Very disappointing

Very clean and easy to find

The location is not good - the property is at the end of a dead end road on what looks like an old industrial estate. For the price the facilities were very poor - the main advertised facility was a kettle which wasn't even in the room - it was downstairs. How difficult is it to provide a kettle? Despite most of the reviews commenting on how good the breakfast was no breakfast was offered or made available to us. The price was very high considering all the negatives. By contrast for the following 3 X nights we stayed in a gorgeous traditional small hotel within the city walls of Obidos - which also included breakfast - and for 10% less !! We only stayed here as there were no nearby alternatives but would definitely not book again. We'd drive further instead!!

I had a late arrival due to the bad service of Sixt car Rental. It was no Problem to enter later on. Nice terrace.

A water boiler, coffee and tea bags in the rooms would be fine.

A nice room that may not be described as it really is.

The property was very clean and well decorated. The hostess was kind and spoke English which was very helpful and appreciated.

The property was located in an area that is under construction, both roads and housing construction. Perhaps I missed something in the description when booking, but I did not realize that the room was off of the owners personal living quarters and that the bathroom, although only for my private use, was not attached to my room. You had to go out into the foyer to access the bathroom. This was a uncomfortable situation for me and I would not stay here again.

Exceptional

Overall it went very well. Even though we booked in very short notice (half an hour before arrival) the arrival went smooth. The room was wide, with access to a balcony with a nice view. The place is located away from the city center, but is at a short walking distance from it and from some good restaurants. Breakfast was great, all very clean and in order. The parking spot is outdoors right in front of the house, no issue with it. As we visited on winter, the room was cold. The room had an air conditioner, but we didn't ask if it would also warm up. It wasn't very important for us as we only spent one night, and the blankets kept us warm.

The pillows were a bit too thin. We didn't ask if they had others.

Lovely proprietor who speaks perfect English, very easy to get to just outside the city centre, nice room and good breakfast with strawberries.

Superb

This was my second time staying here and I would stay there again. Breakfast was excellent - Apart form the usual eggs, fruit, breads, etc. Fernanda cooked pancakes and an apple pie on different days. This was a lovely touch. The room was good and very comfortable

Be aware that the shower and toilet is across the corridor but it is available for your exclusive use.

Very nice hostess - very good breakfast. Nice room in excellent condition - large and very clean. Nice quiet location but look it up on the map first.

The bathroom was for my exclusive use but was across the corridor - a minor issue. Notwithstanding that it was very good.

I needed a quick place to stay and found the B&B within 5 minutes of my office.Very comfortable, lovely breakfast, incredibly convenient, and a good value. I will happily return!

A friendly welcome from Fernanda and her daughter. A good sized room with private bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Perfect stopover point when travelling from Lisbon to the Algarve.

Very clean and comfy. The room looked very nice and very well decorated. Breakfast was amazing the host prepared everything for us at our convenient time.

We didn’t know that the bathroom was not inside the room so it was a surprise. For one night it was good.

Very nice people and a very beautiful house. Clean and nicely decorated. We would recommend this place if you are passing through. And need some rest.

The bed was a little hard. But we are aware that in portugal most of them are that way.
