Really good breakfast and comfortable beds. Nice terrace. Very helpful staff.
You shall know that there are a lot of stairs inside this property and also to get there. Can be difficult for elder people.

The road was a five minute walk from where we were dropped off, and well positioned in the centre of the bustling Medina. Breakfast wasn’t included in our booking, but we paid 6Euro each for a very filling and satisfactory buffet, served in the ground floor area.
The host met us at our car when we arrived, as our driver had phoned the riad just before we arrived.
I’d happily stay here again, if I returned.
There were stairs to be climbed to our room, but that would only be an issue for the elderly or handicapped.

La situació perfecta, a la zona més bonica de la ciutat, la Kashba. El tracte humà molt bó. L’esmorzar tipus bufet molt àmpli, de qualitat i excepcional.
Els llits molt còmodes.
Res a dir. Només avisar que per arribar-hi tens moltes escales que poden ser pesades amb la maleta.

Breakfast is AMAZING on the rooftop wow, and great food.
Room was so tiny that you hit the bed on the way in. But bathroom was spacious.

Perfect location for visiting all the sites. The staff were brilliant, very friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Delicious breakfasts! Thank you so much to Lorraine for the advice and organising our day trip and Muhammad for spending so much time explaining everything we needed to know to make our time in Tangier so memorable.

The location inside the Medina is high on a hill and from the room we stayed in on the 3rd floor, had a nice view (which can also be enjoyed on the terrace) and the hotel is just up a set of stairs from the one of the main streets. There’s a lot of natural wind so it felt fresh.

Great location. Very clean and friendly staff. Family run.
Only place in Morocco that I stayed that didn’t include breakfast. Very small room with limited windows. Fine for 1 person but would have been uncomfortable for 2.

the staff is very helpful Badr, Mohammed, and Matthew were always smiling and helping. the room, No 5 was very comfortable. good shower, comfortable bed, clean, white sheets. Great view from private terrace
there are many steps up from the Medina. we are in our 70’s and it was strenuous. don’t let that deter you. this hotel is worth it

It was a great location and the staff were wonderful! Breakfast on the terrace was lovely, as despite the rain, the awnings and decking allowed us to still enjoy the view!

The room and common areas are really lovely and very comfortable. The bed was soft compared to many we have slept in on our trip. Our room was probably the smallest one at Kasbah Rose (we’re travelling on a budget) but still very comfortable and manageable. The shower was pretty close to the best we have had in 2 weeks so far in Morocco. Mohammed was very welcoming, and it was nice to meet and chat with Lorraine, the owner, in the morning. Kudos to the team - we appreciate their hard work. Breakfast was nice, and set us up for our journey to Rabat. A great spot from which to explore the old Medina of Tangier.
Out of their control, but the kids playing soccer out in the lane outside our window at about 11pm at night meant it took quite a while to get to sleep. I’m also adverse to light in the room at night (a foible of my own) and the streetlight was super bright with the drape only blocking some light. Some small windows don’t have coverings. We got up and turned out the stairwell light about midnight as that light came into the room through a small internal window (we had turned it off after use when we visited the terrace earlier in the evening but I guess other patrons had switched on, of course not realising it would shine into rooms). Once I got to sleep though I was fine - I guess most people just go to bed and go to sleep!

Fantastic opportunity to get the Tanger Medina and Kasbar experience - great location. Breakfast was great but was an extra expense.
The manager, Mohummad was very helpful, organising our laundry and got us a great taxi driver to Chefchewen.
All the other staff were great!
Breakfast was great but was an extra expense.

The owner was very friendly and attentive to our needs. We had an early check out (4am) to get to the airport. He woke early to provide us with coffee and muffins. The room makes for a romantic setting when the sun goes down as it overlooks the city.

The place is beautifully decorated and the room bathroom is wonderful. Nice terrace on top with great views where to have a complete breakfast.

The room was very cold despite the small electric heating system

The taxi driver that was arranged for us to be picked up from the bus and then dropped off at the train the next morning was excellent. He was so kind and helpful and we really felt cared for.
Bed was hard (not unusual for morrocco), hallway light was on and glaring into our room all night, heating was a small radiator panel that was ineffective, and overall the room felt more like a tiny private hostel room than a room at a guest house we paid $100 a night for. We stayed in larger rooms with better amenities and nicer decor in both Fes and Marrakech for cheaper. Most unfortunate was the evening manager who greeted us. Tangier was just a dinner and overnight destination for us between Chefchauen and Casablanca as we were heading home, so we arrived in the evening and had to leave very early the next day. We had questions about the train and transportation and the manager told us that he's "just here for the evening", "doesnt speak english very well," and its "not his job" to help us with questions about the train. He did try to help us though, and ended up calling our taxi driver who was able to provide us with helpful info. When we told the evening manager that we were needing to leave at 6:30am the next morning, he laughed at us and said "why would you waste your money to stay here and not even see Tangier?" and after that comment and our expereince, we did indeed feel like it had been a waste of money to stay at the Kasbah Rose.
