Miles was so kind to work with. He provided us with breakfast and coffee despite us having extremely early departure times each morning we were there and made us feel very welcome! We did not spend much time at the hotel because of the activities around Quito that we had planned but it looks like a lovely place to be able to relax and enjoy the serene scenery in the hotel complete with relaxing jazz music that we heard playing in the main area.

It is a beautiful unique boutique property, very tastefully restored in style with quality furnishings and which blended well with the surroundings, the rooms wowed us . The owner was very friendly and accommodating.
Nothing, but it was a bit noisy due to being near a busy night life area

Beautiful hotel -great breakfast
A little noisy, but it is in a large city

Staying here was like staying in a high-end French accommodation. The decor was exceptional, the room was more of a suite than a room and the owner was onsite virtually full time.
4.7
The decor and vibe was so chic and adorable and elegant. The staff was so helpful and accommodated our unexpected late arrival and helped with our post amazon experience laundry very promptly. Great quiet location as well and good spacious room.
4.7
Unique / historic property with various areas to relax in - great location close to a recovering (post COVID) Mariscal area and with many other sites walkable. Tasty freshly prepared breakfast - something different every day. Friendly owner - great staff.
Traffic noise during the night - you do get earplugs which is great and we haven’t stayed anywhere quiet in Ecuador…

The room was relatively quiet and nice. It's a historical hotel newly renovated, so the beds and floorboards creak. The remodel looked nice though, combining a modern and historical atmosphere into one. The hotel was overall cute, and the staff were pleasant and accommodating. We had a couple of early day tours and needed an early check out time. They were readily available at all times of the day, and they worked hard to make sure we had a satisfying stay. The room was clean, and it had plenty of hot water, place to hang our wetsuits. Neighborhood felt reasonably safe, and it was a couple blocks away from several fast food restaurants and other local restaurants including the popular night club plaza. Overall, it was a pleasant place to stay.
We felt neutral on the location. Breakfast was very limited. We had a small muffin, yogurt, juice, and coffee. We also had some awkward conversations with the host including some political commentary that we did not care for. For the most part he was pleasant, it was just near the end of our stay. We had also originally booked the suite, and the host knocked off the credit card fee at the end for downgrading our room due to a hotel guest that kept extending their stay in the suite. The other room was fine. Walls seem thin in Ecuador, so there was some street noise, but perfectly manageable.

The host is very welcoming. They always willing to help. The breakfast here is very good. Staying here is like to stay in a host family, they gave suggestions for travelers, and help them to feel like home.
The location of the hotel is kinda far from the old town Quito, but here is very quiet throughout the day. Here is safe to stay also, they have a lot of cameras and a front gate.

We loved literally everything! We received such a the warm welcome from the owner (and in fact all the staff were great) and were given an upgrade to a suite, which was massive (and massively appreciated!). The rainfall shower was hot, the room decor was lovely and the bed was large and comfy. WiFi worked incredibly well throughout the stay. Breakfast was excellent with some variety each day and good coffee. The area is safe (as is the property), close to loads of bars/restaurants in Plaza Foch and within easy taxi reach of the historic district and the teleferico. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it.
The slight complaint we have (and perhaps this is nitpicking) is that our bed creaked a fair amount, so you sometimes half-roused when you turned over at night but for the most part it didn’t bother us and we slept comfortably.

Outside islamic, inside we saw the love for Klimt. Excellent decorations, even it is a little bit to eclectic. Because we asked for a twin room, we've got two rooms for the same price.
Everything was perfect!

This is a beautiful hotel, with lovely soft furnishings, architecture, pictures. The breakfast was good, the bed was comfortable, and the owner and staff very friendly. I was offered a choice of room. It is good that the hotel is open again after 15 months of closure due to the Covid pandemic. I would reccommend this place to others once the minor issues are sorted.
Because they had just opened there were a few teething problems- The credit card machine was not working, so I had to search for a cash machine to pay the bill. The cable TV had not been reconnected, so no tv available. The first morning there was no milk available at breakfast. Breakfast choices were limited, but probably because of covid restrictions as much as anything. If it had not been for those things I would have given a score of 10.
