Mini vakantie op Ameland

Heerlijk bed, sfeervol interieur, goed ingericht keukentje.

De tegels in de douche waren erg glad.

Great place to rest

Loved the location, close to the restaurant and town center, but with view on the fields and sheeps. the apartment is comfortable and beautiful, the bed is very comfortable 👌

It's on the pricey side & the outside furniture could be better.

This property is nice and will make for a pleasant stay in Hollum, Ameland. Overpriced, though.

Nice position in the village, close to the beaches and beautiful bike trails. Comfortable bed.

There were many insects in the room, including spiders and we were bitten by them. There was a sink leak they tried to fix, but it was still leaking afterwards. There was occasional noise (music at night time) from what I suspect was hotel staff living on the property - I saw the same person who handed me supplies on the terrace in various rooms and heard either loud TV or music there. Insulation from heat and noise could be improved. A closet for clothes would also be more useful than design elements that are pretty, but serve little function.

Nice but too expensive for what you get.

Location is very nice in a rural environment, with great views. Mattress comfortable. Kitchen nicely equipped. Nice to see have view through the window from anywhere in the room. Lots of sun on the terrace.

Though the bed is very comfy, you need to jump high to get in, even for tall people like us. Seating area outside a bit primitive, noise from snoring neighbors.

Lovely extra touches, very tasteful decor, comfortable, beautiful views over sheep paddock, great location close to all shops 👍

Superb

So many aspects that won't fit in 2-3 sentences 😜 the location, the view (garden view, ground floor), the bonus of looking at sheep, the room size, the interior design, the details (handwritten welcoming card, flowers etc.), the high double sized bed, the kitchenette, the record player, the staff... We had a fantastic weekend here! Just simply having fresh coffee and enjoying the view outside or from the cozy couch, while being a minute bike ride away from the beach. I understand now why it's called Sunset Apartment because this place delivers what it promised in its name. 😊

Just a few very minor things to improve would be: - the toilet seat was slightly loose - the vinyls were a bit scratchy (but this shows that they have been used frequently and it also added some ambiance 😉) - what would have been incredible is a bathtub with a view (it's a dreamy idea but still this would have blown our mind😁)

Absolutely fabulous!

The styling of the apartment looked straight out of a magazine and great quality. Absolutely loved it! The bed, pillows, the couch, the shower everything was very comfortable. The service was high class but with a personal touch. The wide view of the landscape and changing skies was memorable. I highly recommend this place!

Seaside Zen!

Luxury villa with beautiful views onto green fields, with fantastic service from staff. Well designed, well stocked and super comfortable. Exceptional communication and little extra touches like a welcoming bottle of wine and then also some bubbles for New Year’s Eve!

That we had to leave! We loved this little island, we loved the village it was in and we loved the people around us.

Great stay at this lovely studio apartment near the beach.

The check in was at a hotel in Ness, which is where you arrive with the boat. The studio apartment was located near the beach, which was great for a(n) (evening) stroll. Unfortunately the sunset beach restaurant was closed due to covid, otherwise it would have been great to see the sunset from their terrace. Upon arrival there were some chocolates and a bottle of wine. The bed is very comfortable and there is a record player for some background music to listen to.

We didn't have any dislikes about our stay.

Good location, tastefully furnished, lots of day light, but a bad night's sleep

The location was perfect; about 10min from the sea and 2min from the COOP. The apartment itself was highly efficient and also tastefully furnished, and extremely clean. The amount of daylight was perfect, with light from the South and West. The host (well, staff of the hotel) is friendly; I received twice a message to inform about my stay.

Although I liked the apartment, I have two main remarks. The bed was below acceptable. The mattress was thick but the bed sheets/mattress cover let go when I moved in my bed which was quite annoying. Also, the bed is short. I am 1,88m and the mattress came therefore about 15-20cm short. I think that the bed is 1,90m long.
