Very close to the Olympia archaeological sites, we walked from the hotel. Also right in town, close to main street, restaurants, shops, etc. Parking on street was easy to find. Nice size balcony.
Small room, not much room to move around the bed. Very small bathroom, could not fully open the door.

Location was perfect. For breakfast we got as much coffee and juice as we asked.
Toilet flusher did not work.

Breakfast was prepared for each guest and simple. Noting fancy but hit the spot! Best of all was the filtered coffee and the chocolate bread! The host carried in my luggage!
It would have been better to have had the bed premade but I certainly did not mind putting the top sheet and blanket on! Parking was a bit challenging as I chose the hill the hotel is on. But right around the corner is flatter parking and is much better for those of you who’ve dusted off you’re Manuel driving skills just for this trip!

This charming pension in the heart of Olympia is owned and operated by a lovely couple who are very responsive and helpful to their guests. We definitely appreciated, during this less touristy season of late autumn, the extra attention we received by their kindness and conversation. They provided us a larger room to accommodate our extended stay sized luggage, extra pillows and towels, plus a green space view balcony!! As we walked down the hall, like ours, all their rooms looked fresh, clean, comfortable and bright ready for guests to relax and freshen-up before venturing out into the delightful town of awesome ancient sites; very unique and significant archaeological:collections and several additional important museums -))) We could have easily stayed 5 nights here instead of 3 to experience everything that we wanted!! We certainly hope to return. The breakfast was just right and the open area is decorated in a cheery welcoming style with greetings and great suggestions about their town from the thoughtful owners. It was a very enjoyable visit with so many genuinely nice and friendly local people who are the shop owners and managers of various businesses and even welcome outsiders to attend their church on Sunday morning. Olympia has everything important to tourists, but also their town is for pleasurable and daily living as well. I felt very much at home because of the Olympians' warmth towards strangers which is an unforgettable treasure of the heart. Stay a while at Pension Poseidon, chat with the citizens; eat delicious cuisine; buy unique gifts; and much appreciate Greek hospitality and culture, present, past, and ancient. Olympia makes you feel like you're on the top of a beautiful green heavenly mountain!!! Thank you so much!!!

Lovely room with wonderful owner. Breakfast was 6 euros and delicious. Always making sure we had everything we needed.
Room felt cold during the night. Poor hot air circulation.

Friendly staff. Close to all sightseeing activities.
Small rooms, tiny bathroom. Bland breakfast service.

location great, room very comfy, breakfast prepared by the host was very nice, the fresh figs where a nice touch
4.5
It was a nice small pension with pleasant and helpful staff. I felt like being at "my uncle's". Humble, but good breakfast. The pension is walkable distance to all important sights in the town.
Being a small pension carries some natural issues. The view was to the small "back street." There was some funny noise coming from outside the whole night. The bathroom would deserve some upgrade. So in fact, none of these were real issues for me.

cozy, clean and traditional…. with probably one of the best self produce small-batch olive oil available on the Peloponnes

Location was good, host were very friendly.
Cozzy looking place.
A bit old bathrooms, need renovation. Small rooms for that price and place.
Very loud heaters.
Breakfast is bad, not worth to pay the extra price.

The man at the reception, George, was nice and talkative
It was cold and wet (-from the bathroom, there was no ventilator just a small window) we had the ac on max heating the whole time, but it didn't help. Everytime we got outside it felt a little bit warmer than inside.

The location was great - just 5 minutes walk from the archeological park
The staff was very friendly and helpful
Our room had a pretty balcony
The room is TINY - we did not ven have space where to open our suitcase apart from bed
The breakfast was very limited

George was very friendly & welcoming. I loved the breakfast (continental plus yogurt, cheese and hard-boiled eggs). The location was close to the site but off the main drag, so quiet. Our balcony was large and had lots of potted plants, which was lovely.
The room was a bit small/overfull of furniture - though we were given a choice, so I feel it's unfair to complain - we opted for a larger balcony.
3.5
Good location (very close to everything), friendly staff (gave us good suggestion of a restaurant), good breakfast and has place to park the car!
Our room was in the ground floor, near the lobby and breakfast room, so was a bit noisy in the morning. But once we just stayed one night was not very problematic.

the host is very nice and gave us a lots of advices.

Airco worked well, breakfast was great (only the boiled eggs were from the day before) and towels were clean. No noice from the streets, good to sleep. New and renovated rooms. Practical solution to stay that solves the basic needs.
The owner did not remember that we came, he solved the situation by trying to bring us to an other hotel, but at the end we got probably the worst rooms of his own pension on the ground floor.

Very friendly host. Close to city center. Clean.
The bed was not as confy as we would have prefered and we had a room with double bed, not very confortable for a couple.
