Lovely place in a great location.

It is a great location. A five minute walk to the centre of town. The staff were lovely and gave lots of information and advice. I liked the outdoor fire area. This area has a beautiful view. As long as it is not a total fire ban day they say that they light it every night at 6pm. It was lit earlier when I was there. The room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable with an electric blanket. The bathroom was well stocked and clean.

The place is lovely and my criticism only applies in the coldest part of winter when I was there. There was a terrible draft coming in from around the door. The heater was great but it was competing against an icy cold wintery draft. I ended up shoving newspaper in the vertical door cracks and the sofa blanket on the floor. That worked quite well. Really it needs a rubber seal or something around the entire door frame. However, as I said, this would only be an issue in the heart of winter. The bed had an electric blanket, too, so that will help you stay warm through the night.

Great location and facilities. Bright and modern units and great outdoor set up including huge fire pit. Friendly and hospitable owners. Highly recommended.

Great place with amazing views

The view out the back of the hotel is absolutely amazing, rooms are really nice and the owners were absolutely lovely and helpful.

The shower didn't have a lot of pressure but obviously not the end of the world and easily fixed. We will definitely be back next year!

Would recommend 👌

Very warm and welcoming staff. Gave us lots of information on the area, places to eat and the local lookouts and hike tracks. Beautiful views and the fire pit was great to be able to sit around. The rooms were very clean and had a wonder smell apon entry.

Relaxing and comfortable stay.

The room is clean and tidy and has all basic necessities for traveller. There is a firepit where we enjoyed roasting marsh mallows plus the view is scenic , just so perfect for a cold weather. Mountains, kangaroos and wallabies made it more a relaxing stay

We had a wonderful stay

We loved staying here. The room was excellent super clean and with everything you need. However, the highlight of the place is the deck area where you can sit by the fire and watch all the wildlife. They have two bbqs with all the equipment you need. The owner was so nice and friendly he gave us board games one of the nights, lit the fire every evening, gave us so many recommendations and left some chocolates in the room for us. Location wise couldn’t be any better. Walking distance to the town but far enough that we got to see all the animals and the views of the mountains. We will be back for sure

Great place to stay if you are going to Halls Gap

The room was very clean and comfy and had everything we needed for our short stay. The fire pit and wildlife were just like the photo's and the staff were great.

Perfect B&B stop over to enjoy Halls Gap. Plenty of parking and play area.

Such a beautiful view of the mountains and a nearby small billabong. lot of kangaroos to see in the morning during our small walk. The host was superb when we reached late. With a great big smile, she welcomed us and made sure our room was super warm and cozy on arrival.

It was only a one night stay..we should have booked for longer period to enjoy the place even more.

Overall, it has been a great stay.

Clean bedroom, bathroom and table with good lighting. The outside ambience is good facing the mountains with kangaroos and bon fire at night for guests use. friendly staff and room is very spacious with 3 pax.

The bathroom air is too cold. toilet flusher (half press) do not have sufficient power to flush the tissue down. shower hot water and cold water is not consistent with temperature flow. Just when you thought you adjusted to the correct temperature then it would change to either too hot or too cold. TV - most of the foxtel movies are old or need to pay. It would be better to have a smart tv with netflix app preloaded and guest can login to their own account like it does with other hotel stay.

A good overnight stay at halls gap

The bonfire and the free roaming animals were a hit. The electric blankets in the rooms were a nice touch as well. The rooms were alright sized for 3pax. Another 1 more pax would have been abit tight. Parking was easy, just in front of the room

Excellent Motel in lovely Halls Gap

The outside area was just amazing, perfect for sitting and watching the kangaroos. The BBQ worked a treat. Everything worked. Pretty basic but just what we wanted, and in a great location too.
