Wunderbares Gebäude an ruhiger und traumhafter Lage mit einem sehr guten Restaurant.

Wir sind sehr liebevoll und freundlich im Hotel empfangen worden. Das wunderschöne Haus liegt wunderbar direkt am See und versprüht einen unglaublichen Charme - einfach toll.

Das Hotel hat noch Teppiche im Zimmer, die mit den Jahren halt einfach ein bisschen schmudelig aussehen. Ist eine persönliche Sache die uns halt einfach stört - man ist dann nicht gerne barfuss im Zimmer unterwegs.

Je ne retournerai plus jamais dans cet hôtel.

Décoration des chambres décevantes ainsi que la salle de bain taille de la douche minuscule uniquement douche au plafond malgré le prix obtenu, ça ne vaut pas En arrivant l’heure du checkin, la personne qui nous a reçu a rempli les papiers. La chambre n’était pas prête. Nous sommes retournés une demi-heure après pour récupérer la chambre. La même personne nous a pas reconnu il fallait se représenter. La chambre n’était toujours pas prête on est retourné cinq minutes après et elle avait de nouveau commencé à nous demander ce qu’on voulait

3 star service at 5 star rates. Disappointing breakfast and service. Families keep away.

The property is beautiful with great access to lake. Stayed at the lakeside suite, which was spacious but the room is dated and needs better maintenance.

This property charges 5 star rates for 3 star service. The breakfast was underwhelming with very limited choice and substandard quality of food. On top, during breakfast we had to wait half an hour to get a coffee and cutleries never arrived at our table so we had to fetch on our own. There was no one to offer/ask for a baby chair. During check in, despite carrying a sleeping child on our shoulder, the hotel reservation manager tried to convince us that we were supposed to pay an extra 130 Euro plus 30 euros breakfast for our 3 year old child and kept shouting loudly as if we didn't understand English and made us wait a long time. We agreed to pay whatever as we were tired from the journey, but later referred to the booking conditions which stated that only children from 4 years and above are chargeable. We had also requested an early check in possibility by 2 hours, the hotel again informed us of an outrageous charge for it, so we didn't end up opting. Overall, if the hotel shows half the enthusiasm of charging guests outrageous amounts on it's overall service and upkeep, it has the potential to be a decent hotel.

Wonderful grand hotel on the Lake fora relaxing holiday.

The location and the facilities are excellent, especially the Junior suite sizes and balcony views. The lounge chairs in the front yard are comfortable, and there was plenty of space for everyone to have a certain level of social distancing privacy. The ability to swim in lake out front was nice. The walk to the main hub if Palanza, with many restaurants, shops, the lighted fountain and ferries also extremely convenient. Parking near hotel also free on street.

Although the Suites we’re very generous in size, the shower stall was small/tight. If we quibble, we would have liked a spa with steam room and hot tub too.

They told us at 10:35 that it’s not possible to serve us because it’s too late When we arrived In the reception said that it’s till 11:00 Was embarrassing 😳 But the servant noticed her mistake and fixed it

Great location, lovely atmosphere, lovely decor.

Location was great. Breakfast excellent. Nice atmosphere. Lovely lounge area. Robes and slippers.

The bathroom was not up to standard. The plastic shower curtain was very shoddy, though clean. One of the basin supports was detached and was hanging off the wall. No tea/coffee making facilities in room.

Simply fabulous

Simply beautiful. Fabulous hotel which oozes class. Wonderful location right on the waterfront with gardens and a beach. Quiet one-way road plus cycle track into Pallenza. Great pool and lovely restaurant.

highly recommend! a perfect honeymoon trip

everything! the location and amenities were perfection!!!! the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. we stayed as part of our honeymoon & they upgraded our room one level from full to fill lake view & gave us a cute congrats note upon check in!!

the prices to eat at the hotel were outrageous compared to Italy prices. 38E for a steak & 8E for genato are basically NYC prices! I have to say the breakfast, lunch and drinks were all phenomenal quality despite the “taking advantage of tourist” prices. the rooms smell a little musty but we didn’t mind too much because they were so clean comfy and had amazing views!

Very nice hotel. Excellent breakfast. Helpful reception. Beautiful scenery.

Extra price for sup boards. A lot of sea weed in the water and beach could be cleaner.

Perfect spot for a romantic stay with a taste of Dolce vita

We had a superb romantic week on the shore the Lago Maggiore and our stay at this hotel greatly contributed. We were upgraded into a larger room and everything was just top. We were also positively surprised to see that the hotel restaurant that only counted 2 reviews at the time of our stay was marvellous.

No iron in the room.

Excellent location with amazing views of the lake.

Paying extra for items at breakfast that you would expect to be included. No tennis rackets or balls for use on the tennis court. The bar service was strange, I couldn’t figure out if it was waiter service or not.

Amazing location, garden with a direct access to lake, nice pool and wellness center. Great views from a balcony. Close to Verbania, Stresa and islands.

We would recommend to replace the bed mattresses. They were not comfortable.

An old-fashioned, well-positioned and comfortable hotel with the emphasis on service

Perfect situation overlooking the lake and ten minutes walk from a number of restaurants and cafés. Good breakfast, nice room with a big terrace.

Access to the lower levels (breakfast room, spa, garden) not ideal for people with reduced mobility.

Grand Hotel Majestic combines 1) beautiful vistas, 2) old-style charm, 3) great comfort.

The Grand Hotel Majestic is right next to Lago Maggiore, and the views from the balcony were phenomenal. The hotel is a mix of old-style charm with 100% comfort. A pedestrian walkway goes right by the hotel and allows guests to walk the short distance to the city center for shopping and dining.

There was nothing that we didn't like about the Grand Hotel Majestic.

magnificent public rooms

our duplex suite was not really a suite at all,the living room upstairs was so small as to be unusable,better to have put in a much bigger bathroom,the shower door seal was useless;flooding the bathroom floor every time we used the shower.
