Good breakfast
Everything was fine

The accomodation itself was fine - it looks like a combination of students' dormitory and a hotel. Therefore, I had appropriate expectations regarding the room facilities and overall feel. However, the room was clean and relatively spacious (for one person) and the price was pleasing. For me the most important feature was a short distance to JKU, which is only several hundred meters from the hotel. Recommended for those looking for reasonably priced and functional accomodation close to the university.

The breakfast was on point.
Everything about the hotel is nice. Not far from the city. Staffs are nice and the room is very clean.
5.0
The view from my room and the cleanliness. In addition the silent atmosphere. Also the free wifi feature and the Air conditioner.
The elevator was really smelly. One of the receptionists shouted at me (in front of other people) because he thought that I wasn’t staying at the property. And he didn’t shut up until i showed him my card. I was so embarrassed!

Staff seemed friendly and JKU Linz is only 5 minutes by foot away.
The room smelled old - either students in the 80s were smoking inside and the smell got into the walls and ceiling, or the furniture and curtains were never changed since the opening in 1978 (or both).
The shower was cold in the morning and the breakfast was atrocious (bread was like a sponge, coffee bitter and weak, selection of bread toppings underwhelming). I have travelled a lot and am not against budget stays, but this place is charging way too much for what it is. Anything more than 20 Euro per night is not justified.

Staff is very friendly, Mensa very cheap, daily cleaning service, low price, near to jku
