Comfortable, convenient, would book again

Great location Comfortable room

Not as clean as we would hope, passable but could be better Old HWS o and rubbish out the window spoiling the view of the bush land

Fulfilled what we needed just need to get the basics right

Location was excellent Bed was very comfortable Spacious room and lots of bench space

The freezer in the fridge was totally iced over... couldn't even open the door Drapes and curtains were torn and badly needed an update Toilet seat was very unstable Had 2 extra single beds in another room I didnt know about Very noisy next door kept us awake until 1pm the day before aI had to race at The Stawell Gift meeting... wasnt impressed

Property In need of some TLC .

Stayed here a number of years ago and the proximity of the accommodation to the town is excellent, so this was an attractive option .

The accommodation seemed to have the same decor and fittings from my original stay (2007). The grounds around the properties need a tidy up too

1980 decor in all it's glory, loved it!

A 1980's dream in impeccable condition. It is comfortable and clean and we had no issues. Also located in the middle of town. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. An old school country, motel in it's original condition, these are in short supply these days!

We were very happy with our stay. We will definitely stay there again. Very comfortable .

Location to shops and restaurants was brilliant. It was walking distance of all the restaurants. Laundry facilities were great. Large washing machine and dryer. Beds very comfy. Rooms were very warm, never felt cold.

Needed lights beside the single beds. The shower head was too low. The sound of the pipes was noisy , when other tenants turned the taps on.

location right in the heart of halls gap. large rooms. parking plenty of room and outside your door. kangaroos around at times. nearby food drinks within walking distance. heater aircon electric blankets. staff friendly and helpful. certainly would stay again in the future.

I could hear next door snoring, so not thick walls between. at least they were quiet during the evening and i had tv on. plus im not a light sleeper so didnt bother me.

Was too short, will definitely come back

we arrived quite late well past check in hours, they made everything accessible to get in easy and even had turned the heater on for us before we arrived. Good tv and lovely view.

Good location and would be ok for a family

Dated room with very average shower... both hot water and pressure. Property needs maintenance... gutters overflowing in the rain right outside unit door.

awesome place to stay in the Heart of Halls Gap

Passable

Reception was unattended at times it was announced as being open. Nobody answered the phone contact number given. Electric blanket on bed functioned on only one side. The other side had burned out. The proprietors would have known this, so why was it not replaced?

Overall the property is very clean and in a great location.

mould on taps in the bathroom the shower was only lukewarm windows filthy gardens very unappealing charge for room service/extra towels. ridiculous one dinghy doona on the bed unable to leave the heater on when leaving the room which made the room freezing when returning from being out. this is a VERY cold place! if u want to use wifi, you need to go to reception to ask for a password.

perfect for walkers and families

so close we could walk to all the restaurants the walking tracks were just across the road - however the room was quiet and very large with all amenties

Short but sweet.

In trying times caused by road accident blocking access to town, the lodge was great and very helpful. Bed super comfy In back room.

Facilities were dated but good. Bed and linen good. Bathroom was in good order and water hot.

The complex needs a little upkeep and maintenance. The paved paths were covered in gravel from driveway and this took dirt into rooms as you walk in. Potholes full of water in driveways needed filling.

Friendly check-in staff. Easy check-out, with key drop box outside reception. Excellent location.

Excellent location. Right in the heart of Halls Gap. Restaurants and cafes within 1min walk from the hotel. Spacious 2-bedroom unit. Tea and instant coffee and biscuits provided, along with biscuits. Small packets of milk in the fridge. Beds have electric blankets. Kangaroos in the spacious grounds of the hotel.

Although clean, comfortable and well appointed, the room was a little dated. The communal bbq area was out of order.

I was impressed with how clean and fresh the rooms were. Extremely close to the main street with a walk way straight through

Could hear talking from another room the entire night. Kept waking us throughout the night

Motel has a toaster, kettle and microwave. Hardly one minute walk to the shops which was good. Overall it was clean.

WiFi does not work. Had to use my data instead. Kitchenette does not include stove. Motel is pricier than others in the area.
