I could not have chosen a better place to stay in Venice! Perfect location, convenient to walk to key sites and services, and so close to the Vaporetto stop. Stefania was very communicative and helpful throughout my stay. The apartment was spotless and fully stocked. Highly recommend!

I loved my stay in this apartment!!! It is clean, nicely decorated, has everything needed for daily living, and is in a great location. It was easily found. The street where it is located is quiet, yet you walk less than a block and turn right to find yourself on a straight path to the Rialto Bridge, supermarkets, restaurants, and lots of shopping. It is conveniently located near both the San Silvestro and Rialto Market Vaporetto (water bus) stops, neither of which requires carrying your luggage over a bridge. Additionally, my HOST, STEFANIA, WAS FANTASTIC! She accommodated my arrival time and greeted me in person. She took the time to not only show me around the apartment, but also the area. Based on what I enjoy eating, she took the time to direct me to local, non-tourist trap type restaurants that she knew I would enjoy. She went out of her way to make sure I enjoyed my stay in every way possible. I highly recommend this location and the host! Thank you for everything!

Clean, well equipped, center of San Polo located-very comfortable -could not find better!

Great stay in Venice - just a 1 minute stroll to the vaporetto stop (water bus service). Has everything you need for a short or extended stay. About 5 minute walk to Rialto Bridge and 1 minute walk to supermarket and lots of dining options. Yet, you are on a quiet less traveled street.
Great extras - washing machine, AC and pull down screens for the windows.
Best of all. Stefania, the host - is the most warm and cordial host who meets you at the boat to walk you to the unit and welcome you to visit. She checked in a couple of times during our trip via VRBO messenger just to make sure things were going well.
If I had people going to Venice, I would first tell them to book well ahead and book here (and ideally in shoulder seasons - still crowded city but navigable.)
(Tip - Follow Stefania's instructions for how to get to unit, people at airport where trying to convince us that there was a direct boat option that was better - but as Stefania explained this has less frequency and can result in extended waits.)

Stephania met us at the vaporetto. We were exhausted after hours on the plane (no stars, Air France). She was extremely helpful and friendly. The apartment was perfect for a five night stay. We enjoyed every minute of beautiful Venice!

Stefania is the best! If I could give her 10 stars, I would. She helped make my visit very successful. I will stay nowhere else when I return.

This was a very sweet little apartment. The location is great, close to a vaporetto stop and a comfortable walk to Rialto markets. There are some very pleasant restaurants, cafes and patisserie nearby as well as a small supermarket. Although close to amenities, the apartment is quiet.

Let me start by saying my husband and I spend a couple of months in Venice every year. We know what’s available in this price range, and this apartment is perfect. Small, conveniently arrange, well equipped. Stefania met us and showed us all her amenities (window screens - a true rarity in Venice). Left us with a bottle of prosecco, and when we said we needed so kitchen utensils she brought them the next day. So five stars for the apartment, we’ll be back. The location? It’s on the Rialto. Yay!

This was our 13 trip to Venice to attend the Biennale and have stayed in VRBO properties the last 10 visits, mostly in the San Polo neighborhood.
This newly renovated apartment offered an extremely convenient location to access the San Silvestro vaperetto. The apartment was very comfortable and suited our needs for our nine-day stay. Bonus: a lovely garden area where we enjoyed aperitivo before dinner.
But the biggest plus of this property is the apartment owner Stefania Carrano who was the BEST host we've ever had!! She is very organized and takes the time to personally go over the details of the apartment and she provides her guest with a folder chocked full of helpful info (best places to eat by neighborhood, best bars, transportation maps, among other useful tips). She quickly responded to questions via text.
Thank you, Stefania, for your fantastic hospitality! It was memorable. Looking forward to seeing you next time!

Simple one bedroom apartment tucked away in San Polo. Close to a handful of bars and restaurants, and super close to San Silvestro vaporetto. The little couch folds out into a bed which was perfect for two colleagues rooming together for three nights. Stefania was very attentive and responsive.

This is a great one bedroom apartment just off the Grand Canal and near the Rialto bridge. You might need breadcrumbs to find your way home the first time but it quickly becomes easy.
The landlord is super. She met us at the boat stop and stayed with us till we were settled and had our bearings.

We were very pleased with the updated accommodations. Very clean, very quite, and very good location. Our host was very helpful and was available for all types of assistance. Would stay here again.

We had a fabulous time staying at Stefania's property in Venice. We chose her apartment because of its great location, offering easy access on foot (and boat) to many of the wonderful neighborhoods, restaurants, shops, historic sites, etc. The apartment was perfect in every way. It was clean, spacious, very tastefully decorated, comfortable, quiet, with a good shower, great kitchen, and a washing machine if you need to clean your laundry.
The really big bonus you will get if you rent from Stefania is Stefania!! She was the best host ever. From the moment we booked the apartment, she made sure we knew how to keep in touch with her. We communicated a lot, even before arriving. She made arrangements to meet us at the Vaporetto stop and escort us to the apartment. (WhatsApp worked great for us with texting her.) Once we got to the apartment, she explained everything we needed to know about the apartment, the water buses, the best attractions, fabulous restaurants, the best routes to walk for a great view, and more! You name it, and Stefania knew the answer and was happy to tell you about. Throughout our stay, she kept in touch with us (via text) whenever we needed her. Thank you Stefania for being the best host, and if we ever get back to Venice, we hope to stay in your wonderful apartment again.

This was a wonderful place to stay. It is centrally located close to the Rialto Bridge and even closer to the San Silvestro traghetto boat stop. Stefania was great at communicating with us and met us promptly upon our arrival. She took her time showing us the apartment and giving us information about Venice. The apartment was great for the 2 of us and had everything that we needed. It was clean and tastefully decorated. I would recommend it for a stay of any length for 2 people.

We spent an amazing weekend in Venice and staying at this apartment was excellent. Stefania is one of the best hosts we've ever dealt with, confirming our booking really quickly and keeping in touch with us before our visit to give us advice on travelling from the airport to the apartment. She even came to meet us from the vaporetto stop when we first arrived and gave us heaps of really useful information about Venice, where to go and what to do. She even kept me updated via text when the weather forecast was predicting storms one evening to make sure we didn't get caught out.
The apartment itself is beautifully clean and has everything you could need. Its location was perfect for us, only 2 mins walk to the Rialto bridge which made getting across the Grand Canal really easy. St Marks square is only about 15 mins walk too. There are loads of bars, restaurants and shops all within just a few minutes walk so everything really close to hand, but the apartment is located a block or so away from the busier streets so is lovely and quiet too, the perfect combination for us!
We had an all too short weekend here but will definitely be back to Venice again soon and will definitely be booking to stay in this apartment again as we loved it!

In setting up the reservation and in meeting to get to the apartment the owner Stefania was great. We had no problems and she was easy to contact. The apartment is in a great area near the Realto Bridge, shops, restaurants and bars. Stefania, when she met with us gave us advice on the places to go see and eat. She spent time with us giving us a locals view on Venice and what to do.
The apartment has recently been completely and very nicely renovated. It has a small kitchen with separate living space and separate bedroom but very functional with enough space to spread out as much as you need as, it's Venice, you will be out most of the time. The unit was very clean and in good working order with a washing machine. Though it is in the hart of the restaurant and shopping area it is on a quiet little street. We had a great time. I would stay there again and recommend it to any one looking for a place to stay in Venice.
