Very quite and clean
Was a little hot in the hallways

Elegant space, beautifully decorated, the room was very comfortable and clean, very quiet aircon and good sound proofing from the windows. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Make sure you check for events in the beautiful park at the end of the road if you want a quiet evening, I stumbled on a rock concert for motorbikers that lasted until 4:50 in the morning, the windows did a great job but it would be impossible not to hear it, so although the bed as very comfy not much sleep. That was my fault not the hotel as these events are a once a year event. On the other hand if you are a motorbiker you will love it. I did wake up with the swallows noise which was wonderful and I will stay again.

We were traveling south and needed a stopover for one night as our plane arrived after dark. This hotel is about 1 1/2 hours south of Lisbon and we wanted to continue the following day through the countryside and not on the motorway to Tavira. So I searched for a new, modern, minimal decor hotel and found this. It was perfect and at a great price. The room was very relaxing, (almost spa-like) quiet and there was a lovely view of the hills. Parking was free and easy to find on the street. The hotel also had a restaurant which they graciously kept open for us as we arrived at 9:30pm. The restaurant was upscale and very good. The staff were all very professional and helpful. We continued the next day and took the route that passed through the castle town of Mertola. I highly recommend that drive. It was lovely! We did not get a chance to look around Aljustrel as we were just passing through but as we understood it was a mining town.
The lift was broken and we had some heavy luggage. Also the refrigerator was not turned on which took the hotel some time to figure out how to do it. It then took an hour or so to cool.

Very comfortable
The dining room was closed on Sunday evening, for a special event, and only one restaurant in the town was open (a steak house)

This is a great quality hotel. The staff were super attentative from the reception to the dinner service. The hotel is modern, clean, efficient and comfortable. Rooms & beds & showers etc were great. They stored our bicycles safely downstairs. Evening meal was superb (I had lamb chops !) and the staff really looked after us at dinner. Breakfast was also great & set us up for long day south.
Couldn't fault anything

Always good to return to this hotel. Good location in town center. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good and rooms are large and confortable.
This is the second time I have stayed there where the towels are badly worn. They look like they have been chewed by a puppy. This is a basic thing to have in place for guests. Pillows were also quite worn out.

randomly stopped here one night and it exceeded expectations. super clean and staff were friendly and wonderful

Very clean and friendly reception. Good location and very comfy beds.
Breakfast was basic but good quality, I would just recommend to improve the refilling/checking of products stock while people arriving to have breakfast. We needed to wait like 10' to get the water, for example, or there were no fruit anymore 😅.

great value for money
nothing all good

it is alright, not spectacular for the price you pay.
the fact that I was told by reception and it was written on my room card that we had the right to breakfast. once we got to the restaurante an employee by the name of Carlos Capeta refused to provide us breakfast stating we did not have the right to it that his colleagues the day before had made a mistake. I have worked several years in customer service and have never seen lack of flexibility like this. you should be attracting people to the Alentejo and not pushing them away as this is in the middle of nowhere.

It's a 3 star Hotel at a very cheap price.
Place available for my bicycle.
Aljustrel has limited attractions but the walk up to the Chapel by the castle is worthwhile.
Maybe a kettle in the room would be a good idea.

What a fantastic find! We've came here by accident since our original booking was canceled and couldn't be happier. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff was a 5 * even though we had no Portuguese, they all speak excellent English. Dinner at the restaurant was also delicious. The portions are generous and all is prepared fresh and tasty. Highly recommend!
Nothing. Everything was excellent. The only thing wish the rooftop var was open but it's the covid time so understand that this wasn't possible.
