The room was spacious and beautiful. Having a mini terrace was awesome for relaxing and hanging laundry as well. Also, the staff was incredibly kind and helpful.
The shower could’ve been cleaned a little bit more thoroughly as there were little bugs along the trim by the shower head
4.0
The location was very good.
The room was a bit dark and we could feel the high humidity in the room. Maybe because it was on the ground floor.

Location was good, clean room
Was billed as having balcony with view. Couldn't sit on Balcony and view was blocked by a tree! Utilizes facilities of Hotel next door as part of a "group" of hotels but charges to use the pool facilities (30 Euros per day per person).
5.0
The view, the staff (especially Ciara), the room itself, the location which was near to almost everything (ATM, bus stop, minimarket, beach, etc)
None! Everything was good

The area and the location was really good.
It had bugs or ants on the floor.
It smelled little bit humid in the room.

We had a great stay in Praiano. Predominantly we stayed here because we were attending a Wedding in the local church. Everything was perfect, the Reception staff were so helpful from booking taxis to a table for dinner - I cannot praise them enough. The staff at breakfast were also very helpful & friendly. I would always recommend staying here to anyone that is visiting the Amalfi Coast, it is a great find and we will definitely be back
There was not anything that we did not like
4.0
Very good location next to the bus stop. Bar del Sole is excellent next to the hotel.
Public transport is very difficult - buses are often full and do not stop at all. Taxis are extremely expensive. The hotel can also not help out, it is a problem of the region. You could here a lot of noise from the other rooms - for example when other guests shower or walk above. Old standard, not very spaceous. They could do much more out of the rooms with very little rennovation.

Location, friendliness of the staff a
A little bit chaotic (but this is Italy!)

The location of the property is fantastic, and the staff is extremely helpful.
When I booked under Superior Double room, there were 3-4 types of rooms, more or less with the same view and layout. When we arrived, we were told that Stella Marina is just a room rent facility, so we've been upgraded for a better view in the 4* hotel Tramonto D'Oro. I was a bit confused as Stella Marina seemed perfect for our needs. The room we were given was very small with a nice view but obstructed by the terrace roof underneath. The bed was very small and short.
Breakfast is Euro 20 per person, but the options given and the quality are nowhere near the amount requested.

The view was beautiful though not as nice as the photos. The room was clean and the housekeeping staff was great. Praiano is very small but has some fantastic restaurants.
The biggest problem was that Praiano has nothing in it but restaurants and the location (which is actually part of the Tromonto d'oro hotel) is far from everything on the very edge of town and is just really a small hotel room. To make matters worse, the entire area charges insane taxi fees (90 euros to take you to the next town 3km away) and the hotel adds fees on top of the taxi fees if they schedule it for you (and it near impossible to get a cab without them scheduling it). I felt like I was paying someone to hold me hostage.
We spent two days mostly in our room due to horrible rain as there is nothing indoors to do at all in Praiano.
The room was smaller than it appears in the ads. It was missing basics like a full length mirror and chairs (1 desk chair but no place else to sit, no furniture for the terrace if there had been room to put any). The shower was way smaller than it appeared in the Ad and the shower head would not allow for adjustment so it just shot against the back wall - had to hold it and use by hand. The terrace was nothing more than a place to stand as there was no room for anything on it. The bed was rock hard - and we like harder mattresses but this one was so hard we woke up sore.
The walk to the "beach" was 400 steps and the "beach" was a concrete slab with an overpriced restaurant next to it - no sand in sight.
Once we paid the ransom to take Taxi's to Amalfi and Ravello, we realized we picked the wrong hotel and the wrong location for our time on the Amalfi coast. Next time we will stay in Ravello.

very close to everything downtown Praino, 10 min bus to positano.

Possibly the best view in the Amalfi coast. The breakfast was exceptional and one of the best breakfast buffets of my life. The location is great and directly in front of bus stops to get to Amalfi, Positano and Sorrento.
Staying in Praiano limits transportation, but being away from the crowds of Positano, Sorrento and Amalfi is totally worth it.

The staff were super friendly and very helpful! The room was better than we expected from the photos and very clean and spacious. We loved the area it was in too, really relaxing and safe.
It’s really hard to find a fault but my only issues were there wasn’t two chairs in the room to sit on the balcony and we paid for a sea view but the trees in front of the room were overgrown so obstructed the view. These were really minor issues though, our stay was really good!

Good central location on the Amalfi coast. The rooms are clean overall. The staff was helpful and always smiling.
Not a lot of restaurants nearby because it’s not as big as Positano. Rooms have better view in the main hotel.

very nice stuff, location was perfect and the room was very big with a decent view
the bed was 2 single beds put together
4.0
The hotel is being managed by Tramonto d’oro property.
We received a very nice welcome. The lady from the front desk walked us to our bedroom which was 30m away from the entrance.
The bed room was modern, the bed super comfy, the view was nice as well. The bathroom was well equipped but slightly too small and we encountered a water pressure issue to which the facility reacted quickly.
Upon our arrival we were proposed lots of additional devices but all of them for an extra cost (breakfast, parking, lunch, dinner, access to the swimming pool,…) while the intention is good and it’s fair to pay for additional services the way it came across made it look more like if we were to not go for it we would miss out.

Really nice views from the rooms, clean and comfortable
Disappointed that use of the hotels swimming pool costs extra (not cheap may I add) for those staying in Casa Stella Marina rooms

staff were extremely helpful. perfect location situated along the amalfi coast. just 8 minutes drive from positano and other towns
the bed wasn’t particularly comfortable. additional fee to use swimming pool in main hotel

When you stay at Casa Stella Marina, the room is simple and comfortable, but the air con is great and it's the perfect place to rest your head for a cost effective stay on the Amalfi Coast.
You also can access the amazing facilities like breakfast and the pool (for a price) at their sister hotel Tramonto D'oro.
The breakfast at Tramonto D'Oro is amazing, with spectacular views to Positano, and the best omelette i've ever had.
All of the staff are wonderful, warm and welcoming, and if you have any queries, they are very helpful.
The shower needs some maintenance, and could be bigger, but otherwise everything was great.
4.0
The location was great, right at the start of Praiano and not too far from Positano. It was about a 15 minute cab ride to Positano. The view form the hotel was beautiful.
The hotel was a bit dated. The bathrooms frequently flooded in the shower due to odd placement and construction. other than that there was not mush to dislike the hotel was great.
