Staff was very friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was delicious and varied by day. Restaurant was always open and service-minded (even delivering to our room). Menu items reasonably priced. We loved the location, set a bit back from the main road, plenty of opportunity to take a walk in the 'villagey' surroundings.
Restaurant takes some time to prepare food. This is easily solved by ordering beforehand.

Jonathan at the front desk was exceptionally helpful. Happy and the other staff were so friendly and kind. The airport shuttle is very convenient too. The rooms are nice and are a great value. the grounds were beautiful and had a pool and a nice playground for the little ones to play at. The restaurant has good food, and the free breakfast was great...they even made us "to-go" box breakfasts for our 4:30 am shuttle departure to the airport!
The food took a little long at the restaurant...but we had a LOT of people in our group and obviously other guest were there also. Had a little trouble with the card readers come checkout time...but now I'm nitpicking...Not much we DIDN'T like. overall great, relaxing stay. Maybe a little far from the action downtown...but that also meant it was nice and quiet!

a pleasant surprise to find this neat and welcoming property in Arusha as such great value
The road to the hotel is not paved, quite rough and steep.

The property was nice though the access to the property is a bit rough! The restaurant offered reasonable choices for vegetarians though they take a long time to serve. The traditional Ugali dish was yummy. The front desk staff are very courteous and helpful.
The taste of the continental dishes could have been better.

Breakfast was super cool
Water was not coming from the shower. Poured from the main outlet

the room is spacious and the bed very comfy. the shower has warm water. staff is very nice. the pool is big and nice and you can even swim
the location is pretty bad. it’s rather outside of Arusha. you have to take a dust road nearly 1km which is incredibly bad. there’s nothing within walking distance.

It was very quiet

Friendly staff , good value for money , swimming pool , balcony and free breakfast.
Beds were too firm , room could do with a bit of TLC , menu needs to be labelled with vegetarian / Vegan options , WiFi wasn't amazing especially when in the room.

nice place, friendly people and very OK pricing
restaurant is boring, both in design and the food quality. (make a nice terrace outside in stead of a bunker)

The bed was really, really comfy! The bedding was spotless clean and the staff were very, very friendly and helpful. Even us arriving so late, they were ready to offer us welcoming drinks and show us to our lovely room!
The shower in the bath tub was not very comfortable, but we did make it work.

Enjoyed the food
Friendly staff - Has a taxi service
Quiet Hotel
Overall a nice stay

Staff are very cooperative.
Access to the hotel is very complicated and require some form of transport (Taxi or others). Far away to city centre.
It is not value for money.

it was the quietest hotel I’ve stayed at in Arusha. the gardens and monkeys were lovely. bed was really comfy and big!
I didn’t swim in pool because it looked cloudy and lots of bits in it!

I had a great stay at Mvuli Hotels Arusha. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the food in the restaurant was delicious. The bed was also incredibly comfortable!

High level, the Mvuli is a great place to stay, very helpful staff, grounds are nice, food is very good. As you look closer, there are lots that need fixing and polishing, but for the price, it's pretty worth it.
I have been traveling for work and need good wifi, the wifi here is not good but they were willing to bend over backwards to get me a temporary set up so I could work as needed with little to no delay. If you're just doing social, it's fine.

The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Nice terrace overlooking the pool. Great Breakfast

It is very quite place far from the rush city centre. It is save. Breakfast was good. Wifi was quite good to Arusha. Staff was nice. Accomodation was clean.
It is far from city centre.

The meh-looking restaurant served an unexpectedly good meal. The grounds are lovely. The pool was clean. The staff were nice and friendly and tried to be responsive, but were not well-trained.
The rooms were not in great condition - plumbing that didn't work properly, water leaking, loose door handles, doors that stuck. I asked for a driver to take us to the town to look for really nice beaded sandals, and the hotel sent us to a tourist-trap so-called "Masai" enclosed curio market with the same stuff you find anywhere in the country, but poor quality at inflated prices with aggressive shopkeepers - and almost no sandals! (I live in Tanzania, have been in markets all over the country, and this place was a uniquely unpleasant experience, with nowhere near the nicest crafts in Arusha). And it was poor advice not responding to the request or the customer. There was no creamer with the coffee in the room, which was not a good thing to find out at 5:45 am just before setting off on a safari to the Serengeti. And in the evening (after we came back from town) reception informed us that their credit card machine was not working, which meant scrambling around for cash. The evening before I informed the staff of our 6 am departure, but when I came down at 5:55 I found the entire place dark, nobody at reception, and that we were actually locked in the building. I had to wake up security (sitting outside) by pounding on the door, so that someone could unlock and let us out. Overall not a great experience.
