Placed in side building, door to bathroom rotting. No sea view.

I love this hotel and its exceptional staff who can move the mountains to make your stay wonderful.

The hotel is home away from home for me. You just can’t beat the mix of professional yet personal staff, location, and the carefully preserved historic hotel facilities

Great breakfast! Nice sitting area in front of the house.
The annex where we stayed was comfortable but perhaps not so cozy.
4.1
The hotel is situated in very nice place.
I personally like the hotel at the beginning, and I was planning to come back. But first of all, they did not change the towels everyday, secondly when I did the check out and left Copenhagen; I received an email from the hotel that I took TV cable and I should return it back the same day or they charged me 250 DKK! I had to make a couple of phone calls to hotel to explain that I did not even turn on TV since I was in conference whole days, and I did not see such a cable..... The lady at receptions was insisting that I had taken the cable.....Long story short, I had some pictures taken the frirst night from the room, and sent them to her to show that there was no such a cable in the room from the beginning. They compared the pictures, and sent an email that they accepted my words. Anyway, I did not like the attitude, and as a world traveller I found that revolting and strange. That is the reason that I would be reluctant to go back to this hotel.

Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful
We paid for an upgrade to a sea view room with balcony, our window overlooked the sea our balcony overlooked a unkempt car park and was directly above industrial bins.
The noise from the pub below went on into the early hours.
The breakfast was very poor, cold plates Luke warm food and even though they knew in advance how many were coming for breakfast and timings, items ran out and we were told it would take 20 minutes just to get a croissant! Basic breakfast food.
Even though we had phoned reception to complain about noise and disturbed rest it was never acknowledged and we were not given the opportunity to feedback as when we checked out the question of ‘how was your stay?’ ‘We hope everything was ok for you?’ was not asked hence the review going straight on booking.com

Location, bathroom products, bed and bedding
Noisy in the extreme, staff incredibly unhelpful and rather rude, cleaning staff shouting and slamming doors all day.
Property did not communicate at booking (requested quiet room)
Room very small and not as advertised. The hotel is run down and service is non existant.

I liked everything

Excellent and personal service, lovely cosy rooms with an exquisite view. Great organic breakfast. Situated in the charming atmosphere of the old fishing “village” Skovshoved. Close to the sea, a nice smallboat marina and a small forrest - though only 15 minutes from the center of Copenhagen.
4.1
It is a small hotel that is clean with friendly staff and most importantly really kids friendly. The small pretty marina is right across and our room had gorgeous view of it. For our family it was a perfect little staycation
