Absolutely Fantastic

The location is perfect. Steps outside the entrance to city wall, but far enough away to avoid the crowds and noise. Breathtaking view from the top floor apartment. Spacious and very clean. Nicely decorated. The owners were available and very attentive. (Lots of stairs to get there, so don’t bring a ton of luggage. Dubrovnik is a city of many stairs.)

If we come back as a family this will be where we stay

The location is spectacular. Slightly elevated from the hubbub of the roads a city level and so it was quiet, with great views. But it is only 5 mins from the old city. It is very well decorated, spacious and all beds and chairs were really comfy. The hostess was very accommodating and responded to a few messages we sent really quickly.

Dishwasher was broken whilst we were there which was a little inconvenient. This wasn’t a big problem for us and I am sure our host would have had it fixed we’re it important to us.

Great location and property

It was a great space for our family of four, plenty of room and and everything we needed was provided. It was very clean and well presented. The view is amazing and very close to the old town. We would highly recommend!

Lovely place with Old Town a short walk away and a you feel very welcome.

Location is perfect for exploring Dubrovnik and the areas around. Short walking distanse to Old Town, bus, taxi and boat. Which can take you to local island Lokrum or beaches near by. It is an amazing brick villa with a lovely garden. The rooms are of very good size, there are places to store your things and you can not miss all the nice details of the decorations and furnishing.

There is nothing to dislike, really. We came back for our second stay in Villa Ani!

Exceptional

Location. Location. Location!! This apartment is in an ideal location with brilliant views over Pile Gate, the old town and Lovrijenac Fort, from the French windows or out on the south facing terrace you can enjoy a fantastic vista. A 2-3 minute walk takes you down to the entrance of the old town at Pile Gate, this same area is where the local bus service operates and many of the tour companies start from this spot, there are several small supermarkets within the same "square" so all in all a great location to base your stay in Dubrovnik. You can be swimming below the "Red Fort" within 5 minutes. Whilst being so close to the heart of the town the apartment is a tranquil, quiet & peaceful sanctuary. The terrace catches the sun all day and again allows for views down to the sea, there are trees and bushes for shade, read, drink or catch some rays. The main house is over 200 years old and exudes charm and an authentic style - the painted ceilings in the entrance hall, the terrazzo floor in the lobby and marble steps allow you to think back on the history of the house and who originally lived there. The apartment is very bright, airy (high ceilings with exposed beams) and is spotlessly clean, we have stayed in many apartments across Europe for over 25 years and this is by far the best. Decorated in a fantastical nautical theme with every need catered for this is definitely an apartment that you should not overlook, if it is available - book it!! During our stay in Dubrovnik we took a walk and looked at other places we nearly booked and were so glad we picked this one. Finally, our host, Ani. Ani is a perfect host, warm, friendly and any queries before we booked were answered very quickly. Ani also checked in during our stay to see if we needed anything such as towels, she arranged our airport taxis, met us on arrival & departure and had a lovely welcome gift as well. She also gave us very good suggestions on restaurants.

Fantastic for exploring Dubrovnik .

Stunning property , excellent location right near the gates of the old town. Clean,spacious and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed and more. Our host Ani even welcomed us with cold drinks on arrival after travelling all day. Host Ani also helped us to organise airport and ferry transfers- this was so helpful.

A few steps to get to the front door but Ani and her friend even offered to help with bags so it was not an issue.

We loved our stay in Villa Ani. Great place for visiting Dubrovnik, just outside the city walls. Apartment is very comfortable, kitchen complete. Host is perfect in making you acquainted with the city.

Exceptional

Lovely spacious two bedroom apartment. Clean with beautiful views. Apartment well stocked for everything you need. Location is perfect - just at gate of old town, so you don't get the noise but at the same time not far from old town. Very easy check in and accommodating host.

Superb place with an excellent view

The location was excellent. The place was right near the entrance to the old town and had phenomenal views of the walls, fort and the sea. Easy access to wonderful restaurants, super market, banks and bus and taxi stations. Ani is an excellent host and she was super helpful during the entire stay with information on places to go and other suggestions. Would strongly recommend Ani's apartment to anyone visiting Dubrovnik.

Gorgeous, spacious apartment in the perfect location to enjoy Dubrovnik from.

The apartment is steps away from the old town so you have all the conveniences, but more space and a fabulous view. It is in an old house up some old steps so you feel like you are in part of the history of Dubrovnik. The apartment is very spacious and tastefully decorated. The view from the terrace of Dubrovnik is as good as it gets and the perfect place to sip coffee from in the morning, or a glass of wine in the evening. Ani is amazing. The perfect host - helpful and so knowledgeable - I would recommend listening to her advice!

We had a really nice stay in Dubrovnik. The apartment is in an excellent location. View from window is amazing. host was really friendly and apartment very nicely decorated.

A kettle will be more convenient for making hot drinks 😄
