Location
Room is quite outdated but clean

Central location at kawagoe city. There are a lot of restaurants nearby and a supermarket just opposite to the hotel. Parking facilities are available at a very reasonable price.
The decorations of the hotel is a bit outdated but it is clean and tidy

The hotel is very dated.

Breakfast was great, location is convenient since it next to Hon-Kawagoe Station.
just some minor stuff. the sign of hotel's parking lot was quite small and easy to miss.

location
although we stayed in an expensive Japanese room, the room didn’t meet the maintenance expectations. Amenities were good but we needed to lay the futons by ourselves and no room service was available.

Convenient location and good price
Extremely rude staff. Refused to give any form of invoice or documentation meaning I am unable to claim back cost of hotel from my company.

Breakfast was decent. I was happy that they offer breakfast buffet, otherwise I had to go out and grab something to ear for my kids. Room was clean but old. Location was superb. Hotel was attached with the train station.

Location, facilities and amenities. The rooms were big.

They gave me some gift coupon that worths almost half of the accommodation fee. I bought like 15 cans of Koedo beer as a souvenir. I don't know if they still have it but that was nice.
Everything was ok...

The staff are incredibly friendly (but most staff in Japan are), and it’s an easy walk to the local sites.
To be upfront, I reserved this without reading the reviews. READ THE REVIEWS. They are part of the Prince Hotel chain but are far from the quality. I actually will be avoiding that chain for a bit now due to the shocking state this one is in.
The rooms haven’t been renovated for 30+ years; the wallpaper was peeling on the ceiling and the bathroom was very outdated. The entire building (including rooms) is on central heating which means you cannot control the temperature fully in the rooms (the staff is aware, but nothing can be done); they were disgustingly hot, the windows don’t open, and we couldn’t sleep. There was also black mold growing on the heating vent, and my partner and I woke up with blocked sinuses and runny eyes.
The breakfast “buffet” was below standard, and for a cost of ¥2,200 per person, you’d expect someone much...more. The cost of the room was roughly ¥15,000 per night (breakfast not included); it’s horribly over-priced, and cost us roughly ¥20,000 for this terrible experience. It was telling that at breakfast there were only 8 other couples; this is during a major holiday week in Japan.
My suggestion: make it a day-trip to Kawagoe from Tokyo (only 45 minutes). If you must stay in Kawagoe for whatever reason, 100% avoid this place.
