Property was clean, Needed to contact host to get check in combination but communication was quick and efficient once host was contacted. Accommodations as stated clean and close to Killington and across the street from Pico mountain. Very simplistic accommodations. No frills. Bring your own soap and shampoo. Wood stove nice touch.

Easy access to Killington
This rental has easy access to the Killington ski area - Pico Mountain is almost directly across from the main road to the house. Killington is about a 10 minute drive, but very doable. The house is minimal, with bare essentials and some wear. Know this going in and you'll be fine. Great for a ski weekend when you really only need a warm place to sleep!

Great family ski weekend
The house was perfect for us. There was just enough room without feeling crowded, and the location can't be beat. I'd recommend this house, and I hope to stay there again.

location
I was there to hike and ski with friends it was perfect for what we wanted .The AT was down the street and the long trail was up the street both within walking distance. The pot and pans could use an upgrade. Second time here and would go again.

Comfortable, no-frills
The house is quite convenient and very close to Killington. However, the kitchen is very poorly equipped, especially if you are planning cook. So might be worthwhile bringing some pots if you are planning cooking. The house does not have washer/dryer, so need to make sure to bring enough clothes for the duration of the stay.

Nice place but you need more information
We had a great time ,the location is great for the MTS.and hiking trails .The only problem we had was what to do with our garbage.
The cans behind the house had wood in them and I did not want to leave it out for the animals. Not such a big deal I just dont like to leave it
out.

Best ever
The best vocation house I even know. And we will come back again for sure. The owner gave us such warm welcome that we couldn't resist.

Nice, Inexpensive place for the summer
Was pretty much as advertised. A clean two bedroom on the first floor of a two family in super quiet neighborhood across from Pico. Easy to get to Killington for everything during the summer and Rutland for all the basics. Place has what you need in the kitchen, a big front yard, porch, wifi, etc... no laundry, but Jax has beer and pool, so...Mike's a little hard to get in touch with, but nothing pressing ever occurred. The spot was a great place to spend a month and wind down at the end of summer.

Great stay!
Had a great couple nights here. Location very convenient to Killington. Nice place for a small group. Plenty of room for our group of 5. Kitchen probably could have used a little updating but definitely nothing that would deter me from staying here again. Overall a great place to stay!

NYE rental
The house was the perfect size for about 8 people. It was about 8-10 minutes to the bars(wobbly barn and pickle barrel) and the mountain. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, utensils, cups, etc.Bring papertowels/toilet paper. I would also maybe bring some extra pillows, blankets, and towels although they are supplied. Overall I would recommend staying here

New Year Rental
I stayed for New Years week/weekend and I could not have rented a better place. Everything was clean and well taken care of. There was plenty of sleeping space between the two bedrooms and the two futons in the living room. Pico is literally right accross the street and Killington is right up the road. Perfect location!
I'm not sure what the guy before me was saying, but he could not be more wrong. First of all the owner was in touch with me the whole time as needed. He also answered all my questions and couldn't be more courteous. There were absolutely no mouse droppings or signs of mice. The cable and wireless internet also worked fine.
I would rent again and would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay for Killington
This was an absolutely wonderful place to stay for a Killington ski trip. The condo hit all the essentials well: it was clean, warm, and had lots of dishware to make cooking a great breakfast before skiing easy. It's very convenient to Killington (it took us barely twenty minutes to reach), and when we weren't skiing, we enjoyed the great lighting that came in through the porch windows in the morning, and the numerous board games in the evening. As if that weren't enough, the owner was wonderful: he was *extremely* flexible and responsive working with us when we had the misfortune of scheduling our trip the same weekend as the blizzard.
I'd absolutely recommend this house as a place to stay for a Killington ski trip, and I'm very confident we'll be using it again ourselves, too.

Rent with caution
Pro's: Convenient to Pico (across the street) and 10 minutes to Killington.
Con's: Where to start? My first indication that there would be problems should have been the fact that there was no rental agreement to sign. I have rented houses up and down the east coast and was always required to sign a rental agreement. When I inquired about a rental agreement this is what I was told: "There is no official contract that I have you sign. It's a standard rental where as long as you don't wreck the place or steal anything I give your deposit back". Communication with the owner is difficult at best. Emails and phone calls go unanswered. A check was mailed for the rental and deposit and I heard nothing back from the owner, even after several emails and phone calls. After advising that I would stop payment he answered my email. Trying to get my security deposit back was a problem as well. The property is advertised as having wireless internet and satellite television. There is no internet (unless you count the neighbors) and the television gets about 8-10 stations. The bedroom TV doesn't work. The property is advertised as being recently renovated. I'm not sure if I would consider 5 or more years ago (probably closer to 10) as recent. Whoever does the cleaning needs to put a little more effort into it. There was mouse droppings on the kitchen counter under the toaster and in several of the kitchen drawers. This is a great property if your a group of twenty somethings looking for a weekend party house in the Killington area. If your an older couple with children and don"t appreciate aggravation look elsewhere.
