Bar owners were very helpful on arrival, sorted one particular booking problem...helpful and friendly.
|All was good with our stay.
3.0 / 10.0
Clean bed & bathroom
No staff at the property
Huge gap under room door atleast 2 inches had to
Stuff bottom of door to block light
Windows were screwed shut
Tv was angled towards the ceiling and couldn’t be moved.
Pictures and information don’t do bar and food facilities justice. It was shocking and filthy. Hardly ever open or welcoming. No taxi numbers fast food information nothing to be found at the hotel

It was nice we could share a room.
It was clean.
Nice shower.
Nice location to the sea.
The beds were uncomfortable.
As you entered the property the hallway was full of flies.
The bathroom had no where to hang anything, or put anything. No shelves or anywhere to hang towels (when there are 4 of you this was tricky, what to do with all the wet towels?).
The only mirror aside from in the bathroom was a small round one in the bedroom, but is positioned so high I couldn't see in it. So no where to get ready and do hair and make up.
The room is very basic.

We had a very nice stay here. Our sea view room with the four poster bed was great. Lovely staff and easy access into the town. Parking on the road side and if this is not avaliable then a pay and display opposite at reasonable prices.
7.0 / 10.0
It was close to the beach.
I think this place is coming to an end? Needs a lot of work to bring it up to scratch, the beds looked like prison beds, it is on the edge of a rough estate, I had no code to get in, it was poor value, very expensive. Broken dirty window and hadn't been vacuumed very well.

Very close to the beach and Welsh Coastal Path. Lovely, comfy bed. Kettle, shower, hot water, towels etc all fine.
Place felt a bit faded.
Details like nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom, very thin curtains.
WiFi intermittent.

Very comfortable room with all the key things needed.

The room I was assigned to initially had some problems, but as soon as I made the owner aware of this, he upgraded me to a far better room, where I was very comfortable. It was spacious and clean. The shower was fine and the bed was comfortable.
The first room I was in didn't have a mirror and it was on a different level to the shared bathroom, so not very convenient.

Room was a good size.
We stayed Saturday and Sunday night. The music and noise from the bar was very loud until late on Saturday night. We didn’t meet any member of staff. Decor was very dated.
5.0 / 10.0
Clean specious room.. near to the beach.
Relaxed check out
I booked sea view.. the room was not.
Uncomfortable mattress and bed, no soap in bathrooms, no towels, no hair dryer & no iron.
Loud music and noise from pub in the basement floor till 11pm (not mentioned on the description!)

The stuff was very responsive. Answered my phone call after midnight and our problem was solved in the morning.
There were no towels in our room. WI-FI is weak in the attic room.

Location handy to town and able to park very close by to hotel.
Easy Check-in
Room clean and warm. Tea and coffee making facilities
Bed not very comfy
Can't give a rating for staff as didn't see anyone

A cold room

Room adequate and clean. Cannot comment on breakfast, as not currently available.
Not a problem, very short walk to decent restaurant
3.0 / 10.0
The bed was comfy and the room was clean.
The window to our bedroom was faulty which meant we were kept up all night with a horrible rattling noise. I later had to stuff tissue into the window frame to try and stop the noise. I think we got about 2 hours sleep!

The location wasnt 2 bad short walk to the main town.
The rooms are above a pub which i new about when booking but thought it was just like a bar. On entrance the stairs were poorly lit and had a flashing bulb so couldn't see the top steps. The room was very basic. The bathroom door didnt close and the light didnt work so had use the loo in the dark. Also sink was tiny so I couldn't fill the kettle up . Only normal tea and coffee no decaf. Felt like it was a bail hostel. The night the bar opened was loud music till late.£90 a night is unbelievable for such a worn out place.

This was a room only booking (similar to Air BnB) in what was a Pub/Hotel. Breakfast was not available but that suited us as we were doing an event on day 1 in Abersoch with an early start and day 2 we had a nice walk on the beach before having breakfast at Weatherspoons just down the road. The hotel bar was closed and there was no food other than tea/coffee in the room which was plentiful and replenished after day 1. The room had recently been fully refurbished and was clean, comfortable and spacious enough for us and our bikes. Overall we had a nice relaxed stay in a set up which complemented our event. It was also a lot cheaper than most other accommodation in the area which was extortionate so all in all decent value for the money.
Bar might have been good but as a consequence it could have been noisy, as it was it was very quiet and peaceful. Room was on top floor with narrow stairs so getting our luggage and bikes up and down was a challenge. I'm sure however we could have stored the bikes in one of the unused ground floor rooms if we'd asked.

Room very clean
Great location next to the beach
Easy check in
Noise from pub downstairs
Sick all over pavement at entrance
Strong smell in the room like dog or sick being disguised with strong air freshener
Couldn't fill the kettle as the sink was so small
5.0 / 10.0
Our room was clean and tidy if somewhat sparse.
This hotel is not what i would describe as holiday accommodation more residential for people local to the area, when we arrived on a Sunday evening there did not seem to be any staff there ,the one person i spoke to on the phone was pleasant and helpful, unfortunately the main road from town was closed which was very inconvenient and one felt isolated in an area that seemed to have no shops or any where to get a meal or a drink,"hotel bar and restaurant both closed "we suffered no unpleasantries but i would not return to stay here again. We never met any member of staff during our stay./

Location was good!
This is not a 3* hotel! No-one living on site and fire door left open! As a single lady I felt frightened and unsafe by the constant coming and goings of other people staying there!

Bed OK.
There needs to be a notice on the 'touch-sensitive' bedside lamp. The first time I touched it, it gave a bright flash and went out, and I assumed the bulb had blown.
Miniscule wash basin, with no plug.

The bed was comfortable
The shower tray would not drain, loss tap on basin, old fashioned Tv and bar and restaurant was closed only found out on the day of check in wasn’t told at time of booking
10.0 / 10.0
Easy to follow text messages how to enter ( with codes) building, Lovely large bedroom ,with housekeeping topping up tea, coffee etc, even managed to fix a broken light, on a August bank holiday ' fantastic ' and a few unpleasant guests,
Will definitely book again
Only down side is the steep stairs, but if I can manage with a lung condition anyone can

Good location, VERY comfy beds! Room wasn’t completely clean (a long black hair stuck to the wall in the bathroom and bits of food on the floor). Location was ok, near a really nice beach, and about 30 minutes from the main touristy areas.
Restaurant not open and dirt in rooms.
3.0 / 10.0
Close to the beach and walking distance to the town.
Bed linen and towels were clean.
It was very over priced for what we got.
We were only informed that the bar/restaurant was closed the day before we were due to check in.
The room was not clean (dust in all areas), the furniture old and mismatched, lots of things broken, the beds old and very uncomfortable and we could hear people snoring, talking and showering in all the rooms around us.
Overall I would say this accommodation requires a major update/renovation.

The ovation, parking and room was good
The noise from other rooms not great, but the worst thing was the frequent smell of cigarettes through you building and even worse the smell of what was only described as weed/ marijuana !!
For that reason, unfortunately would recommend it. :0(

Nil
No reception, no brake fast. Runs on self check in and check out. No fan in room in summer time.
