It was cozy, well equipped, clean and tidy, like home from home and would definitely return
The bathroom was lacking extra toilet paper, there weren't extra ogs or Pete like stated in the manual but we purchased our own to see us through, the house was booked for 4 guests

I liked the attention to detail. Annette has created a home-from-home feeling. The house is warm and welcoming. The fresh bed linen & towels. The little thoughtful things like fresh bread and biscuits, teabags, milk and butter in the fridge. The fire sitting ready to light up, and the bucket filled with turf. The smell of turf just brings back great memories of Donegal. On the last day, I sat in the front porch drinking tea and listening to the sound of birds, the trickle of the stream beside the house and the distant bleating of sheep. So peaceful and beautiful - a real magical sort of place.
I didn't want to leave - wish we could have stayed longer.

Lovely cottage - just what we wanted and expected. Very clean. Milk, tea and biscuits left and the host was very lovely - would stay again 😊
Little improvements would be: a new mattress in the small room - very squeaky! More loo roll and easy light fire logs would have been good. Wifi would be a bonus too. But overall, really enjoyed the stay.

Bridge House is a lovely old house just a few km away from the town of Glenties ( the town where Meryl Street and the actors stayed when they were filming Dancing at Lughnasagh) The house has been modernised tastefully and has a dishwasher and washing machine in the kitchen (and a clothes line out back) . There are two TVs which is very handy at times too. We brought our dogs and there is a hilly back garden which was a great bonus for them to have a run around. It is located beside an old National School and you can hear a stream running freely beside the garden also. There is plenty of turf available for the two fires. Altogether it is very cosy and relaxing. Annette is very friendly and dropped by twice to see us. She left us tea, coffee, milk, bread and biscuits for our arrival. . We had access to the shed where we were able to deposit our bottles, cans etc in the boxes provided which is a very environmentally friendly option to have. Bridge House is a great base for exploring the region and the Wild Atlantic Way. Lots of places of interest around and stunning views.
We arrived late in the evening. We took a left at the church in Ballybofey for the shorter route to Glenties. We would have been better to take a right there, as the road is a lot better. There was a heavy mist on the road in the dark and we had to drive very slowly as a result.

Annette was very nice and helpful with anything we needed. The house is lovely, located just outside of Glenties in a beautiful area with nice walks around it. There is turf left to make a fire which was a nice touch. Its great value for money I couldn't recommend this place enough.

Bridge house was like a little piece of heaven for us waking to the sounds of the lambs and the cuckoo. Annette the owner is kind helpful and friendly without being obtrusive and the attention to detail in the house is exceptional. We loved it and will be back.

Really nice area old home with lots of charm., plenty of space and extremely clean. Would not hesitate to recommend unless you are trying to book for the same time as our next visit.
The kids would have liked Internet access but part of the charm is not being connected. If your happy with that this is the place for you.
