The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Our suite was perfect for our family traveling as it allowed the youngest kids room to stretch out. The beds were comfortable and there was free parking for us. There was a variety of foods offered as part of the breakfast.

it was cool temperature in our room.
awsome staff, very nice and helpful.
The location was really central.
it was quite noisy, very easy to hear other guests. A bit small room.

Cosy, old fashioned hotel with great location and breakfast.
The bathroom could use a new plastic carpet

Very friendly staff with lots of good recommendation re restaurant and what to visit around.
Excellent buffet breakfast with so much to choose. Enjoy the little smoothies. Did not eat the pancakes but lots of people had one or more.
Parking facilities in the surrounding. Reception staff advise us when it is free to park (Sunday & Bank Holidays) otherwise parking free for 4hours in the back of the property (next to property only for 2hrs)
We had 3 days stay with blue sky but very windy and cold. It would have been great to have an inside place to stay facing the sun. Unfortunately reception and lounge area are both facing the north (?) side without sun.

Back to the 20s. An exceptional hotel. It does not always have to be top modern, one has only forgotten to get along without much comfort. Highly recommended.

Although the team wasn't at the hotel at check-in, everything was ready for me after my late arrival.

Run down rooms. Needs a makeover.

Nice traditional hotel, great location! Getting upgraded last minute and getting my breakfast to go, was really appreciated!

This family run hotel may not be 'grand' in the luxurious sense of the word but it certainly has opulent charm and authenticity. I particularly enjoyed the library, which doubles as breakfast hall, and is open to guests all day around for (free) coffee and tea. The hosts made me feel most welcome and made time for personal conversation. The hotel is conveniently located for public transportation (bus; ferry) and within just a few minutes' walk from the stunning coastline.
I stayed in a basic single room to save money - room charges are in general higher than I expected in this area, even in low season. The room was so small that there is no place to put your clothes nor for a desk. The charm of old and authentic buildings also has a downside so you will have to be lucky to have quiet neighbors during your stay.

A comfortable environment to be in.
The WiFi needs greater bandwidth. Internet dropouts were annoyingly frequent.

Nice breakfast, central location!

The staff was super helpful and the place is very clean.

Lovely hotel interior, very quirky and a great breakfast!
The room was a bit on the small side, but loved the quirkiness of it!
