Beautiful facilities and property, stunning view, comfortable room, delicious breakfast, kind and helpful host family/ staff, 10 minute walk to the temple.
Nothing to write here- everything was lovely.
4.4
Beautiful view, good breakfast and decent rooms
Shower was ok and to access the place you need to drive on a really treacherous road although it is not really long.
4.4
Excellent value for money. Very friendly hosts and staff. And of course, a gorgeous view from the room to the rice terraces.

Simple and clean rooms, efficient bathroom and very nice view on the rice fields. 10 min walk from water palace. The family is friendly and ready to help. Food at diner was excellent.

This isolated homestay is perfect if you want to understand what was the tourism in Bali before the current mass tourism.
The place is nice, the view great and the people in charge friendly. I like it very much and I know Bali since 50 years !
The picture was made by myself from the terrace of the homestay (30.06.2023).

A warm welcome in one of the pretiest spots I've seen on bali: secluded, surrounded by nature with an amazing view of rice fields and mountainous temples in the distance. Gede and his family made us feel at home, and gave a authentic balinese experience!
No remarks! We would have paid more than double for this place

Stunning view and great nature sounds. it was so lovely to lay on the deck chair outside and enjoy it. Nice and friendly stuff. Really good bed.
it was not so easy to find the property and road there is broken. Kitchen was next to my house and noises disturbed me early in the morning.

A room with a little terrace and a view on ricefields. Close to the waterpalaca by a private shortcut (difficult to find an to walk though and the palace is not worth it).
The staff is unfriendly and acts strangely. They do not give you instructions or show you the room when you arrive. When they try to be nice to you, you absolutely feel that it is artificial and it is just uncomfortable as they are most of the time rude.
Nothing is close to the homestay. Even with a motorbike it is not quick to reach a restaurant or a shop. The restaurant of the homestay offers you a little selection of meals. The quality of the food is only okay.
The breakfast is just a joke. Unlovingly prepared they give you a really small meal. They also apply the service charge.
I am more than disappointed by the place and would never go there again.

Lush garden looking out at mountain and rice fields. Well maintained, with balconies. Went down back steps and walked along River to Water Palace.

The room was big and clean.
The terrace as a nice view on the rice field.
The staff is nice
The location is not good if you have no car or Motorbike because it's in the middle of nowhere so hard to get there.
The way to go to the water palace is in the jungle so steep and slippery and it's hard on the way back and not possible to do it nighttime because no lights.
The food is already expensive and they add taxes.

lovely little find, away from the tourists and into the local villages. had the most amazing view of the rice fields and some great attractions to see with a walk starting directly from the hotel. room was clean with a comfy bed

The very beautiful view on the rice fields and the mountains.
The owner was very helpful and the hotel is only a few minutes from the water palace.
The choise at the restaurant is quite limited.

Very nice family running the place. Excellent food. Spectacular view. Walking trail from the back entrance to Tirtaganga. Very peaceful.

Beautiful views and lovely friendly staff- accommodating, helpful, kind. Great location to explore Tirta Gangga and attend a cooking class at Bali Asli. The pool at the bottom of the hill was a magical experience!
the bathroom was a bit smelly (? plumbing problem)

It's in a beautiful setting, with glorious views. It's a small, friendly, family-run place, not easy to get in and out of, but that's part of its charm. What is easy, as long as you're reasonably agile, is climbing down 92 steps through the rainforest to a tiny road/path that runs along the top of the rice paddies and the mountain range beyond them. Alternatively, turn left around the gorgeous Taman Air (Water Garden) and you find yourself in the centre of village. Also easy is just sitting on your balcony, maybe with a drink and/or book in hand, or maybe chatting with other guests, and gazing out over the terraced rice fields and forest to those grand mountains.
The dogs of Bali could be friendlier. The Balinese could dispose of their rubbish at home rather than dropping it wherever. The local government could fix up the broken road, and the wet walking track around the Taman Air.
4.4
The amazing view.
The friendly staff always willing to help.
The very good food and price/quality ratio.
The homestay is super clean and lovely.
Water palace is accessible by a direct secret path in the jungle with a just 10mins walk.
The surrounding rice fields views along the road are breathtaking.
Some shampoo and hair dryer could be added.
As in many places, +3% will be added if you pay for the room by card.

Great homestay close to the Tirta Gangga palace. We went there on foot (10min walk) early in the morning and had the palace almost for ourselves. The walk to the palace through the rice fields is also really nice. The view from the homestay is amazing and the owners are very friendly and forthcoming. Highly recommend this place!
