OK but won't be back

The grounds and terraces of the hotel are beautiful. The restaurant staff are very accommodating. The evening meal was delicious!

The welcome was not very warm - quite hostile, in fact! There is only 1 daily flight from our local airport which gets to Santander early... this appeared to upset the reception staff who basically told us to go away, not in so many words... they didn't explain the facilities of the hotel nor were we welcomed to use them while we waited. There were 2 private functions going on, on the day of arrival which seemed to take priority, so we weren't told about the restaurant or how to book into it... we were literally given a key and told what floor to go to... that was it. The room was not the one I expected, has no tea/coffee making facilities, and the bed was as hard as a rock but based on our welcome, I felt that I couldn't speak to staff about it. Some customer service training needed, perhaps, as we felt like we were an inconvenience instead of welcome paying guests

Buena ubicación, pero habitación pequeña para un hotel 4 estrellas

La ubicación y la amabilidad del personal. La terraza desde la que se veía el mar. Además, tiene un jardín muy agradable.

Para ser un hotel de 4 estrellas, la habitación doble que me dieron era muy pequeña y no se correspondía con la que aparecía un booking. También me sorprendió que no dieran artículos de aseo ni agua de bienvenida ni ningún tipo de regalo. No había hervidor de té en mi habitación, pero lo pedí en recepcion. Como sugerencia, podrían poner tés e infusiones de otra marca que esté mejor.

Enjoyable

The breakfast was good and the room excellent

The price of the car park for a motorcycle and the condescending attitude of the older man in spectacles on reception.

Pleasant

Location was excellent, so close to the beach. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was spotlessly clean and shower was great.

Unfortunately you couldn't hire beach towels. Hotel was really warm in communal areas which was a bit uncomfortable. Breakfast was pretty disappointing there were very few hot options. The staff were late to start breakfast for half 7 when we needed to leave early for our flight on the last day. Balcony could do with a table and a bit more privacy.

Great staff, great location but we won’t be returning to this hotel on my next visit to Santander.

The staff were fantastic, the location was brilliant and the lobby and garden areas were very spacious.

Unfortunately our room was not great.There were three of us in a room which was small and they allocated a tiny balcony which was even too small for one person.I think we should have been allocated the bigger balcony for our group number.The walls are paper thin.We could hear the tap, shower and toilet of the room next door.Also the laundry arrived very early on particular mornings and the trolleys created a lot of noise which woke us up.We opted for breakfast which I have to admit was very disappointing and we actually decided to forego breakfast one morning and eat out which was lovely.

Location great, excellent food and service.

The room was comfortable with a fine sea view. The hotels location away from the busy area of town suited our needs . The excellent bus service was a short walk from the hotel.

The time of evening dinner did not suite us (2000 -2230) .We would have preferred an earlier start time.

Nice room a little small - Good location and secure parking although free parking on street possible Set meal in restaurant excellent quality and value .

Fab place for a short break.

nice little break

very good near to beach easy to find meals in hotel excellent value amd good quality

there was a wedding on one day we was there which is ok but it would of been nice to be informed of this as there was lots of children running round very noisy causing havoc swinging of lights and furniture not very peaceful . tea and coffee making facilities would of been nice in room

Lovely view big balcony

The breakfast staff except Jesus should learn that the first person to breakfast and the last person are entitled to the same choice of breakfast. If I want to arrive at 10am for breakfast then I should have the same food as someone that is there at 7am as I have paid to have it.

nice, but not worth 4*, and pretty noisy

The room was clean, they allwed me early checkin at 12

At night it wsa noisy. I specifically asked for a quiet room in advance but somehow out of all the 60+rooms they had they put me next to a family with the crying baby. You can also hear when your neighbour takes a shower. No coffee/tea in the room.

Superb

Lovely hotel, with beautifully kept gardens, set in a very nice residential area just a couple of minutes walk to a stunning beach. All the staff were helpful and friendly. The room had a wonderful view of the sea and was immaculate.

The coffee served at breakfast was not great. It came out of a machine. Bit certainly did not detract from our stay.

Lovely Hotel for a few days away,steps away from the beach.

Lovely Hotel .We had a room with a large balcony and a beautiful seaview. Spotless rooms. Comfortable beds.Friendly staff on reception.Spacious seating in downstairs café. Evening meal good and waiters flexible with choices. Lovely wine..Outdoor seating. Quiet at night for sleeping.Good area around Hotel.Beach ,just steps away.Central location.Taxi 15 mins apx from the Airport.Hotel booked return Taxi,Relaxing Holiday. Hope to return.
