Great location, close to the canals and Jordaan area of the city which we loved the most. There are great cafes, restaurants and a fab gelato place close by so no need to venture too far for meals. Staff were helpful and cleaned the room well each day for us.
They gave you ear plugs for a reason! Other guests were rather loud during our stay and the insulation of the rooms isn’t great, could hear footsteps above us and door slamming outside our room. Quite a few bedrooms in a small building. We stayed in a basement room which was compact- bathroom was very small. Would avoid this room type if you’re over 6 foot tall!

Great location, friendly staff.
Very small room.

view of the canal.
The elevator broke on the first day. We had booked this 4 story hotel knowing about Amsterdam stairways etc. So we actually chose it partially because of elevator. We were offered only taxi to airport as compensation for our sore knees. Not nice to old people.

The location is good.
We had a room at the front and it was incredibly noisy as the hotel is on a busy road. There are no facilities other than the basic ones in the room.

Great location, just on the edge of everything!

The location was very walkable to central Amsterdam, everything was about 15-20 minute walk away. We never used ride share or metro as it was very pleasant walking through the different areas. The room was clean, smelled really good, and comfortable. We were able to get an ironing board and iron delivered to the room upon request.
The elevator was not working, and we were on the 3rd floor (technically the 4th floor for those from America as the EU counts floor 1 as floor 0) AND the steps are extremely steep... close to walking down vertically or climbing straight up...With a bad knee this was very difficult to navigate and I planned my outings to match only going up and down once a day

The room was very well presented, clean and smelled fresh. Clean bedding & towels was provided. Excellent location, not to far from the centre. The patio area was also an added extra which was perfect to have a coffee on in the mornings. I would definitely book this room/hotel again in the future if I was to return. Very friendly staff too.
The stairs were quite steep going down to the basement, but I think this is expected in most places in Amsterdam.

decent location friendly staff done the job perfectly for us
had the room closest to reception and you can hear absolutely everything wasn’t as private as you may like.

the location is nearby city center, the room is very cozy and clean tho a bit small. And there is a coffeemaker and tea kettle inside of room.

The advertisement is completely misleading. It shows the mobility symbol of the wheelchair next to most rooms. This is a lie. The property is completely unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. There are 6 or 7 extremely steep steps to the first door. There is no lift access to basement - it does NOT have a street view. The elevator is nothing more than a modified / advanced dumbwaiter where there are no walls in the lift, and you must hold the button down all times.

the stay was excellent without any doubts, had an amazing room with the views over the canals. Would recommend it to everyone!

I liked the staff they were amazing, the cleaning was great.
The listing said private court yard yet there is no window lock on the neighbours room so they invade the courtyard. The fridge in the room was no colder than outside at 14c.

Upgraded to double, having booked single. Welcoming staff. Useful lift, as I had a bad knee. V comfortable bed, clean and warm room. Quiet. Great location for getting to city centre and other sights.
Nothing.

the room was kind of cold.

Location was very nice, in a great neighborhood with a lot of restaurants and bars nearby.
Staff at reception was nice and welcoming.
The room was ridiculously small, there were two double beds in a space for maximum two people. there wasn't any space to open our luggage.
the bathroom was small and the shower was open, so when you would use it, the entire bathroom was flooded.
it wasn't extremely clean, but we survived for 2 days.
We paid a fortune for two nights, position probably was the reason, but the room wasn't worth it.

Very friendly personel and clean rooms, felt safe.

Location, luggage storage, quiet place and friendly staff
steep stairs, half open cubicle shower room so its wet on the bathroom floor, taking €50 fee as deposit for non smoking room and for ?damage, small room

The hotel îs near the Museums Quarter and close to a canal. Rooms are small as advertisedl but clean. There is an expresso and hot water machine.
Unfortunatelly between the hotel and the nearby canal runs a very busy road. If you are not used with a high car trafic noise you will probably not be able to sleep properly. Also the U shaped matress unpleasant.
