Très bien dans l’ensemble, la piscine était très bien. L’architecture était original, on était dépaysé.
Les prix du mini bar, ahah. On a pris un paquet de bonbon avec 5 bonbons dedans (fraises tagada) on n’aurait pas du 5€ soit 1€ la fraise …

we have stayed many times over the past 12 years and always had an excellent meal in the restaurant. this year however, we felt that the choice of a La carte menu was very disappointing and not up to standards of such a lovely hotel. more like a bar snack menu. hope the hotel goes back to proper a La carte dining

Love all the greenery around the property. Lunching and dining on the terrace was a delight. Nice to have chairs on both sides of the pool. The hotel and restaurant staff were lovely.

The property was beautiful. There were acres for walking and bike riding. Our garden room had outdoor seating. there were many indoor rooms for relaxing or drinking. The room was comfortable and well equipped. The breakfast was outstanding. It has everything you could want to eat. The staff was all friendly.

spacious, green, good food, very comfortable bed.
the room would benefit from mugs or cups rather than paper cups.

the Bedroom very comfortable with a pretty nice view of the country side and the marvelous swimming pool . Many thanks to the Team for the perfect service.
The restaurant during this cold winter , you must take care of the temperature! During our anniversary dinner we were quite disappointed with your “Tarte Normande “ and the Salmon was medium regarding the price .

location and friendly staff.
the place is very well situated, not even 10 minutes from Deauville and yet you are in the nature.
Room could be refreshed and we were far from the main building.

The lack of staff in the public areas. Also lack of choice for light meals. Restaurant menus didn’t change and yet they were unavailable to view at 16.00 in the afternoon!

Very nice nd well maintained estate, spacious rooms and good to have free of charge leisure like cinema, pool, tennis and bikes.
Beds were ok to although the sofa bed was uncomfortable for kids (matras too thin).
The staff was friendly but lacking communication skills other than French. Also no effort whatsoever was made to create any atmosphere which felt like holiday even though the estate perfectly is equipped to do so and many families stayed there.
The restaurant was not delivering value for money.
Not having airco meant top floor sleeping rooms were very warm.
The fitness is not very well equipped.

The place is charming, the breakfast very good
The room we had was nos super confortable because we has a “duplex” and had a bit of dust. We found it a bit little bit expensive.

The breakfast buffet was spectacular, with abundant choices both indulgent and healthy. One of the best buffets I have ever seen.
This is subjective, but I prefer a firmer mattress. The linens and pillows were great.

The tranquility
There could have been proper cups and saucers in the room, not paper cups, and there really should have been fresh milk and English Breakfast tea.

A minus - they dont have vegetables at breakfast, and options for vegetarians, in general.
And a lot of mosquitos!!!

the hotel infrastructure was very good - almost as we imagined and hoped for. The food was well prepared and cooked.
The staff were untrained. Waiting is a skill, but we got untrained staff delivering the service which spoilt the interaction with them. The concierge delivering us by golf buggy to our room, found when we got there that the room was not ready, so he did an immediate and fast U turn almost throwing my wife out of the cart before speeding back to reception. Happily I had a good hold on her, and needed it. I assumed he was used to single occupancy in his vehicle and his demeanour indicated he was a farm labourer pressed into service because of staff shortages. Our menu was delivered to us open. We did not realise there was an a la carte menus on a previous, hidden page not presented to us, and as we believed there was only the final page to the menu that we were presented with, only had that set menu. We asked if there were oysters but the staff said NO. There were oysters - we saw the shells on plates being returned to the kitchen. No one suggested we try anything other than that set menu. we later found there was an a la carte menu so both of us lost - we did not get the meal we wanted and the hotel did not get the revenue. The wine was poured without any offer of tasting by a very nervous new conscript oblivious to the ritual and all waiters (or should I say, more porters or even worse, Amazon delivery men; for that was the role they adopted) leaned over us taking the shortest route to serve us instead of keping always to the right. It was all about speed. No customer engagement, just production line fast deleivery. No training in evidence: this can only be laid at the door of bad management. No air conditioning either. Our room was like an oven despite the small fan that was supplied. No sleep - just a very steep invoice for what could have been a very enjoyable stay. Would think more than twice to even consider returning. Feel very disappointed, and frankly, screwed.

It is an extremely beautiful property situated in isolation. There are plenty of things to do within the property if you don’t plan to venture outside.
The breakfast spread can be changed every alternate day. We had the same breakfast for our entire stay.
The staff couldn’t speak English, so it was hard for us to communicate as we don’t speak French. it will be better if they have some English speaking staff as there are people travelling from outside France.

room spacious and very comfortable, staff very attentive and helpful. unfortunately only there for one night so didn’t really have the chance to profit of the facilities or area
breakfast timing should be reviewed as opening too late (7:30). it will be better to start 30mins earlier as some people might have early start (work, pleasure, tours, etc…)
