Wer was günstiges in recht zentraler Lage sucht und den Verkehrslärm nicht stört der macht nix falsch

Es war günstig und Zentrumsnah, das Frühstück war sehr gut und das Housekeeping war sehr sehr freundlich , auch die Rezeption sehr freundlich.

Alles riecht nach Rauch, es gibt keine Nichtraucherzimmer. Es ist sehr laut da die Strasse stark befahren ist, auch Nachts daces ein Nachtclubviertel ist. Im Bereich Rezeption gab es einen Mitarbeiter (Manager ?) der sehr unfreundlich war

There is a bus stop near this hotel which is convenient. Supermarket just next to the place. Nice and polite staff

The room smelled like smoke. The smell was very strong and it was hard for us to sleep there. Bathroom is poorly quipped. Breakfast is also average.

Very clean; very comfortable bed; superior bed sheets and bathroom towels; good hot water; very good breakfast; 8 minute walk to metro. Good value; I highly recommend the Asal.

Fine enough for this price, I guess.

-Although they were small, the beds were comfy. -Great location, literally in the city center. -Private garage for the carpark was a big plus as it would be impossible to find a parking space on the streets.

-As mentioned in hotel’s profile in Booking, the beds were not one twin bed and one large bed. Instead, there were just two twin beds. We should have let known about this before. -Our friend was not let into our room. Not sure what the idea in staff’s mind was, but it was rude to our friend. She had to stay in the lobby before we come back to downstairs. - Some complimentary water bottles were already opened and was drunk by someone before. -The floors in the room were not clean.

I booked this hotel room for my mother, who had to stay in Ankara for a few days. She was provided with a large, clean room with a beautiful view of Haci Bayram. The staff went beyond their way to assist her as she was navigating the city.

Pleasant hotel but poor breakfast

The room was spacious and clean and the shower pressure was fantastic. It’s a shame there weren’t non-smoking room options, as the smell of cigarettes persisted. But this is a common issue in Turkey.

A small double bed and a single bed in the room is not ideal for a couple. I’m not sure why queen/king rooms aren’t an option? And why hotels allow smoking in enclosed rooms still mystifies me. The breakfast was abysmal. We arrived at 9:30 (breakfast goes until 11am on Sunday) and there were 2 empty coffee pots, no milk, no forks, and empty napkin holders. When I asked the girl at reception about more coffee at least, she offered Nescafé. If I wanted instant coffee, I could get that myself at the local store. Why aren’t the coffee pots refilled when there is still 1.5 hours left of breakfast service? I had to go find the kitchen ladies out back to get forks and napkins. The food offerings were also lacklustre.

The location is quite good, near museums. 10 minutes by walk to the old town. Very helpful staff, they helped us with any our request.

great sleep and value for money

The service team was really good. We were originally offered the newer rooms on the top floor (one single + one double), it was really clean and nice but we shifted to an older room on the 6th floor (2 singles + one double) which was showing obvious signs of wear and tear. There were noises from the outside but the bed was so good it knocked us out immediately and we had great sleep every night. it’s within walking distance to the old town, and taxi everywhere else was very affordable. It’s incredibly highly value for money.
