Location of the hotel
The receptionist was very terrible 😢
4.5
The location is wonderful. The view is like out of a painting. If you have a car its 30 min drive from Luzern. But it's absolutely worth it to escape the city's noises. If you don't have a car you can travel by boat from and to Luzern you just need to calculate the timing because the last boat from Luzern is at 7 pm . But you must always check depending on the day you travel. The hotel is clean and has all the amenities as parking, pool, and spa. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast was abundant .
The hotel is very dated.

Location right on lake side
Hotel is in need of a refurb some boards round pool loose no towels at pool then grumpy maid brought some lift at front of hotel not working really dark down corridors and the church right next to hotel does 4 minutes constant ringing at 7 am

Clean bedsheets.
we COULD NOT SLEEP at all; the windows are not sound proof. there was a church next door which bell is ringing every hour and few times in one hour after midnight till morning, at 7:00 it starts ringing the bell for one minute nonstop. when I told the receptionist about the problem two of them told us it’s so normal here! and if you want a room that you won’t hear the noises you can pay more and upgrade your room.
_ the room was full of ants and I also found a small Cockroaches there.
_no IRON
_ they didn’t warn us about the height of the one side of the parking; my car trunk (that automatically opens) hit the rough ceiling and got damaged.
_they didn’t charged our coffee capsules for second days and when I asked them, they said well we ran out of coffee for third floor! Let’s see what we can do, and we never heard of them!
_the shower in the spa was either too hot or too cold.

front door didn’t work, lift to reception didn’t work

Great breakfast, well located in close to the lake
Colors and design of the place disastrous, beds could be of better quality for such a price (cheap pillows and duvet). room coffee and vanity set from discounters. Owners milking the cow. Swimming pool only open in the evening in low seasons and booking.com client are not informed while it could easily be done via booking.com automatic messaging system.

From check in to dealing with extra wishes over guest parking, information about boat cruises and timetables to breakfast and check out: everything was excellent. Staff is very friendly, eager to help and motivated. An over all very pleasant stay. Highly recommended. The location directly at the Lake Lucerne is ideal. Request room with lakeview - you will love it.

The breakfast was plenty and good😊
It was very cold in the whole place. We were freezing and has to wear our winter jacket while taking our breakfast in the restaurant for breakfast buffet😔

the location is nice and breakfast was good. the beds were comfortable and there were a bath tub and a coffee machine in the room. the hotel cat was cute 😍 the view of the lake is amazing. the ship stops right in front of the hotel.
all in all it's just absolutely not worth the momey particularly because i specifically filtered hotels with pools for our spa weekend and the pool was closed!!! i even communicated with the hotel a week before check in about parking and they mentioned nothing.
there were no slippers provided for the spa to go with the robe.
the restaurants were closed.
tv programme was lousy, there is a channel called netflix with no sign in option (lol what?) and there were no glass coasters, something that's not a big deal but could be soooo easily fixed.
not a new building. no shopping options on saturday after 5 p.m. at all.

- The staff were polite and respectful
- We had a nice view of the lake
- The breakfast quality was acceptable (if you compare it with the breakfast quality of other hotels in Switzerland)
- The reception is on the 2nd floor, and the entrance elevator was broken. The reception lady tried to make a false statement that someone just pushed the elevator button and broke it, but I can see from past comments that it was broken for a long time.
- The lobby area was quite poorly managed; I can confidently make this statement that it had the lowest quality for a 4- or 3-star hotel that I have ever seen. There was a water cooler that ran out of water on the second day of our stay, and every now and then the reception lady made a statement that they should be refilled soon. The furniture was quite old and worn out. There were quite strange and insulting rules that annoyed us for all three days of our stay. Let me give you some examples: to escape the dirty smelly rooms, we had to stay in the lobby until bedtime and play with our friends. Every night at 11 pm, the reception lady came and asked us to leave the lobby because of the Hotel Rules!!!! She explained that she is the last hotel staff leaving and "she should kick everyone out of the lobby before she leaves"!!? What a terrible management!
Also, there was no bar or restaurant or anything food-related open (I think the hotel restaurant was only open for breakfast). Our rooms were disgusting and sometimes we ordered food and we wanted to eat in them in the lobby. Again, the Hotel rules said that we shouldn't eat in the lobby and the reception guided us to the dirty disco room to eat.
- The rooms were disgusting. There was no ventilation in the bathroom so after someone used it, the room was full of smell and humidity. The TV wasn't working, everywhere you could find spider webs and dust. Overnight, there were noises of water flow coming out of the walls. There was the smell of carpet in the hallway.
- Shortage of staff: most of the time, especially in the afternoon, there was only one staff to service all guests. Sometimes, we had to wait half an hour to find someone to ask for toilet...
3.5
Location and cost benefit ratio were key.
The bathroom: prone to flooding due to the open space in the bathtub.
3.5
Very nice location, excellent breakfast.
Lack of staff, long queues to ask for information or to check out.
Rooms are getting old and not well isolated.

Everything was perfect

Nice quiet location, room was fairly clean, good view of the lake. Parking available.
Bathscreen was useless flooded bathroom floor. Dust on wall papered walls, bathroom floor was dirty! Breakfast not included, and way to expensive. TV didn't work! Coffee machine was temperamental! Only 2 coffee sachets provided! No free bottle of water in room. Feather pillow provided was rubbish.
