Lovely place, great hosts, friendly & chatty. They are definitely going the extra mile.

The location was fab, the house lovely, well decorated, 2 rooms only and our room was a suite, with small living area & en suite. The breakfast was excellent, lovely produce & cooked to our liking. Steve & Claudio were excellent hosts. Even buying Lactose Free milk for me. Very impressed. Bed was king-size but a bit soft for us. However, it did come with a top sheet, which was great as it was v hot. Big pedestal fan available along with heater and iron. Tea/coffee was good and they offered a few alcohol options.

I'd been told by message that it was a short staircase up to the room. As I have limited mobility, to be faced with a lovely but full staircase with 2 turns, was exhausting after long days out & inaccurate. Also, parking was in a layby opposite. Plenty of space but not private.

Short (just one night). High standards of cleanliness, comfy and fantastic service.

Every bit of our stay was great. Greeted at the door - absolutely spotlessly clean - comfy bed - and a great breakfast.

No complaints at all.

on departing we were asked to check our luggage because a towel was missing. We informed the owner that the “missing” towel was in a drawer where they had placed it. The owner did not offer an apology for doubting our integrity. We felt very uncomfortable and embarrassed.

A pleasent place to stay

A friendly host and a great location. The accommodation was very pleasant.

The vegetarian breakfast option was a little disappointing. Maybe one or two veggie sausages? In response: Thank you for your response. We didn't anticipate the need to indicate one of us was vegetarian, but would have been happy to do so, had we been prompted when booking.

Absolutely fantastic hosts. The property and room is immaculate and beds are extremely comfortable. I’ve had to extend my stay because I love the place that much and didn’t want to leave. Highly recommend.

The location is perfect for visiting Swithland Woods & Bradgate Park. The hosts are welcoming and the rooms are decorated and maintained to a high standard. Also the breakfast is wonderful. Would definitely recommend.

Don't think twice if you're looking to stay in the area - this is the place !

Everything was great. Easy to find and park. Clean and spacious accommodation. Perfect hosts - who were always available to help and provide advice on the area.

Our host was very hospitable, on hand to help if needed. Our room was very spacious with little luxury elements like touch lamps, large and comfortable bed and bedding. Our host was friendly but gave us our space, and was always happy to help us with where to go for good walks, places to eat etc

Cooked breakfast was ok. It was served promptly and there was lots of good coffee!

Exceptional stay, I will definitely be back!

I have recently started a new job which involves regular travel to the head office in Leicester and I have been trying to find a 'base' to stay when I am down with little success. Keepers Lodge is an exceptional place to stay with very friendly owners, comfy beds and a relaxed homely environment.

Fantastic! Definitely recommend

I booked this for my partner and I to stay in whilst visiting local attractions. The service, facilities, cleanliness and food were fantastic. The hosts are super friendly and genuinely nice people. This added to the brilliant experience of our stay. My partner and I are in our 30's and would recommend this for any age couples, families and or friends. If we are planning something in the area in the future we will most definitely will be returning.

Very friendly owners very clean and bed very very comfortable

You can’t lock your bedroom door when you go out . Sharing a table for b fast . They have one large table . They could fit 2 medium ones instead . Only one portion of butter to share with another quest and toast was in one basket . But b fast was second to none .

A lovely stay, great hosts, wonderful location. I would definitely go again!

The Keepers Lodge is a lovely looking building, full of character in a gorgeous location. The house looks a lot older than it really is. The interior has been decorated and furnished to an exceptional standard. The room was spacious with a super kingsize bed which was a nice surprise. The en-suite was very clean and larger than usual. The room was very well fitted out and had everything that you could need. The staff was extremely friendly and very professional, we had a choice of what time we wanted breakfast and it was all set up ready for us. There was a choice of cereal but we went for the full English breakfast which was wonderful. Not too large but plenty to set you up for a busy day and the food was presented and tasted great.

There was nothing that I didn't like but if I was being hyper critical, the bed mattress was slightly sunken on one side which was a little disappointing but it didn't stop me having a good nights sleep!

Highly recommended place to stay.

This was a gem of a find! Beautiful house and so clean throughout! Our room was lovely, with a huge comfortable bed, very spacious and lovely modern bathroom. Plus windows you can open to let in the country air! The breakfast was perfect as was our Host who was lovely and made us feel very welcome and also very helpful when we asked about the area. Will definately be back again as there is so much more to explore in the area and this is the perfect house and location if you don't want the formality of a hotel and somewhere to stay where you feel very welcome.
