La recepcionista deben de tener más amabilidad para ayudarnos sentirnos a gusto tiene buen ubucacion pero están para ver qué te cobran es más me cobraron un impuesto mucho mayor que Oasis Gran PAL y eso que me queje y me lo bajaron y igual fue mayor que el Oasis y el oasis me salió a mayor precio y la joven de la recepción me indicó si salía un minuto más tarde me cobraría más cuando ella me tuvo más de 10 minuto y yo x un minuto

Precio bajo, no esperes maravillas

La ubicación sin duda, está al otro lado del ferry a Isla Mujeres

Las instalaciones ya están deterioradas, rentamos 3 habitaciones, la que nos tocó a mi y a mi esposa olía mucho a humedad, en la de mis hijas no servia el aire acondicionado, en la tercera la puerta de acceso abría a la mitad porque la madera ya está muy hinchada y no dejaba abrir. A la alberca le falta una buena pintada, las sillas y camastros están rotos en su mayoría.

Need to teach their staff good customer service, is not terrific but they can do better and greet with happy face, they are representing your hotel.

The bed was comfortable and the room was big

Linens were not clean, the room was super warm when I arrived. I was charged a rate completely different from what Booking indicated (including taxes), which felt like a rip off. For the price I could've stayed somewhere else that I know is much better. The restroom's toilet was clogged, the bathroom overall was not clean. The AC was super old and loud, and didn't do much of a difference. And it's not possible to request late checkout (like everywhere else), so you get charged additionally for checking out late.

Too much noise and I want my refund for the 2 days that I didn't use the hotel.

They just gave me an available room not what I booked for and they charged me more than What I agreed upon. It wasn't fair. The service was not good. I contacted Booking and got no response

Excellent location, parking, staff, great bathroom.

Very average hotel, relatively cheap, decent location.

Staff were pretty friendly, location was good but mostly because it was next to where my friends were staying. The hotel itself is just "okay", not the best, a bit dated. The price for the room was good but the bathroom was pretty small.

The room just felt a bit empty and lifeless.

overpriced, smelly with intimating and bad mannered management

the location was fine

the safe was not working and when we were given the key (following request) still not working the electricity was off and we had to go back downstairs at the reception to have it turned on in the room. When we remonstrated (besides the electricity there was a very bad smell around the room and the bathroom) we were passed on to the “owner” (via telephone) that immediately started threatening us to call the police and cancel the reservation. He was intimidating, frankly the worst ever experience!!

there was a free airport taxi to hotel on the website on booking.com if over $ 1798 mex was met. and there is no one would like to honor it.

Passable

The hotel finally moved us to a better room after our 2nd night after we explained what was wrong for the first two days of our stay and texted bookings.com about what had happened with our reservation.

Showering had hardly no water pressure but a light stream of water out the shower head with not enough hot water...so you had to be quick showering. Hotel needs to upgrade 100%. In the 80's I worked with a travel agency sending people to this hotel and it seems that time stood still at the Calypso with no changes and upgrades since then. Not worth for what they are charging. I am sorry to leave negative feedback but in my opinion they have to do better than this. It was a 3 star hotel but in reality a 2 star would be more appropiate. Some of the personnel were nice but not all were truly sincere.

Good enough for what we needed.

We were receiving dental care so didn't care if it was a really ritzy place. It is an older hotel probably in need of remodeling .

Old amenities pools weren't very inviting. Almost reminds me more of a fungal infection the bathrooms were very tight. Difficult to get behind the door to get to the toilet.

Muy buen hotel

The location of the hotel is good, it is close to a bus stop, the beach is 5 minutes away, it has parking, a swimming pool, a restaurant, a market, and an oxxo is nearby, perfect to go with your partner or family.
