we were charged for not use recervation!

We could not enter in the room! At all! I picked up this hotel , because it is state 24/7 checkin. We arrived in the middle of the night and during the communications we received very detailed ( what we initially thought) instructions how to enter and to find the key. It was stated that the phone is available all the time. It was said that the reception is working from 8 am till 12 pm, but following 7 points in the instruction we can find the key. The day of arrival we received again message with the new code for the entrance door. When we arrived, we entered in the building and followed the 7 points received earlier, but we could not find the key. It was 3.30 AM. We searched all around reading again and again the messages, but nothing. Nobody answered on the phone and we stayed on the terrace till 5.30. Nobody call us back after that , they just took the money for the reservation!!! We leave them written message how disappointed we are we could not sleep in the booked room. Their explanations were not correct, they moved the reception room down stairs, without state this exactly in the message and after totally different detailed explanations sent before! I made a claim to Booking and will continue asking to revert the money. Be careful with their explanations! This happened to me for the first time in Booking!

A very pleasant stay in Bergamo.

Booked at short notice, in a pleasant part of Bergamo. Traditional building, now used as (around) 10 apartments. Hot eggs (cooked to liking) cheese, pastries and coffee tea.

Could pay more attention to cleanliness in the room. Window overlooked road outside, with associated noise.

A very authentic stay at a good location.

I liked that the room was very big and authentic. It was easy to access. Everything was clean and comfortable. It is nice that the room contained some extra furniture like dijing table and chairs. the staff was very friendly.

Nice staff, large rooms with historicall feeling

its real palazzo with surrounding historical atmosphere

There is still some ongoing reconstruction of the place. Bit noisy in early hours 7:30-8:00.

Nice place to stay in Bergamo.

this place is very nice. the rooms are simple but comfortable. 30 min walking from citá Alta. free parking during night but the owners provided me parking for 24hrs for 10 euros.

Exceptional

Enjoyed Bergamo more than Milan. The B&B is unbelievably romantic, classic Italian. It's not modern luxury - but that's what made it perfect. We felt like we were in Italy. The staff were awesome every step of the way (I'm awful with directions and it was late on a Sunday) and I can't wait to come back.

Excellent safe stay with great conveniences nearby.

Quiet, comfortable and large room opening to inner courtyard (but for parking cars). Excellent staff and accommodating. We are returning after traveling elsewhere and will book again. 15 min. walk (flat walking) in safe commercial street to airport bus stop and the train station, 1 min. to grocery store, 1 min to outstanding restaurant at 25 Borgo Palazzo (Giorgi e la Margi). We are both 75 yrs old and carry backpacks and it was very worthwhile going/coming/staying.

Shower floor was slippery! but everything else was great about the room.

Cool old building.

Sense of freedom and privacy to be relaxed. Excellent terrace to use, with nice plants and chairs and tables. Very nice owners and staff. Decent location.

Breakfast was great, staff was helpful and nice. Atmosphere was warm and welcoming.

Our rooms front door had frosted glass, so we could see lights and people going by. If we had stayed longer, that would have been problem for us.
