommodating staff.
Nothing

The breakfast was one of the best ones I've had in these kinds of hotels. The room was nice and quiet and the location was very good. The walk in the beach was lovely and very close by.
The staff was generally very friendly and helpful, but you need to have plenty of time when you need the services at the reception.

The location of this hotel is perfect. Room was clean, super tasty breakfast with Prosecco 👀🍾 also pool water was around 19 degree so perfect for the hot sunny day!
Our room was with garden view but we were also able to see the sea. I highly recommend to wake up before sunrise and watch the sunrise from the reception.

The breakfast had a great selection of food to choose from. Excellent location and a view of the pool.
For the cost of the room, I would expect there to have been coffee-making facilities. This was rented at an additional charge.

The hotel is well situated in Playa for access to the beach/dunes or either the Cita Centre (if that’s your thing) or a short stroll (approx 3.5 € by taxi) to the Yumbo. It’s location affords guests staying on 4th or 5th floors exceptional views over the dunes to the beautiful blue sea. The view & location cannot be bettered.
I have said the location is a plus, and in many respects it is. However the local area is no way near the top-notch location (& facilities) found in Meloneras. The boulevard/prom near the Santa Monica is tired and leads to one of the most decrepit ‘shopping’ areas - packed with cheap restaurants (where customers ‘select’ their choices by photograph… says it all!). And then there is the even more decrepit and totally seedy Cita Centre… a draw for an aged swinger crowd but little else. if you like being approached during your evening stroll by ‘fixers’ or women of the night… then the hotels location & proximity will suit.
The hotel itself is affectively designed in 2/2. The positioning of the larger wing provides much sunnier, balconies and rooms during the late summer months so if this is a consideration for you to make sure that you stay on the fifth or fourth floor in the larger or longer wing
The Wi-Fi is pretty poor in most areas of the hotel and should you be unfortunate enough to stay in 501 or 401 the in room Wi-Fi coverage is virtually non-existent and drops out repeatedly.
It is rare for us to stay at a hotel with half-board, but we actually found the selection and range of food at the Santa Monica to be quite pleasant. The service from the staff is very attentive, and by that I mean Swift really really Swift. Your dinner will be enjoyed in 45 minutes to an hour maximum.

Facilities and breakfast are marvelous.
Reception seems to have lost its friendly touch. When we arrived, they made a point that they were doing us a favour by granting our request for a 5th floor room. I felt cheap and embarrassed.
Later, they refused to help liaise with the taxi company from whom I had booked a taxi to the airport. Given that the arrival taxi had difficulty finding the hotel, I just wanted to check that all was OK. Reception just refused to assist .
I have suggested that they put strip lighting on the steps in the suites as I injured my toe such that I needed two stitches in the local medical centre. Return visits cost 100 Euros in taxi fares. Partner tripped down such steps last year, hurting ankle. Immediate first aid was non existent.
A friend staying there had issues with noise from the adjacent strip of bars etc. Immediately to the east of the hotel. He has filed a report to the management but is privately convinced that 0% will happen to improve things.

Staff, location and the room views.
Bathroom and the room isolation.

The hotel is located in a great area, with direct access to the sand dunes. It is also a good base to explore other areas of the island. There is a supermarket nearby which is convenient. Service staff were excellent and efficient throughout, and the hotel was kept very clean. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, with lots of choices including juices and cold cuts. The pool was of a good size and we enjoyed the chill out bar, where there were performances on certain nights. Overall standards were very high. In terms of the size and facilities of the hotel, it might not be as large as the all inclusive hotels but it is self sufficient and elegant and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The buffet dinner we tried for a night was below expectations as compared to the breakfast. Perhaps they could also introduce a poolside bar service system where guest could order drinks online and get it delivered to the sunbeds. The little playground is also due for an upgrade.
4.7
The Staff, The food, The facilities, The location, everything was top notch
The internet needs to be updated as it can get very poor. The TVs would need an upgrade so that you can use your own streaming services. The drinks seem to not have the same quality when made by different bartenders.
