It was good and the owners were helpful in assisting me to locate the premises. I would stay there again

It was clean and modern and I felt secure there. The owners have done a great job at utilising a small space in a welcome way. And there was an a nearby kitchen with free provisions

The mattress was a bit too hard for my liking and no side lamp.

Fantastico fine settimana genovese

La pulizia, la posizione, l'arredo contemporaneo, la gentilezza e la disponibilità dei proprietari

Manca un tavolino con sedia o poltroncina per poter scrivere (se lo spazio non è sufficiente, andrebbe bene anche un tavolino da divano) per poter scrivere comodamente. I cuscini del letto potrebbero esser migliori

Situation idéale

Les lieux, la chambre, le calme bien qu'en centre ville, les attentions ( possibilité de se faire un petit déjeuner avec bouilloire, choix de thés et d'infusion, cafetière, viennoiserie yaourts) La facilité d'obtenir les codes d'accès (en cas d'arrivée tardive) Les accords entre le parking voisin et l'hôtel ( reduction)

Nous sommes revenus dans cet hôtel, tellement nous avions ete séduits la semaine précédente , mais si l'on nous a envoyé un message pour nous demander à quelle heure on comptait arriver (dans l'après midi cette fois) mais personne ne nous attendait à notre arrivée pour nous donner les clés... notre reponse n'avait pas été lue, notre message téléphonique pas ouvert... on a attendu 10 minutes, le concierge de ce palais transformé en appartements prévenant un jeune homme in peu confus...

Formidable

Emplacement idéal, en plein centre historique, à deux pas d'un parking sur le port ( 30€ pour la nuit) Formalités simplifiées quand on arrive tard ( coffre à clés, codes communiqués pour entrer) Petit en cas proposé gratuitement ( café, thé, viennoiseries). Ancien palais proposant de grandes chambres design, de bon goût . Silencieux ( en janvier)

For the price they're ok - but don't expect any service.

The location is good, close to everything. While I read a fair deal of reviews saying the property was difficult to find, I found it exceptionally easy. They provide youtube clips on how to find the property, and by viewing those before arrival - we found it on our first attempt. The rooms are clean, well laid out and their kitchen is convenient.

Their communication is terrible. When sending us the directions, they include an option for a taxi for 30 euros. We asked for clarification as to if it was per person or per taxi, at which stage they confirmed that it was per taxi. A little later we get an email advising us that their information was wrong and the price actually increases to 60 if there are 4 people or more. Regardless, we confirm we want to book and send them the flight details, arrival details etc and ask that they process the booking....and hear nothing back. Eventually 4 days later (the day before we arrive) I email them making sure they are expecting us, only to be told that a taxi reservation is not actually available to their address. So that was the first annoyance. Second is that they asked for my arrival times the day we were due to arrive, which I had already sent to them - clearly didn't bother to read through their correspondence. When arriving, there was no-one to be found - but luckily the lady at security managed to hunt someone down quickly enough. Where they did take the cake though, was on checkout - and this part would concern me greatly. They are IMPOSSIBLE to get hold of. We had a 10am meeting, and from 8.30am all the way to 9.30 we phoned constantly in order to get hold of someone to check us out. At least 40 calls later, with no response - we resorted to hiding the key in their passage. If you were for some reason locked out of your room or have an emergency, good luck in getting hold of someone. Last small annoyances were the noise, which many speak about - but for me the bigger annoyance was the light. They have shutters that do not close, and the lights in the street shine straight into the room. If you are expecting a somewhat dark room - this hotel is not for you.

Exceptional

Host were fantastic and knowledgable about the area, they spent time to give recommendation of places to visit in Genoa and also restaurants to go to. They were also able to tell me about transport options to the airport and place that I wanted to visit. The room was well kept and tidy with daily room service. They had a free to use kitchen with little snacks, fruits, coffee station and all the basic amenities. Accessing the building was very easy.

A very good place to discover Genova

Our guest has spent a lot of time explaining what to visit around and where to have rest and restaurants. The rooms were small but well furnished. The place was very central and close to a car park.

It was not so easy to find the place but we made it!

Cosy and perfectly designed

The location is unbeatable in a beautiful area of the old town. I had booked a single room and wondered, looking at the pictures if it might be a bit small. Upon spending time here, you quickly come to realise that a lot of thought has been put into the space and it has been perfectly designed. There is a place for everything and everything has been thought of. Yes, the room is small, but it never ever felt small. It was a brilliant little space and incredibly cosy. I had one of the best nights sleep of my entire trip here. Also, the colour of the bathroom is gorgeous.

One of the very few downsides of this place is the internal walls are pretty thin. If you have a noisy neighbour, you will hear them.

Very pleasantly surprised

The owners really put effort into offering a clean and comfortable stay. The building is historic but amenities in the room are modern. Staff is very helpful. Good location.

Parking is possible close by but is expensive.

Tiny room but sufficient for a few days. Almost 0 chance to park with a car unless you have lots of time and breathe to wait.

It was all very good.

From the entrance to the rooms everything was excellent. You feel like you are in a special place. The location is also almost perfect, you can go the most of the parts of the city by walk.

The old main door was not easy to open with the key. For 2 days we had to ring the bell. Kitchen area could be a little better maybe. (A better coffee machine would be perfect for instance)

Tea etc. in shared room. Nice bed, a lot of electrical plugs, even next to each side of the bed + dimmable reading light. Sent movies how to find the parking. But because we did not have a map, we went back to the parking in the wrong direction first.

No explanation how and where to unload the luggages and park in advance with a map. No lift.

Comfortable stay in stylish palazzo in central location in Genova

Location is perfect, close to main station, old town and harbour. The staff was really welcoming and provided me with lots of tipps where to go or eat. My room was small but comfortable. Free coffee, tea and biscuits were offered. I recommend staying with Genova Suite Art.

Small bed, but was aware of that when booking, so nothing really to mention here.

Great stay, loved the accommodation and staff.

The property was in a good location and in the same building as the police making you feel very safe. Staff were very helpful and the room was very comfortable.

The shower was a little bit different and the location was a good walk from main attractions.

The perfect hotel in the most beautiful place!

The property was beautiful! Staff were some of the most friendly people I have ever met not only having incredible conversations but providing every recommendation and more I could ask for. The lobby/ living/ game room was the perfect place to hang out and have a delicious cup of coffee after coming back from the mountain with fast Wi-Fi and sometimes a great snack. The single room was perfect for a solo traveler. A single bed, plenty of room and a private bathroom that was all super well cleaned and designed beautifully. Finally there is the cozy spa including a sauna and steam room that were the perfect place to relax after a hard day of skiing. The hotel also has a ski room and heated drying racks for boots so your boots are dry and comfortable getting to the slopes. The walk to the closest lift was only a few minutes a perfectly doable weather you are just going to hike, enjoy food on the mountain or ski. They are also confidently located from the train station (about a 10 minute walk) It is up a slight hill but it is in a mountain village so nothing you wouldn’t expect. I will definitely be staying here again on my future trips to Zermatt I cant wait to return!
