Très bien

Très bien placé, à 15' à pied de l'entrée du site archéologique (10' à pied du musée, mais ensuite il faut marcher encore 5' pour le site). Appartement moderne.

Le canapé lit était très peu confortable pour un adulte car il y a un espace vers le haut et donc soit on a le trou dans le dos, soit on a les pieds qui sort. Pour des enfants ça va bien.

Los detalles para preparar algo de desayuno como sandwiches, café o té. Hervidor y nevera. Todo estaba limpio y es posible ir andando a las ruinas porque están a 5 minutos. El dueño es muy amable.

El colchón de muelles no era muy cómodo.

Great place to stay to visit the ancient site of Olympia

Great communication, clean and cute place, Kostas is very helpful and gave us a great historical introduction to Olympia. It is 10 minutes away from the ancient site and he said we could leave the car here for the day.

Nice cosy place

Cosy room, Kostas the owner personally welcomed me from the bus in the late evening and gave me a fun talk regarding Olympia and its history.

Convenient.

Located just off main street. Very convenient location, only 7 minute walk to Olympia site. Motor bikes a bit noisy up and down main street, but closing balcony window at night solved the noise. Spacious apartment with recently updated kitchen and medium sized fridge. Good sized balcony. Free parking was off-street and onsite with space for max. of 4 cars. We had no problem obtaining a spot. Friendly knowledgeable host.

Very very small shower recess. Not enough cutlery/utensils (in the renovated kitchen). No Television. Wi-Fi very very poor. Connection was intermittent.

Perfect stay in Olympia

Perfect stay, Kostas was a great host and he made sure we had everything we needed. Shower pressure and temperature was great, the room was basic but complete with all you may need for a short stay. They left us some fruit, tea and coffee too, which was much appreciated. The location was perfect.

Fabulous host and apartment

Kostas is an unbelievable host, very attentive and willing to help. The apartment is in the center of town, a short walk from everything. Private, off street parking. We had everything we needed and more - Kostas brought us fresh oranges and tangerines.

One day/night stop over in Ancient Olympia

Karlos is a fantastic host! So friendly, Knowleable, ,obliginging- gave us a comprehensive explanation of Ancient Olympia etc.. Great location.a few hundred metres to Ancient Olympia.- free on site parking- many restaurants etc in the area

Situated on the very busy main road on a corner!!tour buses passing regularly..many restaurants and hotels in the area with open verandas ..found it very noisy!

Perfect stay, couldn’t be better

It was a perfect apartment to see Olmypia. Olympia is in walking distance, the apartment is clean and has everything that you need for a comfortable stay. We were a group of 8 people and it was very nice and convenient. Everything is very clean, there are towels and soap and even fresh fruit. It was perfect, can recommend it 100%

Great place to stay and the archeological city is a must-see!

The host was amazing, he gave us a great explanation of the city of Olympia and had a great restaurant recommendation! The room itself was spacious and perfect for two.

You have to wait for a little for the water to heat up with the boiler and it can get quite cold in the winter!

Another great experience specially with Kostas, the host.

Our host Kostas was excellent. He told us about the history of Olympia. He was also very friendly and willing to help if we need it.

Disappointing

I cannot give a useful review because I booked it and paid for it, yet after checking in and seeing the room, we decided to book a room in another hotel since I personally did not like it. This does not mean that other types of travellers, under different circumstances, may find it appealing. It was simply not what I needed to spend the night. It was my mistake booking a room with such a low price. Host very kind. So no hard feelings nor complaints. If you are on a really tight budget, it is ok.

Really great location, nice host, sadly, beds very uncomfortable.

Location is great. Kostas the host was really nice with great comms throughout the booking process. Refund offered promptly by host due to our early checkout.

Sadly, the beds were very uncomfortable. In the main bedroom, the springs could even be felt through the thin mattress. Property is very tired, not like the photos at all. Despite there being heating, the room didn't get above 18 degrees and with a child in our family, this wasn't acceptable. I doubled up with our daughter plus two extra blankets to keep her warm but we were both still cold. Booked for two nights and checked out after the first night. Owner said that he hadn't received any complaints about the mattresses before but when I look through the feedback now, it is very evident that we are not the first to complain.

Excellent location and host, great value

The location is great, very close to the archeological museum and site, and at the corner of the main street. The parking was in the courtyard, the appartment is spacious, the communication with the host very clear, timely and informative. There are sufficient electricity socket for charging.

Very convenient and nice place to stay in Olympia

The room is very beautiful and comfortable. It is so close to the city center and everywhere. Kostas is very nice and knowledgeable, he shares us a lot of information about the history and mythology. We would like to stay here next time if we visit Olympia again. It really deserves.

Enjoyable and interesting for all ages

Exceptionally warm greeting from Kostas. Very central location, hot showers, good coffee at the bakery nearby. Great idea to stay overnight and get an early start at museum and parks, especially in winter when closure is 3.30pm. So much to see and experience at the key sites. The gods favoured us with good weather and autumnal tones. Glad we visited!
