Innholdsrikt overnattingssted som er perfekt for familier med barn i alle aldre

Det er mye som er bra med Vesterland. Den lette tilgangen mellom parkeringsplass og inngangen til resepsjonen, badebasseng, lekeland og treningsrom etc. Har en tenåringssønn som trener mye på treningsstudio og han var veldig fornøyd med fasilitetene her. Vi fikk også god mottakelse når vi kom, med bl a smaking av aprikos dyrket i Lærdal.

Hotellrommet vi fikk var stort, inkludert badet, men savnet her en benk hvor vi kunne legge fra oss klærne. Det kunne også med fordel vært større plass rundt vasken til toalettmapper etc. Det var morsomt at badekaret har innebygget boblebad, men her burde det følge med noen synlige instruksjoner. Vi slet med å få skrudd av boblebadfunksjonen etter bruk, så vi opplevde flere runder med støy fra denne sent på kvelden og etter at vi hadde lagt oss.

Bon souvenir, notre lieu préféré du séjour au niveau de l’hébergement .

La cabane que nous avons beaucoup aimé et la piscine avec l’eau chaude . L’accueil au top.

Les bus qui arrivent tard et dérangent tout le camping.

Calm , Breakfast quite acceptable

The cabin needs a good renovation. We could hear the next doors' music as there are 4 cabins joined. Everything was dark , old and sad looking Not a lot of kitchen equipment. ( eg no toaster .) Not what I expected at all.

Come every year.

I come every year. Kid loves it and so do i ☺️ A full day of playing and swimming and at night a relaxing jacuzzi moment.

First time i tried the restaurant. Food was delicious and super dessert. Some more meals for kids would be nice.

Staff was over-the-top helpful, from the front desk to the restaurant. We were very impressed.

The pullout sofa bed was not entirely comfortable, but it was fine. I also had no other option due to proximity to an outlet to plug in my CPAP machine.

Clean, equipped, but dated lodge. Overpriced.

Clean and well equipped. Not far from Sogndal centre and ideal for our purpose for my son's football tournament in Kaupanger. Space for my car. I saw lots of groups of people in other lodges so it would be ideal for large parties who also want individual space.

Expensive for what it was. I imagine that the prices were inflated for the football tournament weekend. The lodge would benefit from being updated (e.g. old shower cubicle, dated interior, you have to hold the shower head otherwise it spins in all directions!)

Very clean cabin in a very pretty campsite surrounded by trees. Plenty of cooking equipment in the cabin also. I can’t comment on the hotel facilities as we didn’t use them.

Quaint cabins with cozy interiors in a great location for catching the Gudvangen ferry in the morning

Great location close to the glaciers

Spacious cabin, well equipped. In a good location. Helpfull staff. The pool was great, perfect after a cold day near the glaciers.

The beds weren't made in advance, but i gues we should have participated it might happen in a camp,. On other camps we stayd in norway they were made before we came

Nice hotel. Was better than I expected. Rooms were huge.

it was a good place for a stopover with children

we liked the warm pool and the play area for the kids… and the dinner was nice at the restaurant

Two family members had to sleep on a couch which was not comfortable at all

Great stay, family-oriented resort

Great indoor pool very well appointed and open until late, our daughter enjoyed it very much; additional attractions (at additional cost, that we didn’t try) including gym, golf etc. Lots of fun for the whole family.

Breakfast was mediocre at best.

The staff very thoughtful who went out of our way to make our time special.

We arrived late on the Sogndal plane from Oslo and caught the public transport bus directly from the Airport which stops opppsite the Hotel. As the sun never fully sets during summer, we then enjoyed a relaxing but stunning balcony view. The staff went out of their way to ensure our time with them went well, and provided us direction on making our holiday a success. The Hotel has a great deal to offer a family travelling in rural Western Norway, and would be a great ski lodge in Winter.
