About this house rental

Location, Location, location!! Our 2 story Cape Cod home is directly on the Ocean! It is situated on the warmest waters of Cape Cod, directly on Nantucket Sound with private sandy beach and private deck. Awesome for swimming and water sports; Spectacular views. Two kayaks are also provided for free! This home has 4 bedrooms upstairs and full baths on both levels. Living room on the 1st floor has a cozy white leather sofa, 3 sliding glass doors--a glass wall that overlooks your very own private sandy beach and the ocean. Family room is equipped with cable flat screen TV, wifi, internet access. 1st floor also has a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, another full bathroom, and a den/spare room w/Queen Futon that will make your stay more enjoyable. Master bedroom upstairs also has cable flat screen TV. Gas grill for outdoor cooking. Fully equipped and furnished. A true gem to accommodate your family for an oceanfront vacation that you will treasure forever!
Most of our guests in the summer weeks have been returning each year for the past decade! Activities include swimming, sunbathing, shopping, the Cape Cod National Seashore, biking and hiking trails, antiques, fishing, boating, whale watching, golf, mini golf, inflatable water park, arcade,trampolines, go carts, kayaks, wave runners, parasailing, paddle boats, museums, and parks. Children will enjoy the ice cream truck driving by with bells ringing. Short stroll to restaurants, ice cream and playground. Loads of fun for all.

Within 1/2 mile of this beach house, down the mouth of the River, we also have a 4 bedroom house available for rent across from Parkers River with RiverViews and Private Dock with kayaks and stand up paddle boards included! The house was clean and spacious. Easy access to the private beach was a bonus with young children. The house was centrally located to all kinds of activities? We had a wonderful time and will definitely stay there again.

Really amazing experience. Beach all to yourselves and the house is super nice. In a great location with lots to do around. Hard to vacation with small kids in general but this house made going to the beach an easier process and had everything we needed! Will recommended to anyone and wont be our last time there!

Exactly as advertised. The location is cannot be beat - literally walk out onto the sand. Minor ant issue (it happens!) and it was handled promptly. Fantastic communication with the property owners, even on things that weren't specific to the house. Would absolutely love to stay here again!

It was a nice place right in the beach! Beautiful location! The only thing we had an issue with was the low ceilings..all our boys are 6 1 or taller..but we made it work and all had fun! Its centrally located by everything.we enjoyed! Thank you for letting us stay!

I booked this for my best friend’s 50th birthday and there wound up being 7 adults and three 10-12 year old kids and there was plenty of room and lots of fun to be had. We would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely beautiful home, as stated, right on the ocean. Stunning views. Double and twin beds were a little rough to sleep on. But no other complaints with the home. I would recommend to anyone looking for a Cape get away. Or even a weeks vacation. Thank you for sharing your home with us here on VRBO!!!!

The location of this house can't be beat. The backyard is the sand/ocean and it is a very easy drive to mini golf, restaurants, grocery store, ice cream, etc. Our kids loved playing in the sand. We stayed here with another family with toddlers as well. There was plenty of space for everyone. I will also note that the dishwasher drain stopped working, but the owners responded promptly and had the plumber out within hours and the dishwasher repair person out the next morning. It was very much appreciated and great service. Overall, we would stay here again, but there were a few cons. The carpeted floors are rough for a beach house. It was impossible to keep the sand out, so the floor always felt dirty. We did use the provided (very old) vacuum daily, but it didn't do much to get the sand up. The home could also use some updated/safer furnishings. The coffee table in the living room looks cute at first glance, however one touch from a toddler will show that it is actually just seashells on a table with a hula hoop over the top to supports a large piece of glass. We pushed it into the corner right away, but the babies kept crawling to it, and it was a hazard we had to watch the whole time. Overall, I would recommend this home. The location is amazing, and it made for a great vacation. The home could definitely use some upgrades, but we still had a wonderful time

The house is efficient. I had higher expectations of the quality of bed, blankets, pillows because of the nightly rate (we brought sheets as instructed) The spring beds are outdated and uncomfortable, they need to be replaced that’s just matter of fact. The downstairs space is comfortable, we had rainy weather on the full day we were there. It was great to be right on the beach, it is clean and quiet and the neighbors are very friendly. We liked the convenience of the kayaks and beach toys. We fully enjoyed the beach and the location there was a great restaurant 2 mins away- the skipper restaurant, highly recommend having a meal here.

We all had an amazing time even with the rain! Such a beautiful location. Dawn is very easy to work with and responsive. The house is great, nice and clean. The beach was gorgeous. Just a great find. I am hoping to rent again in the future!

My wife, 2-year old daughter and I had a wonderful time at this home. Dawn was very communicative and accommodating. The home and property exceeded our expectations. The house was delivered clean and well-provisioned. As instructed, we brought linens and basic cooking/ seasoning items and some paper toiletries. Everything else that we needed was there. Easy, off-street parking and loading/ unloading. The beach was perfect for us. We've never seen so many seashells, which was fun. We were there just after Labor Day, but the weather was perfect and the water was warm. Awesome snorkeling! 5-8 minute walk to Skipper Chowder house and ice cream, which was great and convenient. Also had an exceptional meal at The Pheasant in Dennis, about a 20 min drive. Overall an A+ Experience and direct oceanfront made the toddler component very easy!

Our entire stay there was a very pleasant experience - everything was exactly as mentioned in the website, clean and neat. Instructions from the owner was clear and helpful. I would highly recommend this to anyone seeking a relaxed on-the-beach rental.

The house is located right on the beautiful beach of South Yarmouth. We were pleasantly surprised by how clean it was, especially in light of its location on a sandy beach. Amenities are fairly basic, and bathrooms are not ideally located, yet, it is very homey and comfortable.

Restful family getaway in beautiful setting

This property was everything it was billed to be. It is right on the water, with a lovely little bit of beach suitable for sunbathing (on the 4 lounge chairs) or sand play (there were beach toys there). The sandy beach was clean and quite safe for our 2.5 year old granddaughter. We went fishing from the shore and used the 2 kayaks as well, took walks along the beach and along the rock jetty a short distance away. I also took some amazing dawn photos with the sun rising over the water. So for us, the beachfront location was the highlight! However, we should not sell the house itself short. It was extremely clean, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated with beach decor. The only drawback, since we were there in late August, was lack of A/C, and the bedrooms were hot at night. However, we soon realized that with the screened windows open, there was a nice cool breeze and the soothing sound of waves lapping the beach. Completely quiet otherwise. So after that, sleep was not a problem. Ditto downstairs, where the screened sliders that opened up onto the beach provided a nice cool breeze throughout the hotter part of the days. The area is great, a mix of quiet resorts and private cottages. There is a good family restaurant within easy walking distance, even for our toddler. There is also a dedicated parking area in front of the house. And finally, Dawn, the owner, was a very thoughtful and responsive host. Thanks, Dawn. Hope we can return next year!

The location of this property could not be better and the views are amazing! Our family of 6 had plenty of room in this comfortable Cape Cod beach house. The house was well equipped and the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. Dawn was very easy to communicate with prior and during our stay. The whole family had a wonderful stay!

Having the beach right outside our door was amazing. Plenty of room for everyone, too! The interior of the home could use a little TLC but we weren’t there to spend our time inside so that wasn’t a big issue for us although it may be for others. I would stay there again for sure!
