I recommend it to everyone who travels to Norway.

This is a great hotel halfway to Oslo. 24-hour reception desk. Luggage was conveniently unloaded. The best breakfast I've ever had in Norway. Price-quality ratio!

The weather did not allow getting to know the surroundings.

Amazing

Got the choice to choose the room and Window’s had amazing view. We got there after there dinner time but the lady in the kitchen was so helpful. She prepared very nice food for us.

Wonderful charming hotel. Full of character, friendly & warm.

Old hotel with lots of charm. It felt very family oriented which was nice. I think we may have been the only ones in the hotel as it’s out of season, which gave a little bit of a ‘The Shining’ feel - but in a good & fun way. we loved it!

The Smedsgarden hotel was finest country inn I have stayed at. The "cozy factor" was very high.

The breakfast was excellent because of the fine, nutritious foods I usually eat including fine coffee but also the warm, inviting and very cozy dining room. I could have taken 2 hours to eat breakfast.

The only thing that could have gone better was to not have to wait as long to meet the manager so that we could drop off our luggage. It meant that we could have arrived earlier at the local park which we were visiting.

Traditional hotel in a beautiful setting with a good breakfast.

Great location, super sweet host & good breakfast.

Our bed was kinda hard but the kid’s bunks were great.

Good for the value

Great morning breakfast and accommodating staff. Really convenient, right off the highway and a beautiful location.

Several surfaces were dirty but the bathroom was clean.
