Great host, great location for a quiet stay. Everything you need within a couple minutes walk. Would stay again.

Great location at the end of the town. Over the road from the beach. Room was good, comfy beds, small kitchenette, balcony, pull out washing line. Absolutely perfect for our length of stay. Price was reasonable for the high season. Philippos is the perfect host and the staff are friendly and helpful. Room cleaned daily. Large bottle of water in fridge on arrival. The restaurant that Philippos recommended, over the road, was outstanding. Great coffee and choice of dining options along the beach. 10 mi s walk to town centre.

The shower was tiny, hard to not get water on bathroom floor. Drain was good so it disappeared quickly. Wi-Fi was a bit patchy at times. Extra charge for air con. Nothing major.

Super location and host we couldn’t ask for anything more

Ideal location right on the seafront. Excellent and friendly hospitality by Philippos. He was so helpful and we really appreciated getting to stay in our apartment as we had a late flight. Stami the cleaning lady does a fantastic job always with a smile.

Relaxing atmosphere and owner was extremely friendly and helpful

The owner Phillipo was extremely friendly and helpful. Lovely swimming pool and pool area which was kept lovely and clean. Property was close to the beach and all restaurants and bars. Great poolside amenities. Room was clean and very well maintained with a lovely view of the sea and mountains.

We had a fantastic view from our room. Phillipos was very friendly and helpful - our four year old daughter was besotted with him and she loved Ella the cat too. Good continental breakfast. The pool was fantastic and very clean accommodation.

The water in the morning was not very hot,probably because the water heating is solar powered and the weather was not very good early in the season.

Memorable in the worst possible way.

nothing. the are was the biggest highlight and everything was overshadowed by how untidy the property was and how unprofessional the host was

it felt like I showed up unannounced. Like, the host wasn’t expecting my arrival. A fellow guest had to help me find my key, which was hidden inside a flower pot in the front of the property. The AC didn’t work, the toilet didn’t flush, and there was strands of hair all over the room, which definitely added to how unclean the space felt. There was no partial view of the sea, my room looked into an unfinished property. The owner was extremely unprofessional and difficult to talk to. It felt like I showed up at the house of a distant relative that deeply disliked me. An experience that’s going to be remembered in the worst possible way.

Outside the town's hustle and bustle

Located on the most eastern edge of town, just a few minutes stroll away from the centre of Kardamena with its many pubs, restaurants and cocktail bars, and only 50m away from the seaside. Very quiet area with wide views (depending of course which floor and side of the building you are). Nice clean appartment and building, basic but well furnished, with kitchenette and fridge, bathroom/shower/toilet, AC and balcony. Regular cleaning and change of bedsheets/towels. Free use of the owner's swimming pool on the plot next door. Very friendly and helpful owner who can guide you to the more genuine restaurants.

Superb

We had a great stay at Philippos Studios! The apartment is perfectly located. On one side is the beach for swimming and a short walk takes you to some beach bars, on the other side is the city and on the way to the harbor there are many bars and restaurants. Everything is possible on foot! The pool is nearby and is very nice, you can still swim well in mid-October, as well as in the sea, even if we couldn't use it that much because our children got sick... The apartment was very clean and there is room service every day, the kitchen is a bit scarce, but apparently we were the first to prepare our own breakfast and wanted to have it on the balcony with a beautiful view of the mountains and the sea! For 4 people The space was a bit tight, but if you travel a lot, it's sufficient. Philippos Studios is definitely recommended and Philippos is always available via Whatsapp if you have a concern or question and takes care of it quickly!

Philippos was very kind and accommodating, the location is amazing, not in the middle stacked with tons of tourists, it is still in the center but in a quiet spot! the pool area is very clean and the rooms are spotless.

its a general thing with kos hotels, u dont have soap and shampoo, if u get to the hotel at night, u are stuck.

A great week in a great location, will return.

It was close to the beach. Had a great pool which was spotlessly clean. The location was excellent for the many restaurants in Kardamena. The breakfast that Philippos provided was a great way to start the day and ha and his wife were lovely people.

You can't improve on perfection.

My new home from home......

Phillipos is such a lovely person who really cares about his guests. My flight was very delayed and so I arrived much later than originally planned and very late at night. I had e-mailed Phillipos to keep him informed and he was there to greet me and took me through things thoroughly and efficiently, with good grace and a friendly manner even though it was so late. This immediately put me at ease and I knew that I had made the right choice of accommodation. All the staff at the property are friendly, polite and welcoming and staying at the apartments felt like being part of a family. Also, if you need to hire a car or need a taxi, Phillipos can arrange it for you. He booked my taxi țo the airport for my return and it arrived just as arranged. The pool area is so clean with plenty of sun beds and also a very short distance to the beach, so much so that guests left their beds to take a dip in the sea if they didn't want to swim in the pool, which was crystal clear and a good size, and returned to enjoy the sun..... just as if the sun beds were on the beach. The pool bar stocks a large variety of drinks and a good choice of snacks and light meals. There is an amazing Fish Restaurant in close proximity and the centre of Kardamena is a pleasant stroll...... Phillipos' property is perfectly situated and equally suitable if you are looking for a stay to recharge yourself as I was, or if you want a more lively holiday and to experience what Kardamena has to offer.

Having to leave! I am planning my return stay already and can not wait to go back. Many thanks to Phillipos, his staff and his beautiful family. Based on my experience, you will have a lovely holiday if you stay here.

Relaxing and lovely location

Very nice stay. The property suited our needs. We received a better room than expected. The view of beach from the terrace was unmatchable. The host was welcoming and available for our late check in time.

Some slight comforts would be appreciated. A small bottle of water and a small shower gel for example.

Beautiful city and location, close to sea, great beach bars closeby

The location was not even 3 minutes to walk to the sea and the town center of Kardameina was also 5-10 minutes of walking. Our room was provided with two balconies with beautiful views, also great to take photos, but I remembered booking a room with a sea view, and upon arrival, it was obvious that none of our balconies looked directly to the sea, but faced the mountains. Make sure you pay attention to that and realize if you booked and paid for a specific terrace view. The town of Kardameina was lively and cute, to eat quick and traditional gyros we recommend Pita Way, and to spend the entire day we suggest you go to Sun beam beach bar and look for Tony to get a beyond perfect service. PS.: On our morning of departure from Kos, we heard about the shortage issue of taxis on the island, but Philippos tried his best and arranged a taxi to lift us to the airport in time. Appreciated it!

As I mentioned above, the promised sea view was missing from our room and holiday stay at Philippos. Other than that the breakfast that was included in our booking was not satisfying, to say the least. When you pay for continental breakfast, you would expect more than a general offering of toast with butter, orange juice and coffee and greek yoghurt. We politely asked if there were maybe some vegetables to have, and we were given some every morning after that. But we realized during our stay, that other guests were eating full English breakfasts and more, as we learned, for an additional price. It surprised us, but you decide if it bothers you or not. PS.: The room due to some external circumstances was not the most comfortable. Having a pigeon nest on one of our balconies we were woken up by their beautiful singing and woohoo-ing every morning, plus many cars and honking noises. Our pillows on our bed were also really uncomfortable.

Great apartment with balcony and sea views in a quiet area, but close to the action. Wonderful pool.

The location of the apartment is great, as it is in the corner or a village, so you do not get all the busy area, but it is walking distance. The swimming pool is amazing. The staff were so kind and helpful. Philippos is great.

Lovely place to stay!

Beautiful view from our hotel room right by the beach. Philippo was very helpful and kind. Beds were comfortable and room had what we needed. The pool area and bar really cozy as well.

Only downside to this place is that the walls are thin, so if you have trouble sleeping at night, bring some earplugs so you can sleep at night free from noise from the outside and the other rooms and the hall.
