Breakfast was very good and the staff, especially Mave, were really friendly and helpful, including making recommendations and dinner enervations for us.

Very deluxe rooms in an ancient (but totally renovated) building; it was like living in your own castle. There were multiple spacious, luxurious common areas (inside and out) and a pool. There was a splendid spread for breakfast.
Parking is a problem. You have to use a public parking area. There are several that are just a few minutes' walk away, but they are very full if you arrive late (so we spent at least 15 minutes circling).

Helpful staff, nice location
The air conditioning in the house was in one bedroom only. It was quite musty with a bath only in one bedroom

The property is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at.
The rooms are large, well appointed, amazing facilities, yet quiet and boutique to provide personalised service.
Our experience was especially valuable when the team helped us changing our plans the night before the stay to accommodate for a family emergency and then revert it back when it got resolved. I didn’t really expect it but was amazed with the treatment we received, to say the least.
Cannot think of anything

The staff was very friendly and welcoming, always willing to help us and accommodate us. The room we stayed at was clean and very unique, and the balcony was nice. There was lots of variety for breakfast. The receptionists were very accommodating and welcoming.

Everything. The room was large and comfortable and I loved the terrace access. The location is perfect for walking around town, and the staff were really nice. Breakfast was excellent. I loved that there were robes in the room without having to request one.

Very well located, in the heart of the village. Beautiful place, perfect room, all you need. And the staff is very attentive.
Perfect!
No parking place. You have to park in a public parking lot nearby.
Sometimes it is full and hard to find a parking space.

Beautiful room, very spacious with an amazingly comfortable bed and pillows, lovely furnishings, a little kitchen area and tea and coffee making facilities. Nice breakfast and fantastic location right in the centre of town but very quiet at night. Very helpful and pleasant staff.
Very oddly, there was no door on either the bathroom or the toilet, could be embarrassing if you’re not with your partner!
The air conditioning didn’t work and although the staff tried to fix it they were unable to, as it was April we opened a window which was fine but May not be in the height of summer!
Unfortunately there was no sound insulation from the room above and the guests upstairs were constantly marching around from 6.25am which woke us up, perhaps underlay and carpet would help!

The hotel is in a great location just on the edge of the island, rather than in the centre which can be quite noisy. The building is beautiful and our room was stunning, really huge with probably the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in. We loved the little kitchen with a fridge and tea/coffee making, plus sofa and chairs. The bathroom was enormous and looked exactly like the photos. The breakfast was delicious, full of all the things you know you shouldn't really eat but can't help yourself! Plus some healthy options, fruit, yogurts etc. The staff are very helpful and we stored our bikes in the lovely little courtyard garden. There is a large car park 2 mins away and we got lucky getting a space, our trip coincided with the big antiques show over Easter so the town was packed. I think at other times outside the weekend it would be fine.
Nothing - was just perfect for us

Large size of the rooms and general, quite quirky, ambience. Staff were very helpful and accommodating.
Room layouts are odd (WC the other side of the large 2 room suite from the bathroom, for ex) and furnished quite strangely and uncomfortably. The chairs, especially, in the public rooms (including at breakfast)and guest rooms are absurdly low, thus uncomfortable. The breakfast is nice but there are not hot food options (we were there during the coldest months of the year!) and it is the same every day. The pool is more like a large hot tub and the ventilation when the doors are closed (again, this was winter) is very poor.

very tastefully renovated.

We had a suite and a double room. Both were very spacious and comfortable, and the service was excellent. It is an historic building very well renovated with a lot of charm, quiet, nicely located in the middle of the old town and within walking distance of the historic center and all restaurants and shops. At last, free parking is available within wlaking distance. Beds particularly comfortable
Our Bathroom was open, we tend to prefer closed ones - if you put the light on during the night, you can wake-up the person sleeping for instance.

Fantastic host, room, location. Will be back next year!

Great location, friendly host, abs fantastic breakfast
We had the zen room which wasn’t very zen. The toilet is in the room! Not cool.

Really nice place, managed by the owners who offer an excellent attention. The rooms are really big and comfortable.
Great breakfast in a beautiful garden.
The town is really good to stay, because it offers a great variety of restaurants and bars.
Definitely I recommend to stay here.

The location was perfect for all cafés, bars and shops. We ate our breakfast under the fig tree in the garden- beautiful. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts.

A large, beautiful 300 year old house that's been turned into a new hotel with a classic design. The young owners are very kind and the breakfast in the garden is delightful. It is like being guests in the home of a local.
