Clean, comfortable room in a modern, spacious hotel. Excellent value for money on campus at the university. Plentiful parking. Beautiful lobby, bar and restaurant areas

Lovely room etc only problem the mattress was very hard!

Hotel was fully booked and there was a very macho male sports team staying who were a bit noisy and intimidating. Bed was comfy but there was an unpleasant smell from the toilet and it was a bit noisy

Did t realise but hotel is actually in Uni campus. Good parking, self check in was burnt a pain, double room two people occupancy but only supplied one towel which was bit disappointing. Bar was good, Breakfast great

The location was perfect - nice clean rooms and good food

Hotel ideally located for visit to the University.
Stayed in a twin room - both beds were very firm resulting in uncomfortable sleeps. Bedroom and bathrooms have an outdated feel. Would have expected a standalone shower and not a shower in a small sized bath. Limited offerings at breakfast. Bar area was very good with a good selection of drinks. Self service check in was a bit of a faf and ultimately didn't work.

Room basic, firm beds, hotel nice and restaurant excellent.

I had a great stay at burleigh court. The new renovations where amazing a really beautiful interior, the rooms where modern and cookies on arrival reminded me like being back in New York.
The reception team were really helpful and bubbly and we loved the pool and spa area.
One fault we had was the service in the ‘fifty’ restaurant at first there was chocolate on a wine glass at our table so we asked to change them and the waitress responded “well your not having wine anyway” following this she was not tentative at all we sat for ages with an empty drink after every drink we had it was a challenge to get a new one. She had no interest in looking after us at all. It took 15 minutes after I asked for the desert menu to actually recieve it.
In addition to that the same thing happened with the bill, after asking 15 minutes had passed the staff where all in the corner chatting when I had asked for the bill several minutes ago, I then had to ask again when the waitress I had been dealing with said wait a minute… I had alrwady been waiting a quarter of an hour.
In total I was in the restaurant for 3 hours and had 3 drinks, if the waitress was more attentive I could’ve had at least 6!
The bed was also a bit hard and pillows not comfortable.
On the plus side the food that was served was outstanding and breakfast was amazing too.
The waiters at breakfast were a breath of fresh air with good energy.
Overall good stay apart from the restaurant experience.

A great stay with excellent service. A very relaxing environment with lovely, friendly staff! Thank you :-)

The hotel itself is great with only one weakness at present. It has recently been refurbished and the restaurant and bar areas have been done beautifully. But oth are badly let down by an obvious lack of staff. On Friday night we waited over an hour for our food and on the next table the people's food arrived cold and it had to be recooked. It was a shambles and it really spoilt our evening. It was very surprising that a conference hotel simply could not cope with only about thirty people in the restaurant. Also in the bar the poor, hardworking staff could not cope with the number of customers. It makes no sense to spend so much money on the decor and then skimp on staff.

Great hotel, great gym and spa facilities

Overnight stay for a couple, lovely hotel, very spacious, good condition nice bar area, good restaurant, lovely breakfast, only criticism was the restaurant area was a bit cold in the evening.

Everything about hotel was nice.

Room doors slammed loudly due to self closing hinges being far too strong.
Kept waking us up through night and morning. Didn't get much sleep at all as a result!

Lovely hotel in a very convenient location if visiting the University, plenty of parking and self check in / check out which was very straight forward. Nice spacious room with large shower room. Only arrived late evening and left before 9am so cannot comment on meals, but would definitely stay again.

My room smelt musty, I probably should have asked to swap but decided not to as i was in a rush. Shower dribbled on to the soap shelf below, rather than being full flow and as the shower was fixed head type i got a blast of cold water as i set the temperature and flow.
Bed was very comfortable and room was quiet.
One last annoyance was that the window opening limiter was broken so being on the ground floor i couldnt leave my window open as it could potentially open wide enough for someone to climb in. The food in the "fifty" restaurant was good and fairly priced, but service wasnt great- just not very attentive despite there being very few diners.

The hotel itself was lovely, very clean and nice size rooms. Facilities were great and we didn’t need for anything. Check in was simple and on site parking was also a bonus. The only thing I can fault was the service in the restaurant and the bar restaurant, which is a shame as they are both beautiful. We ate in both places and the service was so slow. When the food did arrive it was nice but you don’t expect to wait over an hour when there is only one other table in the restaurant. It felt like the staff in the restaurants were not confident in what they were doing at all. I would stay there again but book somewhere else to eat.

Lovely property, though our executive double room had no aircon and I found it too warm to sleep easily. Plus the room doors are forced closed so strongly the very loud bang whenever a neighbour returns isn’t helpful for sleep.
So, mixed, lots of good things - but check if your room has aircon and take ear plugs.

Slightly disappointed. Great location on Loughborough campus. Hotel is undergoing a refurb. Communal areas were nicely renovated. Bedroom was very dark as it was on the ground floor and lighting was poor. Bathroom was in need of a refurb. Very shabby and dated. Food in the restaurant was average and service was slow. Spa facilities were nice.

Great location, could have been a little cleaner, cobwebs, grubby corners and skirting boards in bathroom

Very nice and clean hotel and swimming swimming pool.

Lovely hotel, tucked out of the way but in the grounds of the uni. A fantastic walk with great scenery. Only issue we had was the bedding had a winter duvet on which was really heavy. we was over heating with it and cold without it! Lovely staff, lovely hotel and facilities!

Great hotel excellent renovation work in the bar and restaurant. The steak was excellent and the staff very good.

Great space and facilities. Enjoyable stay

The room was too warm for me to sleep comfortably. I tried the supplied fan, but there was such a racket when I turned it on. It became apparent that the plastic blades had warped/bent so that they were touched the front grill. I removed that and it worked okay, though there was nothing I could do to prevent it pointing towards the ceiling. The lighting was pretty well all or nothing. That was a bit too bright for first thing in the morning, though I did find a compromise.

After a 15 minute walk around the building I arrived at my room, it’s is clearly part of the university and three doors further I am in a classroom! Not a separate building. Staff was very helpful but the room was standard with nothing special, a window with a blank wall on the other side of a small walkway, very noisy overnight with doors banging,

Convenient for the campus and sports facilities

The stay was good I was there for a business trip. - could not use the gym and spa facilities due to lack of hours.
Breakfast was great and the service was great.
However the bedrooms did not have AC's which we struggled with especially as it was so warm, thankfully there were fans and the beds were comfy.

Lovely experience right from the start. Excellent safe parking. The young man who helped us check in on the automated system was kind, friendly and professional. He delt with us with great patience, as we arrived tired and stressed, and just a bit in the silly zone.
Our room was perfect. The swimming pool, sauna and steam room were superb and the staff were nice, friendly and professional.
All in all we had a perfect stay.

This hotel is located on the Loughborough University Campus with free secure parking. We arrived a little early for Check In but was told we could use the Gym & Pool facilities whilst we waited for the room which was a nice touch. The pool area is nice but can get quite busy at times. It's nice to have both options of a Sauna + Steam Room. The room itself was lovely, having no air con wasn't a big deal and a fan was provided in the room. The room was spacious and the bed was very comforable. The bathroom could do with a bit of modernising but I'm sure that will come. The shower was powerful. Breakfast the following morning was fantastic with plenty of hot and cold options to suit everyone. I would stay here again.

Dirty bathrooms, hot rooms without air conditioning and rude staff. Over priced average quality food offering. Expensive option for what it is.

Lovely clean room. Hotel is in the middle of the university. They were doing renovations but did not inconvenience me. Would stay there again if in the area.
