Garden a bit overgrown

Spacious and well located. Melanie was very accommodating on check out time. Although the off street parking was limited for the size of house there was free parking just around the corner eying the school (worth specifically mentioning this in the info provided)
Nothing really

Very clean.
Well thought out with everything you may need.
Nice furnishings and finish.
Great location and great it has a driveway.
Hot water set too low so tepid rather than hot for a shower.
Pillows could be better.

extremely clean, great location, parking space, dog friendly, very comfortable beds
only one toilet

We thought it was a great property, warm and good facilities . No issues with the property itself at all.
It would all have been rated excellent but we were really disappointed by the leave property time of 9am. Hence unfortunately we wouldn't return or recommend. We will be vigilant for looking out for these conditions in future as it taints the experience to rush out.

The cottage was excellent, extremely comfortable a short walk into Bakewell, a bit of a hill to return mind,
Could have done with another toilet

We loved everything about corner cottage and it was exceptionally clean
As we had arrived on motorbikes we only carry the essentials and so to find no teabags or milk was a bit of a disappointment after a long journey we had to go find a shop!

clean and comfortable. good location
narrow strep road but that’s not really a criticism

House was decorated and furnished to a high standard and easily accommodated 5 of us and a large dog. Plenty of towels and bedrooms well furnished, lovely woodburning fire and a starter pack of logs and a welcoming bottle of wine all made the stay very enjoyable. Only a 5-10 minute walk into centre of Bakewell but you would need to be fit and able as on a steep hill. A very convenient moor / field to walk the dog just up the road behind the house with stunning views of the town and surrounding hills.
The check in time of 5pm we felt was very late and the check out time of 9am on a Sunday was far too early, no time for breakfast and nothing open for us to do much before 10am. We were travelling with an elderly disabled person and we didn't know the property was on a very steep hill until the host sent more detailed directions just before our trip and the parking was very limited and driveway only suitable for 1 car which meant a weekend of manoeuvring between limited parking restrictions. These did not spoil our stay but just made it more logistically challenging and an extra hour in our favour on the check in and out times would have made all the difference.

Location was excellent, has a small parking space at the front of the cottage, very clean on arrival. Only 2 of us staying so lots of room with 2 double rooms.
No welcome pack of food, not even any milk, given you can't access until 5pm. No cleaning items for the bathroom, if 6 people had been staying i would have wanted to clean it! very small amount of wood.

A fantastic property, very well located and maintained
The communication from the property manager was poor and contradictory.

The cottage was super cosy and welcoming and had everything we needed. Liaison with the owner beforehand was easy and informative. The location was perfect for visiting Chatsworth and exploring Bakewell.
We enjoyed everything about the cottage
