It makes for a lovely weekend with amazing food and wine

The grounds are amazing. The view from the terrace makes you feel like you’re in Tuscany. The rooms are comfy, but we would recommend getting a clasic room in the Chateau

Our room ( one of the suites on the roof) was smaller than what we expected. Even though it is more expensive than a standard or deluxe room, it seems smaller and it is really really hot, even though it does have AC, it just can’t keep ul.

Excellent place to have a wine tasting in Moldova

The place is near a small village, so there is nothing else to see really - but you can spend plenty of good time on or around the property. There are fields and parks to walk and there is a small lake also nearby. The surroundings are beautiful! Accidentally we booked the tower suite, so it was a nice surprise to realise that our room has two stories, with the bathroom on the second floor overseeing the whole property. You can see the wineyards from the shower cabin, absolutely recommended! The staff was very nice at all times, they worked very hard went above and beyond all requests. Always nice and helpful. Breakfast and all foods were excellent!

Come to Purcari not first time, and always it perfect time! They have full booked, and we change the room, and received 2 bottles of champagne present )))

I like wooden fields, but here in the rooms they have tiles. It to individual )

Great domain dedicated to wine

The whole Purcari domain is superb, the approximately 250 ha can be also visited by bicycle. The food at the restaurant and the service were great. There are many activities that can be done outdoors, walking through vines and on the lake shore, picking grapes, hammocks, sunbeds, ping pong, badminton, pictures in the lavender field, visiting wineries with or without wine tasting, according to preferences. I would come back anytime, it was wonderful experience, also the guide lady was very well professionally trained and a nice person too.

I would have preferred to find out about the option to visit the domain by bike at the time of our arrival at the property. I found out about the option late in the evening and it was no longer possible because we were only stayed for one night and wasn't enough time left for that activity. Given the price of accommodation, I think it would be appropriate to have small incentives included (for example: water in the room or a mini bottle of Purcari wine). The only unpleasant thing was the mosquitoes' invasion during the evening, we chose to have dinner outdoors and it was really challenging. Of course we can't control the nature and I know that the staff sprayed trees and vegetation with anti-mosquitoes solutions, they even offered us body spray against mosquitoes, but these methods did not work and we had to hurry to the room because we could not stay outside as much as we wanted. Maybe a mix of other methods would work (repeat the spraying procedure on the trees after each rain, mosquitoes coils, mosquito repellent machines, etc. )

Fantastic getaway

We had a lovely stay at Purcari, accompanied by a tour of the cellars and a wine tasting. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, we were even offered to freely roam around the vineyards and try the local grapes. The dinner at the restaurant was delightful, with traditional Moldovan dishes reinvented in a modern way Overall, a fantastic getaway from Chisinau, and a true example of Moldovan hospitality and culture.

I have been here several times, still one of my favourite hotels in Moldova.

Fantastic, big rooms. Peaceful countryside.

The service was a bit disorganised. But it was possibly due to wine festival.

A beautiful and relaxing stay

I will give the maximum mark, even though the rooms are not exactly 10. The gardens are beautiful, it was special to be able to drive through the vineyard by car. The prices are a bit high, but the excellent selection of wines and the tour were worth it. Ana did a good job and served us all our meals excellently, also the reception was ok.

good for one night

The rooms were large and clean. The excursion was great, the guide is knowledgeable and nice, speaking several languages. The view is lovely from the top floor.

The restaurant staff is bitter and they lack manners. They are not even greeting you! The lake bikes were in horrible shape and not usable: full of dirt and filled in with water. The grass on the property was unkept and looked like a poor side of a village. The bar staff was charging for coffee at times and other times they were not. This was so strange! You are not given information on what you can do on the property, not given a map unless you ask for it. They really have to work for a better service so people feel they are welcomed. The food prices were outrageous and the portions are small. The wine is also overpriced, it's cheaper to buy it at the store!

The surrounding area is amazing, the wine-tour guide, Nicolai, was fantastic; the staff was super friendly; the room was nice, warm and clean; the breakfast very generous and tasty.
