I survived.
I booked a room in the hotel. I was allocated a pod. so felt cheated No bath. Poor parking. Sound of rain on the roof. Squirrels doing the moon-stomp on the roof when it wasn't raining. Not possible to sleep. The wet decking was so slippery I nearly broke my neck. Wifi signal too poor to use. TV signal was also too poor to be able watch anything.

Good location. Breakfast was good.
We stayed in a static caravan, which we weren’t expecting. Nevertheless it was clean and okay for a one night stay.
8.0
Location good.
Staff friendly.
Food good.
The doors of the hotel rooms were tricky to close and needed slamming to close. So whenever someone was going back to their room or leaving the room shook and was extremely loud.
8.0
Quiet, dark bedroom. Unique décor
Food was mediocre but quite expensive.
6.0
the big family sized room
bacon and sausage at breakfast overcooked - egg and tomato undercooked.
no cereal or juice on display - have to ask for everything.
tables sticky
no cleaning of the room if staying more than 1 night so you return to an unmade bed and no restocked tea/coffee etc

Very easy to find, the outside of the hotel was lovely and clean, the staff were warm and welcoming, the pirate themed room was very large and my son loved the bunk beds.
The tv’s in the bunk bed room didn’t work, I feel like that should be checked during the clean.

Independent lodge with microwave
Toilet blocked but cleared promptly

The hotel themed rooms are great. Great place for a family stay.

The location is great. With an asda just 5minutes away by car. Good full english breakfast for £5. Only instant coffee thought. No juice.
The room i was in did not have air conditioning. When the day is 30°C outside you need climatization. Opening a window is not an option since i was on ground floor. The furniture and decoration needs an update.the matress need to be change. I kept waking up at night and woke up woth sore back. The bathroom although big hasn't seen a deep clean in a while as there was gunk and mold on the floor, tile spacings and on the disabled shower chair. No handle to handle the sink so i couldnt drain it.

Very friendly staff
Booked a normal room but ended up in one of the themed rooms seemed to be a Princess room….didnt raise it with staff as i thought id just run with it.
I realise it is a family hotel but was frustrated by the amount of child noise ie running about, shouting screaming after 2200hrs…..parents fault not the hotel…….

I have stayed at Gullivers several times. The quality of the rooms has been variable, but this one was good. Very comfortable bed, spacious room and nice and clean. Sockets by the bed to plug in the phone too
The pillows are tiny!

The hospitality and kindness of the staff. The staff were amazing. We used the facilities fridge to keep our cooked food from home. They even helped us microwave our food daily. The staff were very accommodating and friendly.
