We only stay for a night but staff is very friendly, the room was big and comfortable, food in restaurant is good (better than a much fancier hotel we stay in later) and price is good.
Not a lot of shower pressure (which is an issue for me because of my hair) and the location is a bit noisy, but we were able to sleep just fine. We stayed in the 4th floor and there's no elevators. So people with mobility issues should request rooms in the first floor. We had a huge baggage with us because we were staying a long time in Tanzania and climbing Kilimanjaro which required hiking equipment and winter clothes. One of the staff insisted in carrying it all the way up there, and I was filling really guilty about it.

Staff were so supportive in many ways. The restaurant, breakfast and dinner were great! The a/c in our room worked well. View from our room patio. Pool looked good but we didn't use it.
We were on the 4th floor without an elevator.

Nothing.
Booked a triple deluxe room and was given a pokey twin room. Again with no wifi. Flyscreens were ripped and mosquitoes affected sleep. Bedding was not complete. The room was a disaster.

Rien. Conforme à la description faite.

Staff
Doors close loudly so you hear others coming and going early and late.

Friendly, helpful staff. Big bed.
Food a bit slow to arrive.

Spacious family suite at good price.
Noisy from street at night. Bad smell in bathroom. Unbelievely ineffective service in the restaurant at the dinner buffet. Had to ask for glasses maybe 10 times. A lot of food were empty and was not refilled.

Strong wifi
We stayed there before and after the safari and if I hadn't already paid we would never have returned! Our first room was a rooftop room for 4 people, but there were no pillows or bedside lamps for two of the beds and an unfinished kitchen and shabby furniture. But most of all, there was so much noise from the street - even though we were on the 4th floor - that we couldn't sleep. The windows could not close completely. Therefore, we emphatically asked for quiet rooms for the next night, which they promised us. We got two rooms, one of which was just below the rooftop room and with the same noise due to bad windows. In addition, a continuous noise from a machine from the hotel itself, noisy from 01 am to 06 am. The second room we got was completely without windows, but here too we could hear the noise from the hotel machine (perhaps the aircom system) so much that we couldn't sleep here either. When we complained to the reception, they promised to turn off the machine but it didn't happen. In addition, these rooms also had shabby furniture and electrical cords hanging from the wall. The breakfast was far from home-made, and when we ate in the hotel's restaurant on the last evening, my adult son became ill from their signature burger. First and only time one of us got sick from food on our 14 day trip in Tanzania.
Overall. Find another hotel.

Superb breakfast

Hotel was basic but met expectations. Room was a bit barebones but clean. Shower functioned well.
Breakfast was adequate - nothing special.
For a one night stay in transit it served its purpose. Clean and reasonably priced.
Location was somewhat obscure. Not in a particularly good area, although Arusha in general does not appear to be a high end destination. It's mainly a starting point for safaris.

Staff are helpful. Location is good

The staff were so friendly and welcoming. They knew we were coming late so the kitchen stayed open for us. The breakfast was great with lots of options and the chef made some of the best food I’ve had in Africa . They also had espresso available in the breakfast area. All the kitchen staff were attentive and friendly. They were even able to make us lunches to go for our safari. I would love to stay here again on our next trip to Tanzania.

The service!! we liked everything, but the service especially was amazing! The staff are so kind, helpful and funny! We felt very taken care of and prioritized! We really enjoyed our stay :)
The wifi is a bit difficult, because we have to log on everytime which makes it hard when you’re waiting for a message etc. Otherwise no complaints!

Had an amazing rooftop room with a great view, was very cozy and the staff was always attentive and kind. Also very good that the restaurant is open 24 hours and offers room service. Breakfast buffet was always excellent and varied.
I can only recommend this Hotel.

The staff were excellent. Friendly and helpful. Mousse was so attentive to our needs.
The food in the restaurant was good.
The rooms are dated. Noisy. Before our safari, the room we had was facing the main roads, and the noise from traffic went on for most of night. Post safari, the noise from the radiator went on for hours. There was no air-conditioning.

We stayed at Green Mountain the first night after arrival to Arusha and liked it so much that we booked it also for last two nights.
Both rooms we had were spacious and clean, and there was a cleaning service doing our beds everyday (which we didn't expect). Green Mountain has also a very friendly and talkative staff (warm greetings to Bahati Nzuri "Good Luck") and they serve an exceptional huge breakfast - we loved it!
The hotel's restaurant serves fresh local food - we tried chicken in peanut sauce, chipsi Mayai, and tilapia fish in coconut sauce. It's worth it to be patient and wait around 30 minutes for each of the delicious dishes (waiting for food in Tanzania is a standard as everything is being prepared fresh).
Next to the hotel is a gas station where you can easily get a boda-boda, bajaji or dala-dala to the center. You can also find a minimarket next door and a fruit stand just on the opposite side of the road.
Nothing. Everything was perfect!
