Couldn't work the TV in the twin room but we were only there to sleep not watch TV so don't matter.

Location was spot on right in the centre of East Grinstead with a beautiful view of the churchyard
Pillows were too hard for us

Pleasant and welcoming staff, comfortable bed, quiet room and excellent shower. And delicious breakfast. My husband is coeliac and staff were knowledgeable about his dietary needs which is always a relief. Oh and interesting wine selection too. What more could we ask
The shower was small, so would be challenging for large guests. Not a problem, they would just need to know
4.1
The room was nice and spacious
The staff were very nice, lovely and chatty
Felt secure with the two doors
We felt like it was a good location in the town - while it wasn't right in the centre, it was a little out but it was close enough to walk in
The only thing I will say is that we didn't know what to do with the key on checking out - we were checking out on a Sunday and the place downstairs didn't open till 10 so we had to wait for someone to be in there to hand the keys over to them. Also we didn't know what time check out was - we assumed 10 (as like most places) but the website said from 8-10 so I was a little on edge from 8am thinking they'd want come in and we'd need to rush and get out quick (these were the only negative tho! Otherwise it was a great little place! Clean! Friendly! Walk walking distance to the main town centre!)

Location good with lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance
Larger bathroom but ok for 1 night

room was amazing and lovely staff

Lovely location. Excellent staff. The provision of streaming services. Comfy beds. A novel approach to providing tea and coffee (teabags in a tin, coffee and sugar cubes in jars).
Sound from the bar downstairs can be heard loud and clear. No toiletries were provided during my stay, only a soap dispenser. There should be guest accounts for streaming services provided as I felt uncomfortable using someone else's (staff I'm assuming) account.

This was a great location in an attractive part of East Grinstead. Surrounded by good restaurants and not too far from the rail station. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Extremely reasonable rate especially at the moment when so many premises seem to be putting their prices up. I would highly recommend staying here.
Nothing - it was perfect for what me and a friend were looking for.

Booked at the last minute as The Oust house let us down 2 days before our stay after having booked nearly 3 months in advance!.
Spoke to lady from GH who seemed really nice and helpful, so even though
The Oust house the day before our stay
apologised and said we could stay after all we declined as we didn’t want to let GH down!.
So I was surprised when we arrived that GH didn’t seem to at first recognise our booking.
I was eventually shown to our room and
asked if I wanted any milk, I assumed it was for the afternoon so I declined.
However when we returned after our wedding party, there was no milk for
morning tea.
The beds were very comfortable. A tap in the basin slightly swivelled which we told them about.
Had coffee in their cafe. Very polite and helpful young man served us, menu looked inviting.
Didn’t feel that there was much welcome at the b&b.
Considering that, If I’d known,I wouldn’t
have felt bad about letting them down
and opting to stay at The Oust House which was a lot nearer to the wedding venue.
Lack of interest in welcoming us
