Truely the charme of an artists atelier, lovely atmosphere and great location right next to Braga's city centre.
Only two bathrooms for the entire hostel might be a bit too few, so be prepared to wait a little for your morning shower.

good location good sharing areas
the room wasnt the room that i booked. Only men were staying in the all hostel!!! only me and another woman( as they told me) I needed to change my room to a private one in order to feel comfortable

Staff were really nice and friendly and it was only a couple of minutes walk into town.
There was no heating in the room and black mould on the ceiling. The bathroom had condensation dripping from the ceiling and the hot water took forever to come through the shower head - if at all. It was also the only bathroom for a lot of people - needs another.

The staff was friendly and nice. They facilitated our stay in Braga assisting us in every matter.

The staff and volunteers were the best of any hostel I've been to. It was a cheap accomodation. I enjoyed my time here.
The facilities and building was really bad but I still had a great experience because of the people working there. The fridge is very tiny and inadequate.

The Volunteers were really friendly and open minded Great place to stay:)

A hostel with character. Very friendly staff and good location.
Unfortunately some guys in my room found it necassary to walk around with stomping feet and have loud conversations late at night.

Beware of this hostel, I booked two nights when I came, they told me there was no place and money was taken unjustly

Nice hostel
Kitchen was just a microwave and cutlery and plates. No fridge or cooker etc

The only positive things are the location of the Hostel and the Brazilian girl at Reception who was very helpful.
There would be no doubt if in the next few months there is a news in the newspaper that the building collapsed. Seriously, the place is decadent, very dirty and extremely hot, they didn't give me the key to the hostel, so when I went to have breakfast and came back, I had to spend 01 hour in the sun waiting for someone to open it. The boy who gives reception on the first day was also very strange, I believe he was a volunteer. The bathroom was also bad, I think sleeping on the street would be a better experience (and I'm serious).
3.5
it's an old building that is actively restored by the owner with Brazilian volunteers.
The rooms are cold, the wifi is good and the location real good, next to an equally cheap restaurant.
The obvious, it's a 10 people room and you have very little privacy.
The annoying is that the bathroom is in the same room and the sleeping room. The mattresses are old and overused, but I prefer that they used the money to maintain the bathrooms.
Another negative, that does not other me, but might bother others, is that the place is very humid, but great for a few days stay :)

Well located
The dorms smelt real bad. Too loud any footstep could be heard from a mile away. The only toilet has barely any running water.

It was a fine hostel for the money, but our room had no window and the bathroom situation is rough. The lobby is very cool, and it is close to the town center so great location.
There is one bathroom for all the guests with one shower and toilet in it. If you are not willing to wait for the toilet or shower, this is not the hostel for you.

It was a great experience. Receptionist was so cooperative and warm welcoming. Had a wonderful night spent in this place. Highly recommended.
