A brilliant stay meeting up with old friends .

Directly opposite the train station , and close to Weatherspoons pub , clean and tidy room a very comfortable bed , quite on a night even though near main road , a lovely cooked breakfast buffet style all you could eat which is included in the price of just £57 for a a single room also has a bar . Great location and courteous, friendly staff .

Will definitely be back

Breakfast was lovely, staff were very helpful, value for money , clean comfortable bed , period hotel which I like, this is my third stay and loved it.

Not much room to park, but pay and display car park next to hotel , £3 for 24hrs weekends.

Lovely friendly hotel opposite Warrington bank station

I really the staff were very helpful and were always on hand if you needed any help, whether that’s checkout, breakfast or general information about the hotel. Also is literally opposite Warrington bank station which is ideal.

My only minor thing would be that it is a little dated in decor, but this wouldn’t stop me from coming back to stay here.

I arrived it is over road from warrington train station.breakfast was lovely the room was clean everyone was pleasant the room was clean and big

Well everything was good until I wanted to shower....no hot water in shower I no the price was good including breakfast but couldn't even get a warm bit water very disappointing 😞

Good for 1 night to stay over and have a shower. For a comfortable nice place to stay, keep looking!

- It is situated right on the station. - Easy access at night. - Heating was quick and effective.

- WiFi only avaliable near the reception. - Thorn, old furnitures. - Weird smell in the room. - Breakfast was poor and ineidible.

breakfast was early, hot and yummy. warm building and very warm room. Staff was lovely and accommodating.

through the night the bathroom smelt strongly of Tabaco, this woke myself and my 3yo up. i had to open the bathroom window and shut the door. this helped until we needed to use the bathroom.

Disappointing

The location for my needs. the reception staff were really helpful and accommodating. Check in is listed at 2pm but they will try and get you checked in sooner depending on how busy they are.

I'll start by saying I have used this hotel in the past and it was okay for what I needed at the time. On this visit I went to breakfast at 8am, the eggs were hard, the remainder of the breakfast offerings were just plain cold. I requested a fresh egg and was told they are fresh as they had just been cooked! I can say that the eggs in particular had been out for quite some time. The hotel offers 'free Wi-Fi' but trying to get a signal in the room was pointless as the signal strength was very weak or really nonexistent, the bar area and dining room had excellent signal strength. If you are just staying a few nights, it is well worth it but for business travel not recommended. Local amenities are within walking distance of the hotel.

Great staff and great atmosphere. I will definitely stay here again…

I will never understand why so many people give negative reviews of this place. The location is perfect for all amenities, and the staff, especially Steph, and Ali, are exceptionally friendly and professional.p, and a joy to talk to. I will admit that yes, the building is dated, and needs a bit of a makeover, but don’t we all? It all adds to the superb character of the place. I’d much rather stay in a hotel like this, than a posh 5* one any day.

Water pressure in the shower could be increased to a better level, and controls to lower the amount of condensation that appears in the bedroom…

very run down dirty and smelt of cigarettes aa soon as you walk into reception. Rips on the bed. Dirty carpets. Very dated furniture.

definitely good value for a cheap stop over but need to sort the showers out…

clean rooms, free breakfast and friendly staff.. v good value if showers worked..

Hard beds and low pressure water in shower which took over 30mins to get hot No sweetners as I'm diabetic

The location is good close to all amenities

No hot water in our room I had an almost freezing cold shower in the evening then in the morning had to go through the hotel to the other side to have a hot shower

Comfortable, good- value overnight stay

Staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was large and bed comfortable, english breakfast was plentiful with good coffee. Short walk to rown centre shops and restuarnts
